Re dildocam: I'm now so nonplussed by it I don't even blush. Was having four or five a month while on clomid!

HB I've never had a dildocam but I'm sure you'll be fine! It's all positive steps forward

I am on CD27 and feeling crap AKA exactly how I normally feel before AF shows her ugly face. I desperately want to be positive but I know I am more than likely about to have my hopes cruelly dashed AGAIN. This is first cycle ttc after my MMC in Nov, so expecting double the devastation when it comes.

tiger my friend, who also conceived by iui following 3 failed ivfs, once said, you gotta leave your dignity at the door and collect it on the way out! The one I stressed most about was one I had to have on day 2 of my period. Was convinced it was going to be some kind of bloodbath but it was absolutely fine!

hb another ivf-er! This thread might need renaming! At least the others will have plenty of advice to give you by then!

I had enough blood to need to change a mini tampon after 6 hours today!! And I have bad AF cramps .

Who would ever have thought after more than 2 years ttc that this was something to celebrate?!

Gill ooh told your boss, nice to get it off your chest isn't it. I told mine just before I had my lap and he has been amazing. It's weird that he knows more than family and friends though!

HB dildocams are fine, you get quite used to being prodded lol. I've only had a few, one at first FC appt, one prior to starting ivf and because of my fast eggs only one during the jabs. I feel I've missed out lol. P.s. my hubby thinks he's hilarious as he calls them fannycams!

tiger there is no dignity in this ttc business, just wait till you get to the ivf! I have no words!

barking woohoo to af! I do think acu is powerful stuff! fingers crossed for a shotgun wedding!! OH and I are not married because family opposed our plans for a tiny wedding abroad and yet have not offered to contribute to an expensive traditional wedding so I'm keen to get up the duff and then insist on a shotgun wedding!

Hello ladies,

I've been MIA because right before Christmas, it all got too much for me. I became an irrational, emotional mess and just could not talk about it.

Better now. AF today, which is always a bit of a downer, but I have now had six months of regular cycles (before, they could be anything from 31 to 47 days) thanks to acupuncture and my acupuncturist says that my pulses feel quite healthy, whatever that means. I'm also finally going on honeymoon (we got married in July!) in February. The timing is not too conductive to getting pregnant but I hope to get some serious relaxation out of it!

Because, 40, 9 months TTC, getting needled pretty much every week.

Evening, just dropping in so sorry for the lack of personals.

Barking yay for period! I was 2 days late starting current cycle (period arrived on what should have been cd3), even though temps dropped on what should have been cd1. Was expecting to Ov cd14 (as usual) but am cd11 and have had a low dip which makes me think I'lll Ov cd12 (but what should have been cd14). What I'm getting at is that I don't think 1st day of this cycle was 1st day of proper flow and that I am in fact on cd13, so maybe it is not set in stone that '1st day of proper flow is 1st day of cycle' (or at least that the medics that swear by that are also the type that swear on a 14 day LP). Anyway, I know you are not always sure what would constitute as your cd1, so thought this was worth mentioning (but don't mean to complicate things!).
