Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

Massive congrats to quark. Lovely for one of us to get a bfp in time for Christmas. Fingers crossed for some more please and thank you. Bear, I've been having similar nausea symptoms for a while now but tests are saying bfn. Might have to go to doctor and get it checked as it's not normal for me. Also had the sorest boobs ever last month. I know we're not supposed to symptom spot but we are only human, ladies. Merry Christmas to you all. Happy shagging and bring on the BFPs x x

I love a crazy symptom spotting sesh, but a I'm still throwing a mini-hooya your way Bear totally crossing fingers too though!
I'm icing symptom spotting, randomly started bleeding again two days ago (due to ice tomorrow) which has never ever happened... Dr Goofle tells me it ovulation spotting, but we know what happens if you listen to him! Very odd. Not sure if the whole being pregnant then not being pregnant thing will have played havoc with my cycle forever more
On the plus side, we got our capes on tonite Though had a coughing fit right after and was panicking that I might have coughed all the good stuff right out again! I have a no laughing, sneezing, or coughing after sex rule right now - them muscles are powerful!!!

Jealous of you who are jsing. Last time we got our capes on Mr Rach infected me with man flu.

Not feeling ever-so sexy what with the snot, the sneezing and the smell of vick lingering around me.

Soooo, what are all your general rules for drinking over festive TWOT?

I've managed to give up caffeine, and after the withdrawal headaches I'm in no hurry to take it up again

I think it's fine to drink as even if you are heading for a bfp the baby would not be connected to your blood stream for a couple more weeks. However I don't drink any way so what would I know

I'm a JSing grad (from the days when some of the terms in your OP were set!), my DD is now almost 9 months old and I just wanted to wish you all the very best in your JSing journeys in 2014

P.s my one too is to JS EOD (every other day) - I didn't realise I'd got my OV dates completely wrong as obv I didn't use contraband OPKs and it was only when we JSed EOD that I got my BFP!

lentil - me & DH discussed the booze options, and as we think I iced yesterday (not that we DTD - not in PIL's spare bed in house with thin walls ) I'm gonna booze it up this week. Any potentially fertilized eggie (from our one shag on Monday -c'mon!!!) won't be implanting for a week and even then won't start to share nutrients for a while. We've agreed I should go it easy from New Years onwards just in case

Got the results of the genetic testing today as they biopsied the embryos before freezing them. One is chromosomally normal; the other is not. :( We have decided to do another IVF cycle before a transfer so that we can hopefully "bank" more viable embryos. I feel a bit greedy since we do have one viable embryo and I am so grateful - but as the doc said, as I get older it will be even more difficult to get enough eggs for success as I responded low to the highest dose of meds as it is. If we want to have more than one kid, and we would, this seems like the right move. We have the insurance now too though we do need to scrape together more funds for additional cryopreservation and the genetic testing, if we do that again. I am emotionally spent from all the hurdles. Truth be told, I am still holding out some hope for a surprise natural BFP this month. We are wearing our capes daily during our days off for the holidays!

Hey Red, good news, sounds like sound forward planning, I feel a bit "greedy" wanting a child at all, let alone more than one, it's not greed though

Also feeling a bit like "hope" is a four letter word, a bad one. Very little strategic caping going on.

Red - mixed news, but sounds wise to do another cycle and get some more in the bank. Yay for the good frembreyo though, and fx for that natural BFP

Red such mixed news but I think you're wise to go for another cycle. You're so patient though! I would likely go for the one and waste the chance to have more viable embryos.... Which is likely to be less successful.
