Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Yours are varying a hell of a lot less than mine karmalaa. mine went from 36.4 down to 35.9, down to 35.85 then up to 36.23 and 36.25!! What the hell is goin on. Always test between half 7 and 8am, always before getting out of bed. Confused.com!

Hi ladies, could I jump on board please...AF got me this morning so I'm off the November bus (the only good thing about this is I can enjoy a few glasses of mulled wine when the Christmas markets open in Munich this week) Stats are ttc #1 cycle 3 BFP due 24th dec. I can't believe it's cycle 3 already...I (stupidly) thought it'd all be simple for me and I'd get pregnant easily! FX for Christmas BFPs for us all!!

Hi ladies! So I ordered some tests off Amazon and received them today - 1 week to wait until AF but I was stupidly impatient and did the test at about 4pm - BFN :(

I would love a New Year BFP but can't help feeling rather disappointed even though this was first 1/2 cycle of TTC and I didn't REALLY expect anything to happen... There's always that thought of "but I could be...". Should I give up hope now or hold on until expected AF date for this month (1st dec)???

I would def wait and test again when AF is due! It still might be too early to detect any hormone!
I know the feeling I have a test on the bathroom I want to take! But am trying to wait til Monday! I had a bfp last month but it only picked up 4 days after AF was due but bled that evening and lost it! Just wait and see, it's not over til af gets you!

Sazzle - just wanted to say a big boo hiss to hearing af arrived, so unfair, was rooting for you Come&sit near us, we'll budge up. And here have a mulled wine&mince pie, the fluffy blanket is available if required

Oh sazzle that sucks, although its lovely to have you here I was really hoping it was your month for a bfp. As onelife says, grab the blanket and hop aboard, and just think if you get a Christmas day bfp all of this will be totally worth it.

That's rubbish Sazzle . Reading through I was getting all excited for you.

I've been trying out FF this month, but it's confusing me .. No idea what it's going on about, this is what it says today!

" You are on Cycle Day (CD) 19. You are now waiting for your ovulation. Make sure to monitor your cervical fluid closely."

Er... but below it says this!

"Your cervical fluid pattern indicates that you may have ovulated between Cycle Day 16 and Cycle Day 18."

Whut ?

It's moot anyway as OH has been away since Tue (Apparently, OD) so if FF is right, we've zero hope this month sigh.

gah! somuch, that is weird. What does your gut instinct say? Do you use other ways to check for ov? Did you and your OH dtd before he went away? xx

SoMuch it says that as it hasn't confirmed when O is yet; it wants to see 3 days of raised temps before it will confirm when it was. Confusing huh? You'll get used to it though. Any q's about FF, give me a shout!

Oh sazzle, FX for this month

sazzle i think FF will only confirm ovulation if you either put opk readings in or you are recording your temp. This month I decided to just track my cm, but I'm going to put a few 'cheat' opk readings just so I know my approximate dpo. Also, you may have already done this, but put as much past history data as you can. The more data FF has the better a job it does. Finally, it sometimes takes a few hours to update. I find I sometimes have to close the app, then re-open it for it to catch up.

Last night I had the pinching feel in my left ovary. Do you think that is the release of the egg? Different schools of thought on google. I'm just wondering how many more days I should dtd for. Tempted to do an opk just to see if I've ovulated. I'm trying to be more chilled this month, but not having the tools to help me makes me feel less in control and therefore speculating about everything more. We've dtd the last 2 nights and would like a night off tonight, but I'm desperate to give myself the best chance this cycle. Any thoughts guys?

sazzle i'm super sorry that af got you this month and I'm sorry if we added to you building your hopes up, as bexboo said, that's one af closer to the BFP. Keep your chin up.

laravh your temps do seem to fluctuate, though I only use a regular themometer which measures to one decimal point, not two, I think maybe i'd see more fluctuation if I used a better themometer!

I'm with you at confused.com I was convinced of ov on CD15/16, I was feeling all smug that we'd dtd at the right time then boom, this morning 36.3 i'm guessing today (CD18) is ov day. Needless to say grabbed OH for a quick dtd before work!!

Sazzle sorry the witch got you again! I definitely agree with whoever posted a little while ago and said they wished TTC was like a test you could just revise for! We do everything we can every month and then have to leave it to chance once our bodies take over. Fx for next month for us all.

SMF that sounds confusing! Do you have any idea from previous months as to which FF prediction is right? I'm also using FF this month for first time and my temps look like a toddler has gone mad with a crayon so no idea what the software will make of that!

AFM CD10 today and just managing to get rid of lovely thrush! (Sorry if TMI) hoping it can be all cleared up for me to pounce on DH at weekend. We are actually away on holiday so hopefully that may take the pressure off a bit!
