Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Sorry some of you have had to join from the last bus, but welcome anyway! Yeah i had a smear during one of my earlier cycles too, in fact i had two over a couple of months as the nurse didn't get enough cells the first time (you can imagine how thrilled i was about that lol) like punky we just didn't dtd the night before, although I think you can if you want I was just paranoid about cleanliness!

Sorry wine...what a bitch AF has been to you. Smear test is fine when ttc...I even had a colposcopy done in the summer (to test dodgy cells) and she knew we wanted a baby. I think its just any treatment that is needed is done afterwards. Not that you will need anything....god Im rambling...lol

I'm so confused, was getting lines on my opks yesterday, darker as the day went on but not dark enough to be positive, but today it's even fainter!! What is that all about??

Thanks, I thought it would be ok but when you are ttc you don't want to risk anything that might prevent it.
I will ring Drs tomorrow and book appt before I forget.

Just sent mine to the shop for bread and bacon as were both feeling a bit hungover this morning. I'm not usually much of a drinker at all but ended up putting quite a lot away last night so feeling a bit delicate now!

Can you take me off the December bus!! BFP in November!!

Hello everyone - please can I sort of join, but not really? I don't want to tempt fate; me and DH are planning to just 'go with the flow' as of this month...but I'd like to do a bit more than just lurk.

So if you see someone perched tentatively at the back of the bus, it's me!! :-)

Thanks mama, and to you! Its the first time that I've got butterflies in my tummy, thinking 'wow, this is it, we can actually start trying now', although we kind of were before this exciting ov news lol.

Lets hope I'm one of the very lucky ladies that manages to get a BFP in my first cycle, but if I'm brutally honest, even if I see AF, think I will just be relieved that everything is in full working order! Only time will tell ;-)

Oh Howly what great news, Congratulations!!

I've just been shopping and seeing all the Christmas baby outfits has made me extra broody.

My cycles are all over the place after coming off depo but I've started my pregnacare conception and b6 supplements and will now hopefully be looking forward to a BFP late in December instead of hopping onto the January bus.

Im sure Ive asked this already but B6...what does it do and how much do I need to take? And is it over the counter?

Yeay Mama!!! Tugs Santa hat firmly on and switches on the fairy lights....momentarily stops the bus, races outside and plonks a huge holly wreath on the front of the bus and lavishly ties a red velvet ribbon into a big bow all round the bus, jumps back on and tells the driver to crack her up, this my friends is the fancy BFP December bus ready for some festive fun!!!!! Hands out crackers, gets over excited pulling mamas and clonks head on bus window......

I've been told that B6 can lengthen the luteal phase of your cycle. My cycles are too short at the moment. I've also heard that it can help increase the amount of CM as can grapefruit juice.

Do you know how much is recommended?

I hope in my cracker is either a pg test or a pack of opks, the amount of money spent eek...

I just love this time of year and it's so busy it may be a good think to take our minds off ttc and just to relax a bit more.....and to get cosy in front of the fire with DH ;)

Hoping we get the pressie we are all after.....a BFP!!! and if not....sure there will be plenty of mulled wine parties and treats to keep us happy :) bring on the BFP though....that's all we really want!!! ;)

Welllll hello there mama glad you are in on the festive fun. Il tell you a story....me and my crazy sister once did a clotted cream challenge (seeing your post reminded me!!!). We had a bet who could eat one of those tubs the quickest....and yes it got verrryyyy messy lol!!!

Anyway, lets hope this bus is lucky girls, loving the decs on the bus and very tempted to get ours out soon at home!!!

May I hop on the bus?
I am tempted to start ttc this cycle but if by - a lot- of luck I got a BFP, the due date would be 19 August, which isn't great for school.
I have 2 DBS and I can see the difference it makes, they are born in spring and kids born in autumn are much more mature.
BUT both times I gave birth at 42 w so I might just risk it.. And it will also probably take ages to get a BFP so sm probably fussing over a problem I will never have!
What do you think?
I am desperate to start ??
