I'm glad you're also nuts - 3dpo - are my nips a bit sore! NUTTER! My little fertilised egg won't even be out the tube yet never mind grabbing on!! :-)

Ladies....can I ask when the best time is to poas?

I have read lots about this on here and I know its best to wait until af is due or later but I'm not sure when mine is due....but I think next weekend! I also think I may have ov'd about the 11th......I hate waiting lol.
I've just ordered some frer tests and the cb digital ones from Amazon, I just know I'll be bursting to use them as soon as they arrive!!

Also....I've been really sick for the past couple of days and tired, maybe its a bug but this ttc thing makes you over analyse everything!!!

Hi spinning you can poas from 10dpo so 21st for you but I wouldn't recommend this. The guidance (I think) is poas from 14dpo so for you 25th. I'd try to hold off as you can get lots of maybes - ie is there a line; isn't there -!false negatives which are soul destroying (cause it's too soon to tell) or you pick up a chemical pg which won't stick and then are gutted. But some people prefer to poas as it passes the time and where a BFP is coming, you just get it sooner. All personal choice but supposed to 14dpo... Or when AF is late.

Sorry for a numptie question - what is a chemical pregnancy?

Still feeling periody, achey hips are a dead giveaway. Maybe my cycle is just lengthening.

I think a chemical is when you get a positive test, but it doesn't implant properly. So you lose it very early on.

Im sure someone more sensible with a more accurate explanation will be along.

VJ and Life, I think we have all felt like that when others got their bfp's, its hard not to when it's something you want for yourself. Just remember you will get your bfp's, it may take longer than you want but you will get there Flowers

VJ I know you have short cycles, but at least they are regular so soon after coming off the pill. Maybe try and think that it could take upto a year, and if it happens before then it's a bonus.

I'm so glad I used opks this cycle, we kind of followed smep dtd 3 days in a row then skipped a day.

I had another symptom the last couple of days, which was a really bitter taste in my mouth.

Mrs b Ive joined. Please come over....I feel lost on my own!

How's your symptoms. I only got out of bed at 2. I felt exhausted and kept falling back asleep. I then had to get up as I was so hungry!
I felt ok for about an hour after eating..but have felt so sick ever since. Uurrrrggghhh! How can this have begun so quickly after getting my BFP?!

Have you told you OH yet?

I've just got in from visiting my sister and for a very large portion of my drive home I was behind a car that had the letters 'BFP' at the end of its registration plate!! It put a huge smile on my face and made me think positive thoughts towards all you ladies Smile

Notta a chemical pregnancy is a very early loss (prior to 6 weeks). It can be due to abnormalitites or not attaching or influences such as smoking.

Its often that a positive is given followed by bleeding or a negative test a few days later. My GP said they are more common than people think due to early testers and not waiting to late AF.

I didnt know what it was until it happened, and will not be testing until im late next time Grin

I've decided to never test using an IC ever again! The amount of evaps I got (yes I did poas alot!!!) was quite unbelievable so I'm going to try something new next cycle, something I have never experienced before....i think it is called....patience?!?! yes I think that's it!!! :/

So I will not be purchasing anything off amazon, I have enough opks for next cycle to keep me going so I shall refrain from buying IC's! And will hopefully wait it out next time until af is late or due! And will use FRER! (which I also will not buy until such a time).

The thing I hate the most now is that I've had one episode of brown spotting which I'd just prefer to go full flow in to af, but I will get random or very little episodes of spotting for the next 3 or 4 torturous days then af will arrive finally!!! I have horrendous pmt today mood wise, short tempered and emotional as well as heavy feeling in abdomen with af teasing it's arrival!!!

I wasn't going to post at all as don't want to bring you all down with my grumpy face! But thought I best make a public confession about not purchasing IC's so that some of you lovely ladies can help and influence me next month to try being patient and not to test early.

I wish you all well, if your still waiting to test! And will keep a lookout for the bfp's rolling in!!!! Apologies for the negativity! I do struggle when af is imminent! :/

Hey Jaykay I will come and join you! No symptoms today, but I have blue veins on my boobs, not sure if they always there or just because I'm looking for them! Yes told DH this morning, waved the test at him and said I'm pregnant lol

Mama I really hope you get your bfp soon, you're so lovely and cheer everyone up on here. You help make the 2ww go much quicker Flowers

mama I think you are being super sensible and I will keep you off poas (except opk). You are entitled to be fed up and not coming across as negative at all! Feel free to jump on here and rant about spotting for the next three days and anything after!

Jaykay, for some reason you're on the list as cycle 2, will get it changed.

Fwiw, just following on from what writer said about due dates etc and them dating you on the scans etc. When I conceived ds, my due date changed 4 times due to previous af, then I had an early scan due to a bleed, then my 12 week scan said something else (your proper dating scan), then I had another one due to a bleed which was another date, so I would really take it with a pinch of salt to which date they actually give you and trying to work out when you ov'd etc.
I didn't use any opks last time, but going off their date (I actually went into labour the day after his due day so they were pretty spot on), my and dh didn't actually dtd within 3 days either side of when I would've conceived.
It's all a guessing game so don't read into it 100%.

choccy - I know. its because I kept counting the first three cycles as cycle 1 as we kept missing our fertile window! Helped me mentally deal with it! Tried to make it feel like it took less time!
