Our brand spanking new thread full of luck, baby dust, BFPs and a few choice swear words.

The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Totally understandable to feel worried nerdy. Hope an early scan will put your mind at rest.

Hope AF turns up soon for those who are waiting. Mine arrived 5 weeks to the day after my ERPC.

It's totally understandable to feel the way you do sundance. I'm not sure I could handle a pregnant friend staying with me at the moment so I think you're being very brave. It also seems so unfair that we have to go through this shit three times before anything can be done!

I can't remember who asked about our puppy but she's a miniature schnauzer and we pick her up on Saturday. I can't wait! It's the first time I have felt genuine enthusiasm for something since the MC. Am hoping it will be a good distraction and I can focus on looking after her and loosing some weight (I am trying to loosely follow slimming world) and have lost half a stone in the last 7 weeks so I'm making progress!

From stopping bleeding to AF turning up was 3 weeks, I stopped bleeding 5 days after I finished the practical aspect of miscarrying

AF turned up for me about 3 weeks after erpc. BUT, that was an erpc to get rid of retained products, 4 weeks after actual mc. So 7/8 weeks all up.

10dpo today. No temp drop - if I'm not pg this will be the first time that my temp hasn't dropped by day 10. Also I'm feeling shattered every evening and unable to do anything except blob on the couch, and also STARVING and v emotional. All of those things are adding up to make me think that maybe this is the month....
But I still think that the evil witch is just toying with me, to make it even more depressing when she shows.

My af was 4 weeks post erpc to the day. My cycles were initially regular and since have gone a bit crazy! I thought it was the norm other way round but not the case for me...

i will poas tomorrow, fingers crossed!

I am off on my break. And lo and behold ewcm has appeared whilst away from dh on cd22. So this month is a write off. So disappointing.

aly that sounds good. POAS tomorrow would be a good idea. I am still taking my temperature and it's stayed high. I had a couple of dips at 6 and 11 dpo and got BFP on 13 dpo.

triple sorry you're not getting a chance to DTD, but hopefully this at least means you're ovulating.

I went to the dr this morning and have a midwife appt on tuesday. The dr couldn't recommend an early scan, but said the midwife might want to do one quite soon as I don't have a useful LMP date for dating the pregnancy.
Apparently the local hospital has a walk-in session for their EPU so I might be able to go there. It is still too early to see anything, so I will just have to wait.

Also caved and bought two more pregnancy tests. Nice dark line appeared. I had been using OPKs! Going to order some more cheapies as for me I find it easier to think 'I am pregnant TODAY' if I have a line on a test.

AF arrived for today on day 33 after a 26 day cycle last month! So the space of two months I've had my shortest ever and longest ever cycle.

This month and last month ff said that my cycles were anovulatory yet my blood tests last month said that I was ovulating and I'm getting ewcm and +opks.

I officially have no idea what is going on!!!! Nerdy you are giving me hope though!

I'm really trying not to get hopes up as I'm either cd7 or 14dpo depending on whether last week was af or random bleeding will either poas tmrw or sat if actual af hasn't arrived. At least if it is bfn and af doesn't arrive I know I'll be close to ov time again!!

Oh bum aly that's so crap.

nerdy congrats and hope you get an early scan soon. I wonder when the worry stops. We have kind of been robbed of a pregnancy without worry.

Some were asking about af's after mc. On both occasions mine came back 28 after both miscarriages which I thought was good but tbc it has taken 6 months for the ore AF spotting to reduce and my periods to be more like before. Gp said that's pretty normal.

Well looks like its ovulation day for me. DTD last night and 2 days before that. Is it worth doing it again tonight or have I done enough. Sore side all day so I presume the egg has popped.

Really want to be up duffed before my 2nd mc due date (Xmas day) and before I am 36. Oh and before gp refers us for tests which will be start of 2014.

Can I just say I am normally an excellent speller. Silly phone lol. - hope my previous post makes some sort of sense.

Im hoping to test tomorrow. Despite everything being rubbish, I managed to dtd in the run up to ov and had awful ov pain so at least I'm clear I did actually ovulate. Af was due today but I'm not putting too much faith in that as its my first cycle post mc so it could be different. Anyhow, I'll be 10dpo tomorrow which is a good time to test.

I am feeling really down tonight as my very small amounts of bloody CM which I thought was AF has now stopped I have a GP appointment next Tuesday by which point it will have been almost 10 weeks since my mc. We are off to a family get together tomorrow so there will do doubt be lots of "when are you having another" comments. I so hope DH offers to drive so I can at least consume vast amounts of

nerdy you are right, at least the ewcm may point to possible ovulation. Here's for some posifrickentivity. Good to hear about your dark lines. Hopefully you can get reassurance at your early scan.

Bfn for me today :( Who knows what's going on this cycle! I just can't imagine ever getting a bfp or even being a mum. Sorry I'm just moping but after over two years I'm wondering if I need a new life plan!

i didn't even bother testing as my temp had plummeted this morning and AF seems to have started.
trying to look on the bright side:

1. every month postponed means another 4 weeks of maternity pay in my new job next year
2. the new jeans I bought last weekend will now get another months wear

still, I cried over breakfast this morning.
plan for this month: going to get the expensive conception plus tablets for me and DH.

triple what are you saying in response to the questions? I usually try and be honest and say that we'd like another, but after 1 mc it seems to be taking a while.

missp that sounds like enough dtd. I hope that this one sticks.

to make things worse, have just opened up my email to find a birth story sent from a friend who just had her second kid. this morning.

We managed to DtD last night - it was a struggle TBH. FF aNalyser says high chance of conception so now the waiting begins.

Sorry to hear of all the BFNs. There may still be hope if AF hasn't yet put in an appearance.

2 years TTC sounds awful floweroct I can't imagine how you are feeling. I really hope you get BFP soon. A friend if mine spend 4+ years TTC, had multiple mcs, an eptopic and failed IVF. She has finally got there and is due any day. Fingers crossed for you.
