Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Hi Ladies. This thread is getting busy! Good luck to all the new TTCers on the thread, congrats to the BFPs and sorry to hear about those who've been caught by the witch. I think I'll be one of those kicked off soon too as can feel AF starting to bubble :( Like many have said, I think the symptoms I was getting were probably caused by coming off implant. Oh well - there's always next month. I received a package of HPTs in the post the other day and have been stupidly testing every day since as I have ZERO willpower and of course they came back with BFNs. It's great that it means guilt free alcohol consumption over the festive period though. Hope you are all well! xx

Rockin...be careful with lube. I read somewhere that it can effect the acidity and effect your mans little swimmers -making them less mobile. Fx for you

ya heard the same so we are changing over the pre-seed this month. we will be trying from christmas so this is all pre-TTC testing at the mo to get an idea of my cycle

rockin only time will tell but I would guess that you ovulated yesterday, which is why the opk line is fainter today and your temp has risen. Good move with switching to pre-seed, the durex one has spermicide in it I think!

Onelife my sore nipple is back....lol. It must be ov surely?! I hope so, just need to try and carry on with dtd alongside a sore throat my little pickle gave me!!

Spent so much today crimbo shopping but its pretty much done phew Smile and guess what its the wkend for putting decs up so I hope you are all getting festive Smile

Well I think I'm on the way off this bus Sad. Spotting started today, which I thought was actually about 4dpo as various signs made me presume ovulation about 4 days ago, but I was also debating about 9 days ago. It looks like it was around 9 days ago, so I would be 9dpo and AF usually arrives on 10dpo. Rubbish! On the plus side, it would mean a cycle of 31 days which means my cycle is hopefully getting better on cycle 5 post pill. If this does turn out to be AF, I would next be due on NYE I think. I will whit and see!

Evening ladies, well I think I may be out this month...spotting started yesterday, and af's pathetic attempt today has left me peeved. If that's all she's got to offer she can pee right off Wink just downloaded ovuline now that I have a 'first day of period' to put in to an app - anyone used it? Looks a bit strange tbh...Confused

Hey Bex, sorry to hear you're out :( I think I may be joining you very soon. I use Ovuline but not all of it. I mostly use it to track my cycle and any "symptoms". It kind of makes me feel productive - like I'm actually doing something during the horrid TWW.

I hope everyone enjoys a festive weekend :D

Must admit greentealeaf I do like the look of it for tracking symptoms. It makes me feel a bit more in control!! Do you have any idea as to why it is saying my most fertile days are the next 4 days even though it will be AF?

Also, am I right in thinking the first day of your AF is cd1? And is it only the day of full flow or does spotting count as cd1? Thanks in advance! GrinGrin

I wish I could answer for you but I am also very new to this and would be guessing. I'd say CD1 is the 1st day of AF and includes spotting. I'd also hazard a guess that the app is wrong in saying you're most fertile now as I gather you haven't OVd yet. It's all so complicated. These things are supposed to help, ha! I wish we could just press a button and become preggers - that'd be canny ;)

My partner told me recently that he thinks I'm getting obsessed lol and he's noticed that when I'm on my phone it's usually on this site. What am I suppose to say to that lol

Our biggest fear is that they realise how crazy this all makes us, so we hide away our little obsessed ways but it would seem I have been detected, so having to dial down on the craziness surrounding wanting a baby lol

Morning ladies, have a quick question, according to my clear blue digital ovulation stick, I ovulated last weekend. By counting my af should be due 5/6 dec, do you think that's long enough for a bean to stick?? It's 11 days. This wait is killing me now I'm that bit closer to poas!!!

Bex I have the ovuline app and all I bother putting in is periods and DTD, I love the fact that you get the bar chart telling you how fertile you are and the calendar is very easy to read! I also like the line graph that shows your fertility peaks and marks where on the line you've DTD... I'm a sucker for charts though! Not sure how accurate it all is but I think I'm like you in it just makes me feel productive :)

I'll join please. If my newly bought opks and tracking of my cycle are correct. I should be looking at a bfp result on the 25th dec.

AF is just stupid, started spotting on Thursday evening, lasted a little into Friday, but now all has stopped?? Still got the achy cramps that come hand in hand with AF, but nothing at all, not even when I wipe (sorry, tmi) what is going on?? I'm so confused Confused

Ummm bex I was going to say you count CD1 only from full flow of AF not spotting....now yours has stopped Im not sure?! could be implantation?? let us know what happens over the wkend Smile

I am DEFFO ovulating...both sore nips, ewcm and low tummy ache, its taken me a while to recognise this in my cycles but so glad its showing positive attempts at baby making just need to dtd again tonight!!!!

Hmm do you think so Lucy? Thank you for cycle info, will see what happens over the weekend, but I'm not hopeful that it's implantation bleeding, I have convinced myself it's just AF being an absolute tit and is so pathetic she can't even hit me full whack Wink then if it isn't AF and possibly something else (eek) then it will be a big bonus rather than a big slap in the face if I do it other way around Smile

Wow kirsty congratulations Smile that is mega early!!!

It could be implantation bex, your AF cramps sound like something is going on so fingers crossed it is a bubba settling down Smile its frustrating no knowing whats going on isnt it. Good idea to not get too excited just yet though!!! when are you due AF??
