I'm trying not to be grumpy today. Last 3 times of dtd dh has had issues. No problem actually dtd, just finishing. He says he's not sure why. Is it bad I'm just hoping for some stray swimmers?

Fingers crossed for you minion. My af is due on Wednesday too, although I've broken out in spots over the weekend so I think she's on her way. Strange pinching pain in my right side this morning.

rach maybe it's the pressure of baby making. My dp really doesn't want to know when I'm ovulating as it put too much pressure on him to 'perform.'

cookie I'd be calling the dept in advance of anticipated results and finding out who will be calling me when they arrive. You have to be a bit of a control freak with these things as they won't worry about it, sadly. Or maybe I'm wrong. Hope so!
Thanks for that package of positivity minion, got the cape on this weekend and feeling good about this cycle, no idea why! Just trying to enjoy ourselves instead of it all being so functional dtd-wise. It's really a struggle for us to do it a lot so trying to make it a bit more fun.

It seems so early to have a tree up! I don't usually bother til around the 18th etc but I seem to be in denial about the whole thing. This weekend is the 2 year anniversary of finding out I was pg last time around so very mixed emotions which I am trying to ignore.

Nothing much to report here from your shagger-turned-IVFer. My last few scans and blood work seem to have gone well. I have no idea what the estrogen level numbers mean and I refuse to consult Dr. Google, but the doctors seem pleased with their upward trajectory, and I already have a few big follicles on deck. Last night I added another injection to my nightly repertoire, this one to prevent my body from ovulating before they are ready to harvest the eggs. (Oh god, harvest just sounds wrong.) This new med is making me exhausted. It is going to be a rough week at work. I think the retrieval is still on schedule for Friday or Saturday. DH, bless him, has been practicing making love to tiny cups in the bathroom so he will feel confident he can hit the target on the big day.

Still debating whether to put the tree up tonight. The spirit is willing, as they say, but the flesh is weak...

In the clinic awaiting my turn to get poked with the wand. I thought children weren't allowed in the waiting room of this place? Watching a cute little guy playing his video game and little girl on her mom's lap eating a granola bar and rocking her Disney socks. It doesn't bother me but I have to imagine it bothers some who are struggling? Then again these parents must be struggling too for number two if they are here.

I thought kids weren't allowed in too...maybe it only applies to small babies? I woman had a tiny baby in the early pregnancy unit while I was waiting to see if I was miscarrying, it wasn't good, I wouldn't have minded older children though. Also when I left the gynea ward at midnight after miscarrying there was a woman pushing her baby out in the corridor. It was so distressing, they should be in completely separate parts of the hospital.

I've not peed yet! Will try and hold it til tomorrow morning. Have some symtoms but hard to tell whether it's af on the way or a bfp: sore boobs, sore back, sore hips, waves of nausea and last night I was absolutely roasting hot despite the house being cool. Trying not to get carried away here.

Well done for not POAS this morning. Once the FMU is gone, there really isn't any point in doing it until tomorrow (this early on) - so if you caved and did it today, you wouldn't be getting an accurate result anyway.
