No change as of this morning jaykay. Been spotting pink today, but af seems to have done one early this time! Good!
Will perhaps try a test for the hell of it in a few days perhaps at the party!! but not holding out any hopes :(

Oh panic I hope not. I feel for you. This is my 11th cycle too after conceiving ds quite easily. I'm 35 and feeling the strain now as its taking so long. I'm so glad to have found this thread though its really keeping me positive and the fun and support is just great. Really hope af doesn't show and we can be lucky 11 both of us this month (hugs)

Hislommel. Quick question for you or anyone really. Are you meant to keep looking at those little 10mu cheapie sticks? I thought you just binned them after 5 mins?

Also AF cramps are such a bugger. Just because you feel them coming it doesn't mean it's the witch coming. The first time I got pregnant, I expected them every day for like 3 weeks. I was such a plonker. I was like 7 weeks pregnant and I just happened to tap into google 'period pains, but no period'. I had no idea. Almost wish I was that nieve now!

Been feeling dreadful for a couple of days. One of those times when DH says 'whats up?' and i wail 'i don't knooooow!' so i guess bastard af arriving explains that.

Told DH that af had arrived a mere 23 days after the last one started. He asked if there was any significance in it. I think i should talk to him more, i do underestimate him.

You're supposed to bin them after 10 mins allchat so I'm not counting the one I had tonight - just hoping that it means something for it to have gone pink at all.

panic sazzle another 11th cycler here... Soooooo hard! Sooooo disheartening. Trying to keep positive and listening to all the stories of people saying it took me 12; 15 minth's etc etc

In my case, I picked DH up from work and wailed all the way home. He said it's still early days and it's silly of me to think that everyone else just magically falls pregnant. Of course, he's right, but I really just wanted some understanding. It's hard for our poor men to understand how it feels, I guess.

Thanks so much - just had a cry on the tube (v embarrassing ) rushed in. Opened a clear blue ready to get the verdict and for some reason couldn't even pee! Argh one tiny drop so such a waste! No AF yet but I feel her knocking! Sazzle I feel the same as my DH wants to stop ttc at Xmas as I am 42 :/

Well I have no symptoms at all really, feel fine and pretty happy :) I don't know if the bloating was anything significan but I'm glad it has gone as it was pretty uncomfortable. I won't test till Fridays party, and I've decided to stick to the ic I've got. If af is proper late I will go out and spend money on a test then.

Today i was thinking the ttc is so different this time. Last time we conceived first cycle and I thought we had missed the window and started dtd too late (no opks just guessed with ewcm). Around the time of af I was out having lunch with a friend who was heavily pregnant and afterwards I was near boots and just thought I may as well buy a test, and I was so surprised that it was +ve!

Sod it. I'm going to get opks. What should i get and when do you start using them?

They are also a good way to feel productive once af is gone. Getting a +ve makes me feel optimistic :)

I got a load from Amazon - One Step 10miu/ml I think, possibly 20. I think I bought 60 for about a fiver.

I need foolproof jaykay ! No wondering over whether the line is darker or not preferably.

Yes they were for me. The days leading up were pink but the test line goes darker than the control line eventually and that's the peak day. My friend did give me a CB digi ov test but I think they're fairly expensive?

There the ones Ive got too.

I used them along side clear blue advanced to start with, to make sure I could read them right. But other people manage fine without this crazy double stacking!

Hmmmmm.....back is really hurting (I get this usually day of AF and cd1/2). But boobs now swollen and sore again. Maybe pregnancy symptoms are back.

Cloudy wee anyone? Only spotted it cause I piac the past two evenings. No idea if that means anything! Or if its normal for me or not as I haven't made a habit of peeing in bottles daily until recently! Morning is very clear. Evening, very lumpy - for a liquid. Very odd!

Again just the usual to report we d.t.d earlier on. I'm on C.D 18.
I've not really opened up to him fully as he's so keen. It was him to managed to convince me try again right away. but to be honest I'm still a bit apprehensive to try again due to what happened last month. I guess that's normal though. Still going to keep on trying though as it could take us a while anyway. If I could be guaranteed a healthy pregnancy resulting in beautiful baby then fantastic but I'm a bit scared getting pregnant and it all going wrong again. xxx

notta I think opks are the way to go. What i do is use cheap ones from Amazon. Start early as possible - 3days after AF. For the first week or so no line or a very feint one will appear. Gradually the line will start to get darker until you think 'hmmm is that the same as the test line?' Then crack open a digi. You should catch it as digis respond to less lh than the cheApies. This way you save money and get the satisfaction of seeing ov appear.

Be careful to AlWAYS keep the pee. I'm an expert and this month I thought 'no feint line': threw my wee away, line appeared and I couldn't be sure .

That's my strategy anyway. Saves money and you get the reassuring smiley. It's - like everything else - different for everyone - but this works for me.
