Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Hi guys! Thanks for kind thoughts (all apart from one rl friend (inc my mum) forgot! Yes, everything went well. Turns out I've worked with my doctor (she's a complete bitch to work with but a good doctor as I remember!)

barking this was only day one, small steps hon Smile

boodle I still think you should pay for private monitoring this last cycle, if you can afford it. Well, that's what I was going to do but never got around to it. X

ladybunnikins · 06/11/2013 22:09

That's great news, Kitty!

RevoltingPeasant · 06/11/2013 23:30

Yay Kitty! How exciting!

Merk I think you're right. But Lady surely that is cheating?! Shock will try it tout suite!

Yes I imagine it must feel hard to fully believe.... Fc!

RevoltingPeasant · 06/11/2013 23:30

Also good fo you Bunny!!

RevoltingPeasant · 06/11/2013 23:32

Tried it and still has me OV on Friday. Boo hiss. I don't believe it!

CatsCantFlyFast · 07/11/2013 06:40

RP it won't change anything if you take that temp away because it will still assume ov was your lowest temp (fri). My point was that I think sun would/should have been your lowest temp but you took it late hence it being higher. If you make the Sunday temp the same/slightly lower than the Friday temp then I think your O will change. I'm pretty certain your sun temp would have been low if taken at the same time as the others

funkymonk · 07/11/2013 07:53

Great news Kitty!

Hope you had a lovely hols bunny!

Gill, thtombophilia is where your blood clots too much. Some types are more risky in pregnancy than others. Can cause recurrent miscarriages (I've had one. They usually only test after 3 but this was my 'dh and I work for the NHS perk'), loss in later stages of pregnancy, still births, risk of clots to myself... Will need to take blood thinners from a positive test, but that's all they told me so far (they didn't even know dose when I asked). Tomorrow I will have been waiting 2 weeks for them to give me more information.

RevoltingPeasant · 07/11/2013 17:05

Hello all! How are you all doing today? I'm just at that weird stage of the 2ww where it's about 6dpo so I have ages left before AF but also can't really symptom spot yet. Which is good because I have no symptoms.

Merk - yes, I see what you mean. Never mind. Basically, whether I OV on Friday or Sunday is kind of out of my control now Grin so I'll stop banging on about it!!!

Off to the theatre tonight........

Gillster · 07/11/2013 18:35

I'm also off to the theatre - what a cultured lot we are!

Hope they can manage your thrombophilia Funky in the future and that it doesn't have any impact on TTC.

Received letter this evening to say that my fibroid op has been pushed back to Dec 9 now. Have mixed feelings about this as the new date is better in terms of when the op will happen in my cycle and work is crazy at the moment so don't have to worry about taking time off so soon. On the negative side the FC said we should wait 3 months between op and IVF which now puts me even closer to March.

I'll tell DH that he'd better saddle up pronto as this month is now back on! Fortunately I haven't OV'd yet, would be pretty cross if I had.

Pipbin · 07/11/2013 20:20

Evening ladies.
What news?
Congratulations Feathers

No real news here. I think I ov'd yesterday or today and I had loads of EWCM this week and today is day 15. We tried to DTD last night but our bed is really noisy and it completely put DH off.
Next round of IVF should start in the middle of December so this is my last chance to do it naturally before the next round.

Pipbin · 07/11/2013 20:35

Oh, and an interesting thing about cheap HPTs.

The TA I work with is currently about 9 weeks pg, she is very anxious about it as she had a loss with her first pregnancy. She said to me that she was worried that she had lost the baby. She had no reason to think this but had suddenly decided this was the case. I suggested that she bought a pregnancy test to double check. If the line was faint then she was right to worry. So she didn't want to buy and expensive test and went to B & M and got a cheapy. Came back negative!! She panicked and bought a Clearblue which came back very positive!

BlindKitty · 07/11/2013 21:57

pip at 9 weeks, even if she had lost the baby she'd still have hormones in her system for a while so could get a positive anyway. Sure she's just being irrational (because I do it every other day) but she could fork out for an early scan to put her mind at rest? X

Pipbin · 07/11/2013 21:59

She was told that a scan wouldn't who much. I know that the test wouldn't prove much but it put her mind at rest.

happylass · 07/11/2013 21:59

Ewwwwww. When will I learn not to stray on other threads! Discussing EWCM with the Berries is one thing but this is another league of TMI!

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/1904919-Something-disgusting-has-just-fallen-out-of-my-lady-parts-Please-advise?pg=3

Do NOT click on th photo by the way Shock. Have learnt some thing new though, now know what a sootikin is!

barkingtreefrog · 07/11/2013 22:29

Happy So are you going to share with the rest of us what it is or do I need to go on that thread you've just told me you shouldn't have read?!?

Pip I did think to myself the other day that if when I get another bfp I'm going to struggle to relax about it, and actually even if I have a scan it's only going to reassure me for that day hour, it could potentially all go wrong the very next day and I wouldn't even know. I guess that's why they say early scans don't necessarily help.
When in Dec is your IVF? Will you be going through it all over Christmas or will you know in time to either enjoy the mulled wine or have a lovely Christmas bfp? (I've got a feeling in my bones you won't be enjoying any wine this xmas Grin ).

rp you can drive yourself insane over-analysing if/when you Ov'd. Forget about it and start symptom spotting instead Wink .

mrswalker13 · 07/11/2013 22:31

Inevitably I was unable to resist clicking on that happy and Shock is all I can say... To both the thread and sootikin!

Now need some mental flossing before bed!

MrBeardySexShorts · 07/11/2013 22:47

Yes but have no symptoms. Unless a sore throat counts? Hmm

MrBeardySexShorts · 07/11/2013 22:47

omg namechange fail Blush

barkingtreefrog · 07/11/2013 22:48

Er.. I'm confused..... Confused

Boodle9 · 07/11/2013 22:58

Eh?! Checked in to see what's going on in Berryland and I think I'm just going to back out slowly...! Stuff falling out of fanjos and someone who may or may not be a Berry with a sore throat! I'm blonde and easily confused!!!

barkingtreefrog · 07/11/2013 23:07

I just googled sootikin. Thanks for that happy. Angry Grin

happylass · 07/11/2013 23:12

Eh???? Confused

Baring you're most welcome Grin. Glad I'm not the only one never to have heard of sootikin!!

OP posts:
Pipbin · 07/11/2013 23:13

Barking, my injections should start on day 21 of my next cycle which should be around the 13th of December. So I will be able to drink but I'm not planning on doing too much drinking.

Do I want to google sootikin?

happylass · 07/11/2013 23:13

Barking not Baring!

OP posts:
Pipbin · 07/11/2013 23:16

Ah, it seems that it should be spelt sooterkin.
