Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Agree Rubyshoe, so sorry to hear that. Hope Dec brings lots of lovely BFP's :)

Karmalaa · 19/11/2013 16:03

Welcome aboard Rubyshoe

mama31 · 19/11/2013 16:26

Mulled wine anyone??? Yum!

Rubyshoe · 19/11/2013 16:43

Ooh large vat of the stuff for me please. Don't put it in too small a container, I might get overtaken by the urge to pee in it!

ImaginaryHat · 19/11/2013 16:51

Mulled wine for me too please!

Ruby so sorry to hear your story, welcome aboard and the best of luck to you.

Mama last cycle was the only one Ive not done opks (and only cos I ran out) and it was the one month that ended in a bfp of sorts. however I hated not knowing what was going on, it drove me crazy, so going to use them this cycle, but otherwise just try and relax and have a good time - eat, drink, dtd and be merry!

lucyfluff · 19/11/2013 16:52

Hi rubyshoe, so sorry for your loss this year Sad come aboard and join our crazy bus for xmas Grin

Im liking your plan this month mama, out with the pineapple and in with the mince pies lol! Maybe this more relaxed approached will be the one Smile

We are 'officially' starting again tonight Wink AF has left the building hopefully not to return for another nine months!!!!!

KitKat1985 · 19/11/2013 18:15

Hi. Just wanted to say sorry to hear your loss Rubyshoe - can't even imagine how horrendous that must have been for you. Thanks Wishing you lots of luck on the December bus!

Working on the basis of my last bleed after coming off the pill, (even though I know it's not a 'proper' period, but will do for rough estimation purposes) today is CD13, so nearly heading into the dreaded 2WW. I don't think I ever realised before how frustrating the whole waiting business is when TTC. I've been off work the past two days and have spend far, far too much time reading internet articles on pregnancy and driving myself mad and wandering into Mothercare today just because I'm feeling broody. I definitely need an distraction. After payday at the end of the week I think I'm going to focus on getting the Christmas shopping done and other festive things. I work as a nurse and have worked the past couple of Christmases so am very excited to be off the whole of Christmas week this year. It's going to be like Christmas on steroids at my place! Grin What are you lovely ladies going to be doing to distract yourselves the next few weeks?

ImaginaryHat · 19/11/2013 18:16

Have fun Lucy Wink

ImaginaryHat · 19/11/2013 18:28

Hey KitKat, it sure is a lot of waiting! It is an ideal month for distraction though, so like you will be filling it with Xmas shopping, Xmas markets, wrapping, writing cards, scranning loads of lovely food and drink, and general merriment! Whether it will stop me symptom spotting or not is another matter, but worth a try eh!

woodwaj · 19/11/2013 18:42

So sorry for your loss Ruby. If anyone gets a BFP I hope its you :)

Lovely to see all the festiveness, I am also going to be spending some of my 2ww at the Christmas markets!! I did my shopping a month ago!! and will be continuing to decorate our new house! Plus getting my fix of I'm a celeb!

I am swapping the fizz today, Just got ID'd buying some Dandelion & Burdock!! Hmm

DaisyDoo44 · 19/11/2013 18:44

Hello all!
Seem to spend my life waiting and waiting then always feel I miss the critical moment - arggghhh!
Got +ve opk yesterday (mon) - we DTD sat, mon and hopefully tonight! Is that enough???
Just can't believe this is cycle 11 and we're always waiting waiting for the big moment then it's all over and past so quickly then back to waiting.....
God I wish this was more scientific or like a big test you could swot for or something!
kitkat definitely going to be focusing hard on Christmas for the next 2 weeks to distract! Presents, train tickets and cards galore! Not sure what else to fill it with...?

mama31 · 19/11/2013 18:45

Lucy! Excellent news! I sure hope that is your last af for 9 months ;) that would be amazing :)

Imaginary, feel I've kind of tried everything else....and really don't want ttc to take over my life anymore, who knows what is around the corner....i just feel the need to live life to the full and that's what I'm going to do :)

Kitkat, I will be shopping lots!!! Going out with friends to parties/lunches/dinners/Christmas markets! Decorating my house like Santa's grotto haha!!! Wrapping presents! Drinking mulled wine/hot chocolate!! Watching Christmas movies (the holiday yay!), listening to all the Christmas music channels, watching box sets, eating chocs!!! Etc etc

Now if I have time to symptom spot amongst all of that......then I really do have a problem!! :/

mama31 · 19/11/2013 18:50

Daisy sounds good to me!!! I know what you mean though, the fact it only takes one swimmer.....but it seems to difficult for them to find their way :/ think they need to go to specsavers!!!!!

Woodwaj wow you must look young! :) can I be cheeky and ask your age??? I love getting asked for Id(doesnt happen very often) also love that you finished your shopping last month! I'm jealous!!! I thought I was organised! I'm planning to finish mine this week, then going to wrap everything and put under the tree soon as it's up 1st December :) can't wait!!!!!

woodwaj · 19/11/2013 18:55

I was being ultra organised! It took me till about April this year to recover from the costs of Xmas last year so not having that again!! Only one to buy now is my dad, What to buy the man that has EVERYTHING!!

Im 27! so no way near 18!! Maybe his eye's were just bad seen as he thought D&B was beer!!

mama31 · 19/11/2013 19:02

Haha!!!! Well it's always nice to be asked!!! I know what you mean Christmas really does need to be done gradually or its pure bankruptcy!

lucyfluff · 19/11/2013 19:09

Thanks ladies...and hope its lucky for everyone else on the bus Smile I will TrY not to symptom spot :/ and will be pretty busy with crimbo, have been buying/wrapping for a few weeks so its slowly getting done.

Its so expensive, we have switched supermarkets....and have managed to save nearly 40 a week towards xmas. Once we have done it though Im going bk to online shopping lol cant cope with saturday shoppers being stressed!!!!

woodwaj · 19/11/2013 19:12

Its more of xmas parties that get me! We have 3 in one week at work, and i've got tickets for the big re-union the same week, best phone the bank in advance!!!

woodwaj · 19/11/2013 19:16

That's a great saving Lucy!! Defo feeling the pain of Saturday shoppers!

Welcome aboard to the new ticket holders!

Rubyshoe, I'm so sorry to hear about your precious daughter. Fingers crossed for you this cycle.

mama31, I think you are onto something there. This b6 is disgusting stuff, I tried to change it to b complex combined pills and couldn't swallow the stuff! I'm now on CD21 and although have plenty of ewcm, so sign of OV.

I was all hopefully last week that this would be the cycle as I thought I was ovulating earlier, seemed like a good sign. Negative opks & low cbfm still though and I'm now not impressed. If this isn't the cycle, I've decided to hell with it all next month and it can all just languish in the cupboard - b6, opks, cbfm, pineapple and all. I hate this process!

mama31 · 19/11/2013 20:42

Barmy it's so annoying isn't it!! That's why I'm determined this month not to let it get to me! I'm just going to dtd when we feel like it and not trying anything new that could aid conception as I believe if it's meant to be it will be....whether I eat pineapple or take b6....the only way it's going to happen is if it is God's will!

barmybunting · 19/11/2013 21:49

Mama, I think that is the way to go about it. It's nearly impossible to know what will and won't help I reckon, so leaving it up to nature seems like a much less stressful way. I don't know how that may feel another year down the line though, but I guess we have to wait and see.
