Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Honeybear, thank you Smile I'm being completely irrational and very depressing today with my mood. I need to snap out of it. GET A GRIP SARA (before the fabulously positive ladies on here kick you off)

lucyfluff · 24/11/2013 17:43

PunkyPod · 24/11/2013 17:51

Sara, DD1 was a lucky first cycle baby and I had no symptoms at all. Just that AF never came. Symptoms only came for me around 5-6 weeks preg. Don't fret Smile

ImaginaryHat · 24/11/2013 18:01

There you go Sara lots of slaps and encouragement lol. It ain't over til its over and wayyy to early for you to tell so think positive!

Nice relaxing weekend here too. Visit from ma and pa Hat yesterday and totally lazy day today, not left the house all day!

Missvaughan85 · 24/11/2013 18:10

Evening ladies, well last night had a phone call from my Nain, yes I'm 28 but I still call her Nainy!! She is so dear to me. Can be a pain but love her all the same, well she told me that last month she looked at me and thought she in the early stages of pregnancy!! Bless her she was so wrong. But she then have me some advice and I thing all she said is true and just simple. It will happen when it happens and just enjoy the trying. But don't do it too often as it may stop it from working properly. Wise words from an old lady.

Lower pain have calmed today so Defo I pains.

SoMuchFruit · 24/11/2013 18:10

Shush now Sara! My DS was a 'one night only' offer between OH's work trips and I was totally non-symptomy (didn't think we'd managed it, only DTD once and too late for ov.. I thought!) Didn't realise/test until AF was 2 days late. So keep your chin up!

Cherie I am a bit confused by my EWCM this month too - it was here early, is still here 4 days later and showing no signs of disappearing just yet! Random. So I wondered how this usually works.

I don't usually have much in the way of EWCM so have been trying guaifenesin to improve it which has worked amazingly but now I am not sure if this is normal - maybe it is and I never had enough obvious EWCM to log the length of time it is here ?

SaraRB123 · 24/11/2013 18:27

Blimey, my ears are ringing from all that slapping...Shock

MundayCakes85 · 24/11/2013 18:34

Haha, love a virtual slap! And Nana advice!
My only excitment today was cracking my egg in the frying pan and it being a double yolk-er! Love that!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, I had a nice walk on the beach yesterday followed by a few glasses of wine. Today I did some chores and got into my PJs nice and early Smile

lucyfluff · 24/11/2013 18:46

BexBoo12 · 24/11/2013 18:53

ImaginaryHat · 24/11/2013 19:17

BexBoo12 · 24/11/2013 19:38

Whoop thank you everyone. Well, I've been lurking for a while, albeit silently, just getting my head round this whole ttc business! I'm almost 27, my OH is 32 (although mentally about 7, bless him) and we've been together 8 years - 9 years in May. We are trying for our first baby!! Yikes! We decided a while ago to try, but due to a few health issues only managed to come off the pill on 24th October (very precise hey!) I have read on here about opks so have been using them this month as haven't had AF in a while. I am now 7dpo (I think!), so when would I be due bfp/AF? Sorry, I'm a bit lost with this whole ttc lark!! Anyone else find it daunting?? Please say yes!

BexBoo12 · 24/11/2013 19:44

Oh dear I've just realised you asked for my stats, not my life story. Sorry ladies!

BexBoo12 TTC#1 cycle 1 bfp due maybe 1 dec? You might need to help me there ladies

Cherieblossom · 24/11/2013 19:58

Ok so update on my stats.

I was hesitating to start now as possibility of an August baby.
Decided to give it a go but only dtd long before ovulation as would love a DD after 2 DS.
From next month, lots of shagging but this one, just the one or 2 before O'.

sara relax!!!!
You are young, healthy and everything is well so it will happen! And symptoms can be VERY variable.

I read about EWCM, it can start up to 4-5 before ovulation. So that must be it!
When it stops, it means ovulation is over.

lucyfluff · 24/11/2013 20:04

It might be munday Wink fingers crossed!

Actually that makes sense cherie, Im CD10 and noticing ecwm slightly today.....oooo the things you learn hey girls!!!

PunkyPod · 24/11/2013 20:10

Hi BexBoo! As a rule if thumb you're going to expect your BFP 14 days after ovulation.
It's very overwhelming I have found. I've been thinking about dc2 for a very long time now but we have to wait because we get married in January. And even though we're now TTC it's still crazy we're trying to make a new person to live on this world! But it's so excitingggggggg!!!!!

BexBoo12 · 24/11/2013 20:14

Thanx punky...so would I be too early to test on Friday? I would be 12dpo on Friday, but lovin the idea of these poas stick parties...I don't want to test all on my own!! My lovely guy goes to work very early in the morning, before I'm even human so I would have to test on my own when I get up Blush

BexBoo12 · 24/11/2013 20:15

Oh punky that was a very self centred answer to your lovely reply...congratulations on getting married!! So very exciting, hopefully I will get to have that day soon too. But I'm so glad you said it's daunting for you too...I want a baby more than anything, but the idea of being solely responsible for caring for a beautiful baby is so very scary x

greentealeaf · 24/11/2013 20:18

Hey ladies. I'd like a ticket for the Dec bus if I may :) I'm new to TTC too. I'm 25 (26 next month - eep!) and partner is 27 and we've purchased our 1st family home together this year, maturity has hit us! Here are my stats: greentealeaf ttc #1, cycle 1, AF/BFP due 30/11 - 01/12ish. FX for us all and congrats to those who already hold that lucky BFP :) xx

BexBoo12 · 24/11/2013 20:27

Hello greentealeaf, come and take a seat by me, I'm new too Wink

DorotheaHomeAlone · 24/11/2013 21:14

Hey Sara, just popping in to say that I felt exactly like you did a couple of weeks ago. Was so convinced that I'd know if I was and certain we'd missed the date. When I got a bfn off an early test I felt silly for testing because I'd had no symptoms and just totally switched off my expectations. Was 3 days past my AF date before I even thought to test again! That's when I got my bfp. Still no symptoms though so now I'm worrying about ectopic etc. It's never ending!
