If I had first flashing smiley on opk Monday, then same for two more days before fixed smiley wed and thurs what day did I ovulate?? Confused.
Boobs are pretty tender the last two days but that's far too to be a symptom...

Rara - my lp has been consistently 14days. So I'm due Friday.
I know what you mean about calmness. The last few months, although I have documented every twinge, pain, feeling and felt fairly confident I'm pregnant, when I've tested I've been hoping for a line and never seeing anything. I struggle to convince myself the symptoms are all there and just mean something.

This month, I can't explain it, but I have a confidence about being pregnant I've not felt before. I've been tempted to tell DH, although glad I've stopped myself until I actually know for sure as he'd be really disappointed.
In a way, I'm not scared to test, as a BFN won't matter, cause I will get my BFP this week. It is a calmness I've never had.

BUT, this "feeling", this confidence, this calmness is making me panic! If AF arrives I will be upset. I need to find a way to let myself down gently! Smile

but I can't be wrong....can I? Grin

Lara - unfortunately the only way to tell is if you are temping.

Typically I seem to ov two days after second fixed smiley. but I think most people count it as the next day. In which case Friday would have been dpo1 for you

Hi choccy, thanks for the welcome, you all seem like a great group! I'm technically on cycle 2 however I think I started bd too late last cycle as af came 4 days early which had never happened to be before. I bought some opk's this month however have not had a positive result yet.

Has anyone else experienced negative opk's all month? I started testing on cd5 and am now on cd14

I tested at 10, 12, 14 and 16. 10 and 12 with a 10 test and 14 with a 25 test as it was all I had. All BFNs. BFP at 16. I kind of knew at 16 though. I have had a regular cycle with no late AF for 22 years apart from now and once before (DC!)

Jaykay: that's really interesting that you suddenly feel like that. Never underestimate the power of female intuition! Hopefully you're calm for the same reason that I was and you get your BFP Smile. I think you should test at 11DPO - just cos I did and it worked for me... Dying for you to get a BFP too!

laravh I think the cb digi OPK suggests you ov 12-36 hours after the first fixed smiley, so if you got a fixed on Weds then you probably ov'd between late Weds and late Thurs. I'd go for Thurs which makes Friday 1dpo. As others have said you only really know for def from temping, but that's quite technical for some. Good luck!

jaykay that all sounds very very exciting! My fingers are crossed for you.

I am still bloated and have a 'heavy' feeling in my lower abdomen area which is unusual, although it could explained away by many other reasons I'm sure if I wasn't ttc Confused

I am really hoping for a bfp this cycle as if not ill be waiting for the December bus, as dps work for the next couple of months will be very busy and he's not too sure how often he will able to get home :( I really didnt want ttc to drag on into next year so we shall see. I'm really praying it happens this month and my 'unusual' symptoms do mean some thing!

Although all this might be psychosomatic! Confused

Newbie, I didn't get a positive on my opk until cd16.

Still spotting when I wipe, nothing on knickers. Hope it stops :(

Jessie-I know what you mean! I was convinced last month I had been extremely lucky and would get a Bfp-I had all these symptoms and instead af came 4 days early! Realised I need to be careful this month not to fall into the same pattern but I'm sure I will be symptom spotting soon! Lol

Thanks Choccy that's reassuring! I'm now paranoid that I'm not ovulating (I know it's only cycle 2 but I'm impatient! Lol). Also this month I have had no ewcm which is odd for me unless I have not ovulated yet although I had pains yesterday (again could be psychosomatic).

I've got my fingers crossed for all those testing soon!!!

Hi sazzle, sorry for late reply. I try and catch up but these women are so bloody chatty, I give up after the hundredth post Wink

I'll give you the low down! Cbfm will give you highs until your peak (duh) on your first cycle (bcos it doesn't know your cycle pattern) but from day 6. If it works like the dual hormone test, it will be measuring your estrogen for high ferts but one you get peak, that will be your LH levels.
I've been using the dual hormone test alongside my cbfm and it's said the same. I even used a ic opk (which don't work for me) but I think I think I saw a line almost as dark as my control line. So fx!!

Jesse - we decided to ttc four cycle ago, but we missed fertile window on two cycles (I think) so Im only counting this as my second proper attempt! (trying to mentally help me get through this long journey! Wink )
Together with my long (ish) cycles - 34 - it feels like forever already Smile

BFN this morning. So, maybe my intuition is far out. Im 10dpo, so not out yet - but definitely need to reset my expectations.

Anyone else testing today?

I re-tested this morning - still a line and even fainter than yesterday plus some spotting when I wipe so don't know what to think Hmm
