Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Thank you all so much for kind words. I am fine really, and no Karmala no one here built my hopes up at all - i did that all by myself because she didn't arrive in the morning like normal. I wan't even officially late anyway - that bitch was on time in the end!

Anyway, moping is done with. That was yesterday and will not help anyone. Today is cd 1, af is in full flow and we are off. Thanks onelife i would love to squeeze in with you girls, thanks for making room and sharing the fluffy blanket.

This month I'm going to continue with my cbfm and just roll with it in between parties and the like. I'm not buying grapefruit juice or eating any pineapple this month or doing any other tricks - I'm SO hoping for a bfp xmas day to put in DH stocking - how amazing would that be?!!!

Just started getting random dull tummy ache so maybe thats a sign ov is coming.......!!!

You ladies that temp are so dedicated, I was gonna temp this month but its such a faff to do at same time every morning especially when dp works shifts so is in and out at all hours waking me up!!!

So I've just ordered a bumper pack of ov sticks from amazon, I'm ready for when af buggers off

However an Xmas day wrapped up in his stocking bfp sounds great!
So I thought coming off the pill I'd have lost weight. I am obviously weird as I've put on a couple of pounds and gone up a cup size! Crazy! This month I'm drinking decaf tea, not using artifical sweetners and taking a prenatal vitamin thing instead of just folic acid. Cut down the cigs to just 3 a day (when I'm at work) I know I've gotto stop soon though.
CD14 here and temp still around 36.3 so not ovulated yet.

Can I join the festive bus please? :) got booted off the Nov bus by AF. :( ttc #2 ds is 5 months. Wasn't really too fussed about ttc til after wedding next year but after cp in October gotten really broody and dp has agreed that there's no time like the present :) seeing as it was basically a major shagathon last month a bit peeved that af turned up a day earlier than expected...I bring black forest gateau to bribe a ticket :)

I know mine are a bit weird but hoping as I work through my cycle some kind of pattern might emerge. Gonna start with OPKs on Sunday so hopefully with that and temping FF will be able to pin point my ov day. We're aiming to do the SMEP this cycle, on CD 7 and DTD every other day. FX

Ladies I think I may soon be booted off too. Had some spotting this morning, very dark brownish type blood (tmi I know) and some strangey cramps but all has gone now, but I'm sure it's only a matter or hours before the full flow begins. Shocked me seeing the spotting - so out of practise with the whole AF saga!! Hope this post finds you all well xx

I saw newborn twins today at the GP....so scrummy...this has not helped the broodiness!!!

On another note, I think im nearly ov from cp position.....no expert tho lol!!!

Oh bex so sorry, af may be on its way.
I'm feeling extremely bored of ttc this month. I don't know what's wrong with me!!! I think because af was so late last month and it was a real disappointment to not get a bfp 2 weeks later, I'm not holding out much hope this month. I need a slap!!!

Yep I thought I was going to be a lucky first timer everythingsinmjinature, but hey ho the spotting and cramping has stopped completely, and I feel very sick now - just cooked tea and added plenty of my most favourite thing (garlic) but the smell has knocked me sick my nipples are terribly sore too. I hope AF hurries as it feels like it's going to be a bitch

Are the sore nipples and sense of smell a normal af thing??
I thought coming off the pill I'd catch easily but no!! One if my clients, swapped pills, went from one to the new set and caught in between starting a new pill, they weren't even trying!! I get slightly jealous when I hear things like that.
And work is frustrating, as all my clients keep saying we'll you be having one now!!

No not at all normal for me but I guess it's all related to coming off the pill. Yep stories like that pee me off a little too!! Only in a jealous type way lol x

bex I had exactly the sanw symptoms when I came off the pill, convinced myself I was upduffed but sadly not it did settle down after about 4 weeks though, I was on gedarel, what about you?

Well I'm at a lost... Last month I was 5 days early, came on 27th rather than 1st, but this month I thought it would be either 1st December or 27th again but nope... I came on 23rd (must be the shortest cycle I have ever had) usually same date every month, sometimes differs by a one day
Cycle 25 now it would seem :(

So perhaps I'm staying on the December bus ha ha what a disaster month after month

Missingbun I was on Cerazette - came off 5 weeks ago but I actually think I will be lucky in the respect that I will get my cycles back quite quickly - I ov'd weekend before last, so my AF/bfp would be due on Sunday anyway, so I'm only a day or so early if i come on tomorrow - so fingers crossed my cycle is sorted out now. Let's hope anyway x

Yes ofcourse fx for you bex are you testing tmoz at the party? Would be lovely to see some bfps im out this month so have to sit out till 31st Dec..... could be a long wait!!

Hey question for those who temp and OPK.

I had what i thought was the start of a kidney infection yesterday, starting drinking loads of water to flush my system. (pain is gone today)

I have been using fertility friend which thinks I should ovulate today. my temp has been between 96.7-97.1 but rose to 97.5 this morning.
I have been doing IC OPK which did get darker yesterday but not darker then the control line. this morning the OPK was back to a very light line. (i'll do another test in the afternoon)

Was the pain ovulation pains? did i ovulate yesterday and my very diluted urine was not strong enough for the OPK?

I'm not temping, just using FF as a place to log happenings so far. No idea how I would temp, it seems like you have to be very dedicated and I am not totally sure how it works .. have to read up.

If no BFP this month, Jan will be the month of OPK's I feel.

I don't know if I missed Ov this month or what. EWCM came then went. Had a brief return one morning (??) and went again.. no idea what is/was going on. DH was away until yesterday but EWCM has gone totally so whenever O was, it's gone now so all DTD now is purely entertainment

Just have to wait and see if AF turns up now.. should be 10/11th December.

That could have been Ovulation pain Rockin!

Hi rockin20s I temp and OPK, but I don't know if I can be much help!

I have never gotten a dark line on the opk i only ever get pale "negative" lines, I have tried twice a day, different times of the day, not peeing for hours before piac but nothing makes a difference. The month I got pg (early mc) i got no lines at all on the OPK not even faint ones.

I tried them again this month and did notice the pale line was stronger about 3 days before my temp shift but it was never darker, or even as dark, as the control line and the next day it was paler again.

If your temp has jumped significantly i'd make a guess that the pains were ov pains. Do you get a temp drop on day of ov? I do (yesterday it dropped to 36.3 then bounced up to 36.7 this morning so i can guess that yesterday was ov) I find that temping and cm is easier for me to monitor than OPK, but others have really positive experiences with OPK so hopefully someone will be able to help you!

thanks Karmalaa, i got a slight temp drop yesterday and then a slight rise this morning.
last month I used the OPK and they were blank till about 2 days before O then got stronger to O day then light the next day. so worked perfectly

this month i have had a faint line on ALL of the OPK and i started to test on CD 4 till now CD14. it did get darker yesterday but not darker then the test line.

all very strange I dont really monitor the CM as i find i don't have a lot anyway, we have always used lube as i find it more comfortable .

I'll keep going with the temp and OPK for now. might try the evening primrose oil for the CM in a few months time. Meanwhile i have now switch to pre-seed instead of the normal durex lube!
