Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Am loving the stats on everyone! Hollyben really lovin that I'm not the only over 35 on here! How about Warm Winter Pimms with Brandy (Had some at the weekend and oh how I wished it came in pints!)

Im 27 so is OH ttc no.1 for as long as I can remember ive wanted a girl and changed my mind as soon as we started trying!! Would be happy either way though as I have pcos and am struggling to get my BFP. Ive only ever wanted 1 and we have just moved into our perfect 'family' home

And ive also just got OH age wrong, hes 28 and im a good girlfriend ha!!

I'm 32, DH is 34. Been together 12 years and married for 5 years.
Trying for number 1, would love 2 children don't mind whether they are boys or girls. Just want to fill our home with the lovely and not so lovely smells of newborn babies!

I'm 39, DH is 40, we met when we were 35. We have DS who is 13 months, and would love a number 2- boy or girl. (Or twins!!). If I was 10 years younger would live to gave had 3 or 4! But looking unlikely now! I'll also give the contraception a miss if we are lucky enough to have a number 2!!

I'm a teacher too and aiming for aug/sept/oct. But if I fall pregnant soon then i won't be entitled to occupational mat pay as i'm starting a new job in Jan so it affects it unfortunately. I've gotten so excited about it now though I don't want to wait. Got some savings that we'll have to dip into!

Ok. I'm 34, DP 37. Ttc no 1, ideally like 2 or 3 but will see. DP wants 2 not 3 I think though!

As an aside, I'm feeling a bit Christmas Eve ish just now. But instead of sleeps to Santa I'm counting down the last two pills to ttc! Exciting time!

I work away from home 4 nights/5 days a week so I'm completely freaked out that its going to take forever to conceive so have already become obsessed with everything! have started temping and OPK last month in preparation for the honeymoon

I'm 32, hub 33, have one DS who is 23 mo. Would probably pick to have a girl next if pressed just so I can collect the set but really, I'm not fussed.

So TTC no 2, cycle 3, BFP due 2nd dec!

I've been halfheartedly charting this month and doing OPKs, got a good positive on Monday. DTD loads. However OPK positive wasn't until cycle day 28!!! Last month my cycle was 41 days, before that was 32 days. Looks like I'm going for another 45 dayer!

I went berserk TTC no 1, I was miserable, pining, convinced myself I was infertile etc etc, temping, OPKing, supplements all over the place etc. only took 6 minutes but felt like a lifetime! Much more relaxed this time round, partly because I just don't have as much time to think about it!

Winter pimms and brandy you say rubyshoe hhmmmm wondering whether some pimms might accidentally fall into the shop tomorrow...

Evening everyone, just popped my head in to see what I've missed...and well I've missed loads. So first off hello to new bus riders!! Ruby shoes I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope you get your extra special bfp before Christmas

My stats if you want them:
I'm 26- nearly 27, OH is 32, we've been together for 9 years, engaged for 3 but no wedding as yet - it was booked 2 years ago but a few weeks before the wedding my dear dear grandad passed away (no dad growing up so he brought me up) and was so devastated that I couldn't go through with the wedding. Thinking of eloping after Christmas - we will see how things go here first!!

I'm 27, DH is 29. We have been together 12 years, married for 2.5 years. We spent our entire relationship until we got married in different countries/part of the country depending on the year as we went to uni, worked and travelled backwards and forwards. DH has then deployed to Aghanistan four times in the last 2.5 years, spending around 18 months of our marriage over there. He has also been away endlessly in between. We are about to move across the country again and actually be in the same place for a whole year! Trying for number 1, would like 2 or 3. He would love number 1 to be a boy. I would be delighted with either, but if we are lucky enough to have both in time, I would really like number 1 to be the boy, no idea why!

Oooh starting to feel some pre-af like feelings, lil bit achy and mildly crampy, not v often I'd want to celebrate this but really hoping it means af is going to arrive as normal this cycle and not go awol like yours did Lucy. Still showing very faintly positive on hpt but nearly gone now. Hopefully by the time af has been and gone it will be fully negative and ready to start on the December bus. Onwards and upwards!

Sara that's so sad about your grandad, totally understand why you wouldn't want to carry on with the wedding. Eloping next year sounds exciting though!

Barmy it must be really hard for you being apart so much, although it sounds like you're very used to it, I bet it just seems ordinary to you! Will be lovely to get a good run of time togethetogether , and also v helpful for ttc!

Yay stats! DH and I are both 30, been together 12 yrs and married 3. I would like two or three kids, though DH once tactfully said he "doesn't see the point of a third child" (bearing in mind I am a third child!!) I would really like a girl although happy with either of course! Ooh winter pimms sounds lovely - there are some good things about winter then!

I am 38, DH is 36 and DS is 4. We were late-ish starters - we were together 14 years before we got married and had a baby in the same year! We have loved having just DS but now (hopefully not too late) we realise we really, really, want another.

(So, HollyBen - you needn't feel ancient on your own! According to everything I read, fertility-wise I am a dinosaur..)

Can you ov earlier than the calendars/apps say ? Or have I complicated matters with my SnakeOil remedies (Venos!)

So it's CD 12 here on the Del Monte Plantation (Fruit.. Del Monte..See what I did there )

I am a converted CP prodder checker. Yesterday, 'lotiony' CM and Med high and high soft CP. This morning, Med position, very soft and EWCM. I should according to all the calculators ov on Monday/Tue.

Now the SnakeOil shouldn't affect CP but is the early EWCM a result ? Or I am actually Ov'ing much earlier than I thought I would ? How would a girl know ??

SMF are you using opks?? If not then you won't know really so I'd suggest that you get shagging to be on the safe side!!!! ;)
