Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Hi mama...DS2 is a fraud!!!! Well he had a temp over 100 this morning, dosed him up and now hes running around with number 3

Hello december bus, i'm still officially on the november bus but it is so hard at the end when it goes quiet. Anyway i just popped in to get a virtual slap from someone. I am cd 24 of a pretty regular 28/29 cycle. i piac and used an ic this morning bfn. Now I know i should wait til wednesday to test as that will be officially af late...but i'm driving myself bonkers with absolutely NO symptoms and wondering if i can continue to head into another year of ttc... Should i poas every day or stop and wait til wednesday. I need you to make decisions for me, i've lost it!

sazzle - I don't blame you, I piac this morning and af due tomorrow (came early) so I felt like a right wally! I would just say to yourself you're going to piac/poas on wednesday and that might make you feel a bit stronger about resisting in the mean time....?

Awh sazzle the wait is just too much I know!!! If you have tests in the house you will probably use them! :/ but if you have any willpower (I dont) then try and hold off.....but if it was me....id not be able to! I think the key is not to have the tests in the house.....if you do have them can you ask DH to hide them????

Aww flymo and mama thanks for your replies. I think i just needed to say it out loud - to admit i'm a bit mad now! I am going to try and hold off, luckily with a DS of almost 3 i rarely get to pee in peace anyway - i have to be pretty stealth when testing with opks!

So I might try the classic wee away fmu and then that leaves it for another day...and try and keep that up and see if i'm late on wednesday. I think because i ov on cd 16 i'll have a 29 day cycle.

If AF shows her ugly red face i'm taking a leaf out of your books and relaxing next month - no testing with my cbfm. There are so many nights out and DH has xmas parties with work probably around when he'd be 'needed' so i don't want to be agro because he is enjoying xmas and i need him back home for his swimmers - that is not the way to dtd!
I then will be able to not count down so easily and just wait and then probably test on the 25th!!!

I would piac daily until AF BUT thats because I am obsessed with doing it! Even non fmu some days :/ I guess it depends on how you feel, some people cant handle seeing a bfn and gey really down about it so you could just wait it out and sit on your hands if you dont want that feeling?! Im not being that helpful really, just think go with your gut feeling and feel free to rant on here with us....

Sazzle I think that sounds like a good plan! Get rid of that FMU before you can even think about it!!! I really hope you get your BFP this time tho....but if not I hope it is a Christmas Day BFP how exciting!

I'm Definately cutting out opks for this cycle! I don't want to know how many dpo I am it just makes 2ww even worse! Counting down the days wishing my life away....i just can't do it! I know that af is due around 12th December so ill just wait on its arrival and if it comes I have a girls night C'mas party on 14th so I can drink my own weight in wine and just enjoy Christmas without thinking about it all. I feel I need a break from worrying, plotting and planning!

agh! just worked out that for dec, I will prob ov on the day that my family come to stay! and then expect af on christmas day!! I hate the christmas evil red tide! have had it before, booooo

Flymo, don't worry about that! You can be quiet when they come to stay!! Where there's a will there's a way! And it's win win for you on Christmas Day....either a BFP wrapped up for DH....amazing!!! :) or you get to drink loads of festive drinks and have a real good time with the alcohol flowing ;)

It's funny how far in advance we plan.....i would be due af 12th Dec, then ovulating around Christmas Day with af due on DH Birthday! :/

Lucy DH is bringing home hot choc, mallows and cream to make me a special hot choc....that will cheer me up :) wish I could face wine tho but just couldn't :(

Ahh Flymo if i have a fail this month i will be due af/bfp christmas day. so i'm trying to think of it as mama says - either wrap up that +ve preggo test for DH or get leathered in front of the in laws to stop any annoying are you preggo looks/questions!!

gosh i'm so impressed by everyone who isn't OPK this month, I tried the "not thinking about it" approach last month and I think it made me worse! I hated not knowing if i ov, i became totally obsessed with cm! You ladies are amazing!

This month i'm OPK, started on CD10 but only CD12 now (determined that they will work this time!) and temping but once the big ov is out of the way I'm taking a leaf out of your books and not thinking about it!

Trying hard to pre-fill my 2ww evenings with lots to do, almost annoyed that i've been so well prepared for xmas because all my gifts are bought and wrapped! could have done with some of that as a distraction!

BFP due the day of the works xmas party so at least there's a free bar and all the xmas merriment to come.

Ladies I need your top tips for not thinking about it all!

So mama I suppose I need to wait for fmu with my impending superdrug hpt? I've done more jumping, still nada on spot-watch. Feel a tiny bit queasy and got a bit of a sicky feeling in the back of my throat, but I'm putting that down to nerves and uncertainty!

13dpo today, AF should be here tomorrow, has done ever since I started charting in feb! But always had at least two days of spotting prior. Just took my temp (pointless I know!) and it was 99.5, that's a bit warmer than usual? Or am I just seeing what I want to?
