Just read your post. Tell me more. I can't remember what your Bfp story was. Read my post above. I'm in full downward spiral.

onelife & allchat I'm not certain when I ov'd but if it was CD14, I tested on dpo15, which was the day after AF was due.

3 days before that I thought I was out, as the cramps got strong!

I now wish I hadn't been strong and I tested everyday so I could've given all of you better stats! Next time, I promise I will pee on all the sticks, everyday

Allchat, feel your frustration, bfn's so horrid BUT I have def read on here of petiole getting bfns repeatedly and not getting bfp until 16dpo+, fx for you, hang in there

I'm using the same tests. No idea if they're any good. I use the same brand opks and they seem alright.

When are you due? Today or tomorrow? (I tend to have a 14day lp and then cd1 is dpo 15 iyswim).

one in four pregnant women get a false on day of af. so there still a decent chance for you.

Oh my!!!!! Panic!!!! Major congratulations to you!!!! :) :) :) I have been so hoping that those who have waited such a long time would get their bfp's! This is IMMENSE!!!! :) :) :) still praying for the others who have waited a long time and I am sure your time will come also :)

Congratulations panic - what lovely news to wake up to!!

jaykay - I'm sure you saw my message to you yesterday about how I didn't get my BFP until the afternoon of 14dpo which was also the day my period was due. I had even tested that day when I woke up with FMU which still came came as BFN and I just wanted to let you know, because I don't think I did in my last message, that it was an I.C test that I had used. So there is still hope for you x x

Have you tested with another brand? When I still suspected that I was actually pregnant despite the FMU BFN (long story) I went out and bought 2 other brands from ASDA as opposed to persevering with I.C (I think one was a FRER) and they both came back as definite BFPs.

Ok party preps done!!! Back on here for a general chat re dpo!!! On 7dpo (or pos 8dpo) today and not an inkling or twinge!! It is literally the most not pregnant I have felt so far! :/ it actually feels bizarre as I don't feel anything- no tiredness, no cramps, no sore boobs, no twinges, no bloat.....everything that I have felt before.....and nothing :/

Oh well, will be testing at the party tomorrow but pretty certain I ain't taking a bfp party bag home....but will be very very happy for those who do :) :) :)

Right the details dtd DPO 8, 10, 11, 12 and 14 (then DH went away for work) Snd it was the first month i didnt use opks. I have been feeling a little bit different and feeling nauseous when tired since DPO 10. AF was due yesterday.

Jaykay with previous pregnancies I didn't get a BFP until DPO 16 so I have my fingers crossed for you.

I haven't told DH yet as he has some old friends staying with us and defo thinks I have my AF as I was a gibbering wreck yesterday when I got cramps !!!

Arghh phone! When I did use Opks (which worked for me before) I used CB. Previously I had been really careful with caffeine and vino and this month as it was my birthday I wasn't! Also the only other thing was that I didn't do the legs in the air after dtd. I went to the loo after a couple of mins. My doc told me it didn't help and can just increase risk of infection. Hope that it helps x

Jaykay, with ds I didn't find out until cd39, I wasn't using opks so I don't know how far past ov I was. My previous 2 cycles were 35 and 28 days after coming off the pill.

Do you think this might impact how early I'll see a result?
I presume hcg in wee is the stuff rejected by your body. So if your body is much bigger...would it absorb/retain more and not reject it into your wee?

my brain is going round and round....please slap me if this is insane!

ps I know being overweight will probably impact likelihood of me falling pregnant....but I'm just interested on if I AM pregnant if theres a potential impact to the tests?

I wouldnt have thought it would make any difference, after all your blood volume is the same regardless of what size you are so there is no reason for anything to be retained. But saying that, there must be some reason why some people get early results at 11dpo and others have to wait days until after their AF is due. Like I said, I didn't get my results until the day my AF was due and I'm only small, about 8st 10 when I fell pregnant.

And based on my scans it seems I ovulated earlier than I thought so although I originally guessed I got my BFP at 14dpo the scans I have had would actually suggest it was more likely to be 17dpo.

Since tracking, I've always had 13 or 14 day lp. So if af hasn't started by the time I wake up Saturday morning....I'll officially be late.

So I just need to cross my legs til Saturday morning!
