Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

SMF soon as the test line is as strong as the control line or stronger then your due to ovulate within the next 36 hours! You will see the line building up in colour each day so get busy soon as you see the line getting stronger until it fades away!

Mama - my ttc guru - what do you feel about buying pg tests online?? Do you think they'll be ok? Worried about old stock etc but as long as they are in date they should be fine, right?

Somuch- yes they do but trust me, they're so easy, you'll read once and it'll all be fine x

Right.. I will give them a try in Jan if no BFP before then. Can't see myself wanting or remembering to pee on sticks coming up to Christmas!

So the positive picture - the second line will be as dark or darker than the top line (the control line is the top and your test line is the one nearer the bit you dip in your pee at the bottom). The negative examples are if there's no test line at all or if it's not as dark at the control line at the top. Does that make sense? X

Oh mama and somuch I hope so, I just hate being in limbo! I used one of these so they're pretty sensitive. Maybe it's too early? I keep wondering if FF has got my O date wrong, but having looked at my chart again for the millionth time I can't see that it's incorrect!

Somuch I used to use the cheapy strip ones from amazon when I first started using them but got so faffed off with having to piac that I use the midstream ones from amazon now. They're a bit more expensive but sooo much easier! And yes, they do come with instructions

It'ssofluffy...do you think it matters if you piac with those midstream ones? Does it make a difference to result? I have had to poas (not pg test) in the past, and let's just say I'm not very good at it...

Midstream = disaster in my world. PIAC is the way to go I think! Not dextrous enough for the mid-pee thing lol

I dunno if 20miu is the most sensitive of tests is it ? I think there are more sensitive so maybe you are testing too early with that kind ?

I always piac no matter what test I use....just in case it comes up positive and I need to dip again.....and again.....and again to confirm :/

Amazon do 10miu sticks that look exactly the same as the opks i put on here but are blue where as opks are green

No sara I always used the 10miu blue sticks you said about! They are the most sensitive ones

lol Im only piac too, after peeing too much on a CB digi and it went into error message !!! stupid things!!! I buy the 10miu ics from amazon....they did shiw up last pg

Bah, didn't see those 10miu ones before! It's probably a bit too late for this cycle by the time they would arrive. I do have two cb digis waiting at home but I'd rather use them as a back up once I see a bfp Unless anyone lives in Hertfordshire that fancies dropping one round later

I think pretty sure I'm losing the plot; I'm jumping up and down before I go to the loo so I can 'dislodge' any potential spotting, but there still isn't any.

I got bored of piac, mainly because of the whole letting it get to room temperature but not leaving it too long blah blah - I'm too impatient!

Itssofluffy! I just piac and dip the stick....dont think it matters really! well all good that your spotting is staying away!!!!! :) visions of you jumping up and down before going to the loo!! Hahaha!!

Ah, see my instructions say to let it get to room temp, such a stickler for instructions me! I just love the simplicity of the midstream ones though and no peeing on fingers

I've just seen that the superdrug ones are around 10miu, just bloody been in there too! Should I pop in there on the way home and get one for tomorrow morning if AF doesn't show?
