Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Evening ladies, congrats dorethea!! Lovely to see a bfp!!! Well still getting flashing smiles from clear blue, no solid yet, so dtd as much as possible. Still having pains low down. We'll see what happens. Oh and got flushes have started again. Disappeared when on bc but back now. I'm wondering what that's all about aswell!!

Can I just ask if you still have a period if you don't actually ovulate? I feel stupid asking like its obvious but I really am clueless, I'm convinced I'm not ovulating, but I must be if I eventually have a period? Is that right?

DearDinah I think you do still have a period if you don't ovulate. actually most women will have 1 or 2 anovulatory cycles now and again. I think temping is the way to go but I know you said you didn't have much luck last month (I know the feeling mine are all over the shop this month!) Are you getting any EWCM? This is a good sign if you are. Also with the OpKs I would definitely suggest doing more than one a day as you can easily miss the surge and convince yourself you haven't ovulated (exactly what I did month we got preggo with our angel!) the amazon cheapies are a faff but good if you want to repeat during the day. if you are really worried have you been to your GP? It's really easy to worry isn't it?

For more poas news, I've got my solid smile on cb opk this morning, dtd last night, so I'll make sure we cover the next week, just incase, this egg is slow at releasing, I don't want another long wait till af!!! I want a bfp!!!

AF has gone so going to start dtd every other day although it's to cold to take your clothes off in this weather!!
I'm not going to bother with opk this month because they just got me stressed last month so just going to relax and have some fun.

Soo, I opened the cb box and had a little read up on its sensitivity, it's 25miu. The superdrug one is 10 and only just got a line. I've just tested with my original 20miu cheapies and although there is a line, it is really, really faint. Should I give it a day or two before using the cb?

Wow, Fluffy that's brilliant news! I'd give it till Monday and retest. Assuming the 20 unit one just changed today, you should have twice that to measure in 48 hours, and 50 will definitely come up on your digi. We do the blood test versions at 2 day intervals at work to check that it's rising properly, you can't really tell with a shorter gap.

I'm now officially trying at last, on day 2 off the pills, so feel a bit behind iyswim? Still, it's looking a very lucky bus so far, hope it carries on for those of us testing nearer Christmas and new year!

Just got my apt through for a ultrasound (checking for cysts)...its not until 11th dec. I wonder if we get lucky this month they might see something then??

Hey Lucy, why are you having an ultrasound?? I'm debating whether to go to dr.s as these pains are strange and I've never had them before. But since coming off bc I'm having all manner of things, serious hot flushes, like I'm going through the change and pains in my lower abdomen.

Hey miss v, I had quite a bit of pain post mc....niggly stabby pain on one side (you prob remember me moaning about it!!!). Anyway its calmed down alot but the GP wants to scan for possible ovarian cyst?!

Is your pain still hurting? I had some pain after coming off bc when we dtd around ov time...is it the same time for you? Hot flushes may just be hormonal fluctuations getting back to normal for you
