Congratulations. Jaykay. xx
V.Jones. Not sure how to put this as I do not want to hurt anyone's feelings but I do get where you're coming from when you say you feel envious of all the B.F.P's because rightly or wrongly I am the same even though I am pleased for them. However at the moment it's too early for me to be envious as I could still be pregnant as A.F is not due yet. I don't hold myself out much hope though if any as I've had no symptoms. I am on C.D 22. You do get fed up. You'd be robotic if you didn't. However I am also anxious about getting pregnant in case it's took away again.
Sorry for the moan and what would look like self pitty. Ready to put my happy face back on now. xx

life - Having no symptoms doesn't mean anything as some women fall pg and don't have them for ages. Besides, I had loads of 'symptoms' this time and got a bfn! Think that's a blessing in disguise because it means I won't symptom spot so much this time :)

Report
lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 20/10/2013 11:06

Hi V.Jones. I never thought of that. I mean it's certainly not unheard of for women to give birth without ever knowing they where pregnant so obviously they had no symptoms and must have still been having periods. xx

Report
VJONES1985 · 20/10/2013 11:08

Well, stopping periods is obviously the main sign women get that they are pg and as soon as af arrives, I know I'm not pg and get ready to start a new ttc cycle. It's extremely rare to get periods whilst pregnant. But it's other symptoms vary from woman to woman, such as nausea, headaches, heartburn, sore boobs, etc, so don't get hung up on them.

Thanks mrsb. Lots of info in there so long post much appreciated.

vj sorry you're feeling down and fed up. I'm on cycle 11 (sorry I'm always saying that) but I get so excited for veryone else. Try to think of it as everyone who gets pg on here tells you something you maybe didn't know and are def rooting for you! Also, every month you're not pg means that the next month you're statistically more likely to be pg next month ... Ifykwim

I dunno if that helps. I hope it does. You'll be missed if you're not around but we'll all be hoping you get upduffed regardless!

m33r · 20/10/2013 11:17

Also vj at cycle 4, you've got to 2 months within the stats to get pg... Hang in there!

Sorry to jump in here M33r while you are talking to V.J but can you honestly say you never ever get even the slightest pang of envy of all the B.F.Ps If you don't then that's beyond admirable but by the same token it wouldn't make you the devil if you did. x

Hello al, back for a proper read and catch up - DH was talking at me earlier hence my slightly rushed post!

Hi VJ - so sorry you are feeling low. I know what you mean about taking a break - i have been much less active on here this time. I sometimes think it fuels my craziness. It is good to try to take a step back though, if you can. I am working on the principle that yheres no reason it won't happen and am giving it 6 cycles before i start to 'worry' in theory...

Jaykay and Mrsb - huge congratulations to you both!! How exciting!!

writer i just don't know about testing. I was so sure AF had got me wednesday but literally nothing since thursday morning. And what i did have wasn't heavy. So if that was spotting i am now officially late.

I don't want to get my hopes up. We only dtd twice i think and i am not certain when i ov - just go by average for my cycle length.

Symptoms -

Felt nauseous on tues/weds cd22/23
Headachey all last week
Also had 3 poops in a day (unheard of)
Tired
Dizzy friday a few times.
Poss implantation bleed weds/thurs - pinky discharge then brown stuff. Started weds, gone by thursday mid morning. Nothing on pad just a bit in loo and on loo paper when wiping.

Af due yesterday.......

choccy I mean the vast majority of people - can't remember what the percentage is - get pg in first six months.

VJONES1985 · 20/10/2013 11:23

Choccy - Glad I'm not the only one :)

Notta - I thought about waiting until cycle 6 before I worry as well... but now I'm on cycle 4 and thinking, "Only two cycles away from having to worry about things! Oh no, perhaps there is something wrong! Argh!"

Do a test Notta

Despite me and hubby having had a timetable of planned sex to centre around my predicted ovulation date, it appears that all of that sex was pointless! From all my dating scans it appeared I ovulated 4 days earlier than I predicted and we actually conceived from a 'just for fun' shag that we'd had one evening much earlier in the week than our planned TTC sessions Smile

There is no logic to anything so just because you only 'DTD twice and not sure about ovulation' doesn't mean you can't be pregnant! Grin

Think 80% of women fall within 6 months and 90% within a year.

writer When you say you ov earlier than expected, what were you basing that on? Did you have ewcm or other ov signs?

life I wish I was pg more than anything in the world and when other people get BFPs I think I wish that was me but more BFPs on here won't affect whether I get a BFP or not. Others' BFPs are fantastic and the more there are, the more I think 'that person was distraught last month, now look at them; that's me next I hope' gilly for example was an inspiration to me when she got BFP. Also to be very clear, I was not trying to tell vj what she shouldn't or should feel just the angle I take on things which has got me this far ... With some agonising lows and desperation the like of which I've never known. Again, others' BFPs make me feel better at these times.

m33r · 20/10/2013 11:30

Thanks for confirming the stats vj. I'm 90%likely to be pg this or next month. If you were a gambler, I'd be your bet. That's what I'm clinging to.

I hope my last post made you feel better - that's what I was going for. Sorry if it didn't!
