Congratulations PandaB

PandaBear · 08/03/2004 14:01

Thank you all - I'm hugely excited, if a little apprehensive at this stage. I really it works out for each and every one of you as well - I'm sure it will. In the meantime enjoy your BDing, no doubt, I'll be off that for a while!!

bluestar · 08/03/2004 14:02

Azure, yes she did! B*h. Looking for an extra special christmas pressie this year!

BeckiF · 08/03/2004 15:39

We're getting a string of good news at the mo! Now we just need a long timer ttc (like me) to say that they've conceived against all the odds (sorry ... littly fantasy of my own there!). Healthy eating going OK, even though it makes my grumpy!! Lost 3lbs in less than a week, just another 2 stone 11lbs to go Then I can try a treatment

hana · 08/03/2004 16:01

congrats Panda Bear. Nice to see some positives this week! Enjoy your pregnancy!

hana · 08/03/2004 16:02

that's great Becki on losing the weight! YOu must feel good about that

Mum2Ela · 08/03/2004 16:02

Well done BeckiF - I think that is really good going in a week!

Azure · 08/03/2004 16:27

Hey, well done BeckiF

ChaCha · 08/03/2004 17:46

Wow, so much good news on this thread!
Congratulations to all BFP's!! :0 Any tips?
Well done on weight loss this week BeckiF.

ermentrude · 08/03/2004 19:43

Wow! There is quite a bit of good luck on this thread at the moment - congratulations!

Like many of you, I am still here, however! I am on CD22 now of the first month of temping. My temps are still lower than normal and no sign of ovulation according to Fertility Friend. I normally have roughly a 5 week cycle....any advice?

bunny2 · 08/03/2004 20:18

BeckiF, well done!

Ermentrude, if your cycles are 35 days, you mightnt ov till @day 23, this would still give you a normal length luteal phase. Dont give up yet. I ovd on day 19 this month, I was beginning to worry as last month it was day 17. FF havent noted ov or a cover line for me this month, my temps are all over the place as I tend to take my temp whenever I wake, it might be 5 6 or 7 am. Still, they sorted it out last month so I presume they will again.Persevere with it.

Thanks Bunny. Actually, I have a few 'signs' which I thik ncould be ovulation - EWM (I think! I am new to this!) and slight bloating, not stomach cramps, but certainly something different.

bunny2 · 09/03/2004 16:39

Ermentrude, I had so little EWCM but apparently still oved. I suppose we will get used to reading the signs after a few cycles (but of course we will both be pg by then ). Cant get to grips with the position of the cervix bit yet. I am CD21 with a 28 day clomid induced cycle. So, 7 more days till testing.

Hana, dont get obsessed with OPKs - did you see my thread on them at the weekend? I was running about like a headless chicken brandishing a pissy stick and trying to get a shag out if dh whilst we had a string of visitors. It was grim

How's everyone else?

Just found out a friend is 3 months pregnant. She wasn't even trying.

BeckiF · 09/03/2004 21:35

Thanks to you all for your kind words!! DP got us a takeaway tonight, love him!! As I type he is in the kitchen cooking up home made healthy dinners for me to take to work! How I adore him so!!

bluestar · 09/03/2004 21:40

futurity, its a bummer isn't it, I'm hoping that I won't here news of this sort for a while (had 10 people last year tell me and most have now dropped too).
BeckiF, what a wonderful husband!

ermentrude · 09/03/2004 21:42

Slight temp rise this morning - cd23. Also still other signs I mentioned yesterday. Does Fertility Friend add the 'lines' retrospectively?

bunny2 · 09/03/2004 22:03

yes it does. it will wait for 3 high temps before adding an ov line I think

Hello, just checking in with you all. Nothing much to report - I think I have just over a week to wait for AF so we'll see. Meanwhile, dh and I have a posh do to go to at the weekend, and I'm worrying about how much I'll probably drink. I can't really test that early can I. I really don't think there's much chance this month though (don't you have to have unprotected sex during your fertile time or something???) (I'm not intending to get completely legless but I imagine the wine will be flowing fairly freely).

Oh well, bluestar, sorry AF arrived. Maybe we'll all get fertile now spring is (nearly) here.

Well done Becki on going to your appointment and your weight loss. That's really good in a week.

And congratulations to PandaBear (I haven't been on much recently have I).

misdee · 10/03/2004 08:11

i think my body is playing tricks on me. AF started last week, bit early and not as long as normal, but for about 5mornings now i have been feeling very sicky. very much like motion sickness which i had with both my dd's. part of me wants to do a test(the hopeful part) but i keep telling myself not to be silly, its just not possible (sensible part). I can barely drink my tea, not good at all.

jellycat · 10/03/2004 08:55

Oooooer, misdee! Why is it impossible (I mean, could contraception have failed last month?). Well, you never know!

I keep getting headaches which is unusual for me at this time of the month (often get one the day before AF starts). Now I'm starting to wonder, but my head says it's probably just me being a worry-wort (lots of things going on in my life ATM which are making me a bit stressed).

misdee · 10/03/2004 09:00

what contraception? we are trying, but timings all out. or have i missed something? suppose could have had late ovulation, but why the bleed? was very much like normal except early. thought the sickness might be because i was tired so have been sleeping more, and also make sure i wear my glasses so my eyes dont ache, but still feeling bleugh.

bunny2 · 10/03/2004 09:10

Sounds hopeful Misdee, are you going to test?

Well, I've been spotting again 4 days DPO so I guess this cycle is shot. I wish my ob/gyn would take me seriously, I always feel I am getting fobbed off. Post ov spotting for a week before af is not normal and might explain my infertility and miscarriages but he just tells me to keep taking clomid. B*stard. It's our wedding anniversary and I dont feel like celebrating at all.

OP posts:
misdee · 10/03/2004 09:14

with my last 2 pregnancies the sickness/nausea started a few days before period was due. technical that would have been due this week, not last week. so i am utterly confused and undecided about testing. cant afford a test today anyway, unless i persuade dh to get one.

bunny2 · 10/03/2004 09:35

Poundland sells them for a £1 for 2 tests - do you have one of these shops near you?
