Go Gillster Grin Grin Grin !!

naty, I think you've mislaid your spectacles love and stumbled into the wrong room, this is berry hq and we're all fighting for baby #1 in here, says so ont' poster above the door .

SidneyBristow · 31/01/2014 14:24

Gillster result! Happy for you that things are moving ahead. And a teeeeeeeeeny bit envious that you're skipping straight on to stabbing....I started downregging this morning. who'd have thought a fertility drug might not taste so nice once it starts running down the back of your throat?

Bunnygirlie · 31/01/2014 15:47

lady mad how it all changes so much from county to county. My local FC said to trust the main FCs advices, maybe I got 1 coz they were only day 3

Hey gil yay to getting started! Are you short protocol then?

sid yay to you starting too, boo to the ickyness though Sad

happylass · 31/01/2014 16:01

Great news Sid and Gil. Delighted that your IVF journeys have started.

BlueBirdy · 31/01/2014 16:19

Pip I'm so sorry Sad Hope you are holding up ok. Did you get a 'scratch' or what ever it is before your ET? Maybe your mum was having a bad day or thought that by being blasé about it would make you feel better??? Otherwise Confused

Lady that is impressive how well you have done to get your BMI down. Good to hear you have a nice consultant, BFP around the corner for you, too, FX!

Barking sorry to hear about your hard time at the leaving do - you really are a trooper for trying, though Thanks

Gill, Sid - full steam ahead!! Good luck!!

Aquarius1 · 31/01/2014 18:26

Hi all. I've been a bad berry and not posted for ages - sorry- not much to say apart from whining about my lack of progress & af pain (boring/ same old) but have tried to check in and see what's going on.

pip I'm just so so sorry - do hope you're being well looked after.

Gill and sid & any others progressing with treatment - v exciting and do hope all goes well.

Barking I saw your post about the leaving do & totally empathise- its a horrible feeling when you can't hold it in any longer - but I hope it's helped in some way. I think I'm holding it all in for when I see the the FC who still hasn't followed up after my lap and af is still v v painful. Lucky FC.

Wow lady that's fab going with your bmi- inspiring stuff.

Pipbin · 31/01/2014 18:34

I win the prize for being the bravest Berry today.
Given that it was only yesterday that the IVF failed, today I managed to hold a 4 month old without crying!

Barking you are being rather strict there. But our entry criteria are there for all to see.

Blue. No, my mum is just evil. It's a wonder I'm anything near normal.

SidneyBristow · 31/01/2014 19:12

pip hats off to you; you're a warrior. And here I am weepy because I have a headache and have just vomited. Will try v hard to buck up.

By the way my own mother made some extremely ill-chosen remarks yesterday, fully aware of what today would be like for me. She has since apologised, but still upsetting nonetheless. Sad what is it with mothers sometimes???

CatsCantFlyFast · 31/01/2014 19:13

Bloody hell Pip you are brave, I'm surprised you're even out of bed. Have been thinking of you and OH today, hope the clinic can give you some answers and solid next steps and plans to make another cycle work.

ladybunnikins · 31/01/2014 20:05

I couldn't have done that Pip, well done.

FeatherFeather11 · 31/01/2014 21:24

Gosh pip, you are, as sid said, a warrior woman. I hope you're feeling as ok as you can be and that you and your oh are holding up.

gil and sid wowee, that's come round quick. Everything crossed for you both, as ever!

lady well done on getting your bmi down. Would live to know what you did as I'm in that process tat the moment.

On my way to my birthday thingy and haven't read through too far back. Just wanted to check in and will catch up tomorrow.

Oh, and another friend has just announced she's 16 weeks. Our due dates would have been weeks apart. And my SIL had the baby! I'm excited about that as the poor thing has been in hospital for six weeks and can finally get out in a couple of days.

Still no sign of af. Sad

Bunnygirlie · 01/02/2014 10:27

pip you strength astounds me, hope that you and DH are taking care of yourself x

Hugs to everyone!

Feather are you also trying to lose weight? Oh yes, all your amazing spin classes!!

I also need to lose. I seem to have somehow found an additional dress size Confused how is your diet? Have you tried MyFitnessPal?

Pip when will you next see the clinic?

barkingtreefrog · 01/02/2014 12:14

feather happy birthday? Was it your birthday? Smile

pip Why?! Confused Whose was the baby? Having said that, babies don't upset me as much as bumps. I held both twin babies and only burst into tears when my would-be-matching bump arrived.

I had a proper temp rise this morning Grin . First clear ovulation since July!!!!
Take a look here

Pipbin · 01/02/2014 12:39

Barking. I needed a mum to sign a form and so I held her baby while she did so.

RP. My OTD isn't until Monday. I think I might have even stopped bleeding by then. They won't do the next appointment until I've called in with the bfn.

happylass · 01/02/2014 13:34

Pip hope you and your OH are doing ok and being well looked after Thanks

Yey for Barking's temp rise! Chart is looking great!

