Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Woodwaj he doesn't know exactly but we have had conversations that he will have a sibling at some stage! Hope your not getting the cold....i have a terrible head cold....meh!

Dtd in our house is usually bed time, the occasional morning dtd but not very often.

Well girls, I can't tell anyone else yet as it's bit common knowledge in his work, but DH has got a new job today!!! So excited and pleased and proud!! And just so friggin happy!!! Feel like a bit weight has been lifted and don't feel so worried about money now when maternity leave eventually comes!!

We'll have to have a celebratory dtd session tonight!!

Oh and those pains I was having last month have reared their ugly head again, I've just got constant af type pains low down!! What is going on???

That's good I can imagine a DS would prob be much cooler about it than if it was a DD.

Thanks mama and wood, he's playing it very cool. Don't think it's sunk in yet, the pains are strange, there the same as I had prior to af, for three weeks, then af came 2 weeks late, if they continue its another trip to the dr's.

AF arrived today and I am gutted, was sure it would happen this month. Maybe next time......

Oh my god. Took your advice and poac. It's positive. I am literally shaking. Showed my dh and neither of us can believe it so we've bought another couple of tests to do. I am in total shock. I've had no symptoms at all and thought we'd missed of date last month. This feels totally surreal.

Barmy that will be so nice for you to get an extended period of time together then after all that time apart. Yeah I think it is af on the way not ov, due at the weekend if it arrives on time. Not really been able to tell if I've ovd in November as my opks have been positive for the last 3 weeks after mc so not too sure. Hpts still v mildly positive but almost gone now so hoping opks will go back to normal soon too. We've not dtd at all so just waiting for af to show up so we can start again after that.

Been on a massive Christmas shopping spree tonight, made a big dent in it and everything else I reckon I can get online. I love crimbo so much but can do without shopping chaos in December!

I've only bought dad and step mum presents so far as seeing him at wkend. I'm not very organised, and working almost every weekend so not much chance of dragging DH around the shops. Thank god for the Internet!

Forgot my stats earlier: I'm 28, DH is 30. We've been together 5 1/2 years- met in Australia, married for 7 months. This will be our first child, would love 2 or 3 but just hoping we can get lucky soon!

Those who have experienced it what does implantation feel like?

According to my calculations I will Ov this month while we are away on holiday so hopefully some nice relaxed DTD might help take the pressure off and give us our BFP this month!

I feel like I'll get AF today then I can start focusing on this month. I've had a horribly stressful couple of weeks at work but hopefully it will all calm down a bit now.

Sorry, Newly, I don't know about it as had neither pain nor implantation bleed with DS.

A spa break sounds lovely.. especially as I have woken up to the Ice Age outside.. it's beautiful but FREEZING!

Further prodding investigation makes me think I am ov earlier this month. Maybe this has been going on every month and I didn't know ? CP is the fabled S.H.O.W this morning. DTD last night so hope OH is upto it again tonight as my plan is to DTD every day while S.H.O.W is present.

I always thought I maybe ov'd a bit late.. maybe I've been wrong and it's been early! The Veno's is working too.. lots of EWCM!

Thats interesting about veno's how much and often are you using it?

Its freezing here again and I have DS2 off school with a temperature so lots of snuggles on the sofa today!!!

Can I please join, this is cycle 5 trying for baby number 2, my bfp should be due on 10th December. I am tempting and charting, but something weird is going on, I got af as normal last week, but my temps haven't dropped, they are still high but all tests negative. :-s today's was 36.89!

Ok so the control freak has left the building......had a chat with DH this morning and we have decided not to opk this cycle either.....i don't even want to know when I've ovulated this month! so stress free, enjoying Dec and dtd as we like! :)

woodwaj - I sort of take the reccomended dose on the bottle for a cough! Dunno if I should take more or less so went with that. It's 10ml 3 x day but I usually forget at lunchtime so more like 10ml 2 x day.

I noticed the difference last month when I was actually taking it for a cough. Googled the ingredients and found lots of USA results for the same basic chemical but in the US it comes in tablet form (Mucinex)

Am surprised at the amount of EWCM, far more than I usually have and much more than Evening Primrose Oil created - I was taking EPO for another reason, not ttc, but as it is supposed to create more EWCM I was interested and noted it. Or not, as it didn't do that much for me.

Mama that sounds like a plan .. that's what I plan if no BFP this time.. Christmas time.. no overthought TTC plan. Eat, drink (maybe a sneaky smoke) and be merry!
