Ha ha at forgetting Foody! I went back to work the day after my wedding and when someone said congrats it honestly took me 10 seconds to work out what they were on about!

All went fine today. As it happened kiddie pool was closed so DH and I had a swim whilst sil took the DC in the park and then she shepherded them through after and bil and us took them in the pool. 'twas fine, as they are nice kids, but just don't know me as I only see them about twice a year and they always look at me like I'm about to eat them or something. I'm hoping when they are older we will have more of a relationship.

Anyhow boom I cannot believe you are sixteen weeks! My goodness!

And Feather, I'm so happy for you :) when I was reading your blurb about one Fallopian tube etc, it was like the end to a film where you finally triumphed against the odds. Good for you and DP!

Going to saddle up DH again tonight as fx I am OV tomorrow.....

Boodle We should go together!

RP I felt the same about my nephew and niece until recently, they didn't remember us from one visit to the next, now they are 2 and 4 they know who we are and it's lush!

Happy riding cowgirl Wink

DH is gutted its not happening for him this holiday, would be perfect timing as he's always up for it when it's not after a stressful day at work, in 10 days time when we need to DTD it'll be crap again!

Need to get a grapple hook for the bottom of that Berry-copter...

I'm feeling all pathetic because I've realised that 3 lots of very close friend couples are either trying now or will be very very soon. I'm dreading a triple cluster-diff in real-life. That will really suck!

Barking you clever thing you! Making your own wedding dress! I briefly considered making my own invitations but then came to my senses and realised it would look like our 2 year old nephew had done them! Creativity is not my strong point.
Boodle fear not I'm still convinced I'm going to be the last Berry standing! We're only half way through our period of abstinence so am sure you'll have all flown off in to the sunset in that chopper long before I even resume TTC Sad

kuma norty Grin Nah, sil is really nice when she stfu about wohms This is a bit cruel but after bil's comments about ivf last visit I casually mentioned DSis is having fertility problems, as she has endometriosis and may not be able to conceive except through ivf. She was all Shock and didnt know what endometriosis was, and then said "ooh I just can't imagine that, I can't imagine having fertility problems".

boodle DM rang for a chat tonight and asked three separate times if there was Anything New With Us. It is nice that she is tactful enough not to ask but also feel like a disappointment. She doesn't have any DGC yet.

Report
Boodle9 · 03/11/2013 20:06

RP, my mum is exactly the same! No GC for her yet either, but always asks me that question when she rings up! Love her to bits, but she'd drive me mad mithering about things if I told her what was going on though, so best just to keep schtum!

My mom brought up the 'I want you to make a baby' thing today on a video call with the whole family. I told her that I'm too old and she needs to STFU. I think that did the trick Grin

kitty getting someone else to make it would cost money!! Wink Shock
Attempt 1 was a shocker. I used a pattern but didn't like the skirt so then tried to adapt it (which took hours) but it looked awful. So I used an old bed sheet to try again from scratch with a skirt made according to instructions I found online with the bodice from the pattern, then adapted the skirt to fit the bodice and used a collar I designed based on another dress I have.... Mark 2 I'm a lot happier with! Grin . Still needs tweaking but I'm happy with the basic idea. Unfortunately I think it used more fabric than I have bought for the final version, and there was no more available so I might have to source it somewhere else - fingers crossed!!!

I'd love my brother & SiL to have a baby but if I'm honest I'd struggle a little bit with feeling Envy about not having the first GC given I'm the oldest sibling. Although to be fair SiL is 3 years older than me. It'd be great if we were pg around the same time though Grin . However not sure my mother would cope with getting split in two directions with two new GC!!