RP I lost 10lb before Xmas using MFP and doing nothing other sticking to my very generous 1700 calorie limit. Did do a bit of exercise here and there but in a very haphazard way! My MFP name is happylass14 if you fancy joining me. I've been rubbish at logging since I stopped over Xmas but need to get back in to it in preparation for my bridal duties!

RevoltingPeasant · 01/02/2014 14:56

Happy I have totally sacked off MFP Blush

Will look you up when I am motivated enough to get back on though!!

Pip I'm sorry, that just feels like rubbing it in! But at least you will see someone, talk it through and get a game plan together, instead of just being sat around waiting.

So FF reckons I OV on CD13 which has never happened in the whole course of my ttc existence - always 16 or 17 - which now means our shagging, limited as it was, was necessarily too late Hmm so currently in the middle of the most pointless 2ww ever.

But I did buy a dehumidifier today, which I confidently expect to revolutionise my life!

ladybunnikins · 01/02/2014 17:06

Feather I did slim&save. A bit extreme but fast results so kept me motivated. I lost most of it in 4 months and I've kept it off for 5 months. I'd like to lose a bit more but not on a VLCD.

BlueBirdy · 01/02/2014 17:23

Hi Aqua, was the lap to get to the bottom of painful af then? Do you have an appt booked with the FC to vent talk though next steps etc?

Pip you are very brave! Sorry if this has been discussed before, but did you have endometrial scratching with any of your IVF's? I don't know if it common practice or not.

Happy Birthday Feather!

Barking I have the same problem with my temps in the morning and waking early - it happened again this morning and I found this BBT adjuster if you are interested.

I've started spotting and AF is due tomorrow, so it all begins again. I'm seriously considering investing in a turkey baster thingy (and a vagina 'jack'?) to make sure everything 'hits the spot'. I must be desperate.

FeatherFeather11 · 01/02/2014 18:59

barking and blue yes! It was actually on Thursday and have been out every night since. Feel like in the last three days I've managed to undo all the hard work from the last four weeks!

blue I know a couple who Turkey basted after two years ttc. They now have a three year old! Dare I ask what a 'vagina jack' is?!?! I can't bring myself to google it Blush

lady slim & save looks hardcore! You were on it for four months? I doff my cap to you as I don't know that I would last. How much did you lose? happy, barking and RP am on MFP but a bit lazy with keeping it updated. Am trying though! I'm featherfeather79. I'm just trying to pre-empty what the fc will say if I get the go ahead for IVF - don't want anything to hold up the process so getting on with it. I think I need to lose a 1.5-2stone Hmm

barking yay! You know what to do! Wink

How are you doing pip?

And where's funky and kuma these days?

Aquarius remind me where you're at in ttc again? So much of us that I can't keep track.

Is it time we did another bunny-style list?

barkingtreefrog · 01/02/2014 21:12

I think it's a bit late now feather, the strange bit about my chart was that FF has me Ov'ing on the same day I had the +opk, rather than 24 to 36 hours later, so there was no warning (and it was 5-7 days earlier than ever before so really wasn't expecting it!)

A 3 day birthday is my kind of birthday Grin .

barkingtreefrog · 02/02/2014 07:24

bluebirdy thanks for that, I used it on the two freak results on sundays (I refuse to set an alarm for a Sunday unless I need to) and my chart looks even better now!
I can't adjust the others as I didn't temp at 4am, didn't think there was any point, but now you've shown me that I will take my temp whenever I wake up (4.40 this morning) to use the adjuster on later, and take my temp again when I wake on the alarm and compare the two.

I can't move this morning. Circuit training on Friday night was intense. I can't cough, laugh or turn over in bed without letting out a little squeal of pain! Shock

Parsley2506 · 02/02/2014 08:55

My mind is boggling at the concept of a 'vagina jack' - please explain to stop my horrible imaginings!

barking the pain means you worked hard and have probably earned a lie in and maybe a bacon sarnie.... Smile

Family party for my Dad's birthday today - SIL with 'my' bump will be there and my extended family don't know about my MC, so mentally preparing for lots of Envy and Hmm as she is cooed over all afternoon.

Bunnygirlie · 02/02/2014 09:47

vagina jack ?!?!?!? Shock

Hugs for today parsley

My mate just sent a text to say she's going to be 'too fat for fun activities' at the wedding so would volunteer to help in the kitchen. I'm now crying just at the mention of her bump. I need to get a grip or I'm going to have a miserable wedding. I wish I'd had the miscarriage before we got engaged, I'm really struggling to forget the 7 month bump I would have had, and it seems to be making me react unreasonably towards the bumps that will be there. Sad

Someone please wang me with a sausage Angry .

Oh, and I'm symptom spotting at 4dpo. Bloody ridiculous.
