Well I thought I'd get the ball rolling and start up the October bus, there's plenty of Cake and Wine on board and extra comfy seats for relaxing into those BFP's

Right so cd12 today and I've just finished my 12 hours shift from hell. But I know that I'm coming up to O day and I'm on nights and DH is away this weekend. So instead of having a cup of tea when I get in I forced him to DTD and spend 10 minutes afterwards letting gravity do its job. Feeling the madness set in tonight Smile
Sorry to hear you're having a hard time VJONES, hoping it gets easier/over quickly!

Choccywoccydodah · 25/09/2013 22:36

Thoroughly recommend conceive plus Wink

jessieagain · 25/09/2013 22:41

Vj :( sorry to hear you are feeling down. No advice sorry, but don't give up Flowers

VJONES1985 · 25/09/2013 22:43

Thanks, all.

choccy - is conceive plus for people with low ewcm or what?

MrsB2013 · 25/09/2013 22:53

Hi Jaykay - My 1st af off the pill was 30 days and this one was 28, so I think I'll go with whatever it says for 28. I've got the CB smiley face ones, I know they are expensive but I'm hoping I only need them for this cycle FX!!

VJONES1985 · 25/09/2013 22:56

MrsB - out of curiosity, how have your luteal phases been since you came off the pill?

MrsB2013 · 25/09/2013 22:56

Choccy - I'm using conceive plus as well. Started using it last cycle, but only managed to dtd twice as DH was ill Sad

This cycle I am going to use the opks, try temping, use the conceive plus, try not to be ill or DH be ill, and I've got the Seven Seas Trying For A Baby Vits! I have been taking just folic acid on its own and Vit d on its own.

VJONES1985 · 25/09/2013 23:00

I've been doing all of the above. Just waiting for my luteal phase to behave :-(

MrsB2013 · 25/09/2013 23:01

Vjones, I'm not really sure as haven't used opks yet, but going on stomach pains the last 2 cycles, I think it was 13-14 days? But that's if I even Ov in the first place!

I do worry that being on the pill for so long is going to cause problems, I know it doesn't affect fertility, but it can mask problems!

VJONES1985 · 25/09/2013 23:03

It's not just that, longterm use often causes a b6 deficiency, which leads to short LPs. Luckily in most cases, it's temporary.

MrsB2013 · 25/09/2013 23:05

VJ have you thought about trying reflexology?

I've started having an Actimal everyday, they do have B6 in them, not sure how much? My friend was ttc for about a year, then started having them and fell pg that month.

VJONES1985 · 25/09/2013 23:07

I'm already on 100mg of b6 a day so probably not worth me having that on top.

Would be interested to see if reflexology works though!

MrsB2013 · 25/09/2013 23:12

I've read that reflexology and acupuncture can help with fertility. I'm thinking of trying it, maybe this cycle if not then defo ready for the next!

I know how you feel, I'm so impatient and really thought we'd get lucky the first cycle, but now thinking this could take a year or longer! I'm 32 and feel like I've already left it quite late for a first baby.

CleverOl10 · 25/09/2013 23:20

Please can I join? Very new to these sites so not clued up on all the lingo but here goes! My son is 3.4 and I finally feel brave enough to try for #2! This is first month ttc. Af due on 2 oct so fingers crossed can test after that.

Tea1Sugar · 26/09/2013 06:23

Hiya, I'm not on this thread but just popped on to see if some of my august bus pals have joined and how you're all doing Smile Really hope this is everyone's month. I'm 10 weeks now, and now feel I'm in another dreaded 2ww until the end of the first trimester!

Milknosugar33 · 26/09/2013 06:42

MrsB you can sit with me on this bus! I'm 32 as well and also thought we'd be lucky first time. And inevitably I have thought about age as well. We're trying for our first too.

This is the third cycle now and I'm due to ov tomorrow so DTD last night, and will be tonight and tomorrow... And Saturday if he can manage it!

I've also thought about acupuncture and reflexology. Last month I went to a spa for a few days and wondered if that would help! Sadly not but worth a try!

Last night I saw another new baby scan on Facebook and my colleague's baby is due today. If only there was some consideration given to how much time we think about babies as we try to conceive! We'd all be upduffed in no time!

onelifeonechance · 26/09/2013 06:55

Milk and Mrsb can I sit by you too? maybe we can bags the back seat I'm also 32 and trying for first baby.
Milk your last post is as though I've written it! I just kind of hoped we'd get lucky as know lots of couples recently who have got pregnant really easily but it's proving harder than I thought for us and the realisation that we only have so much control and it may take a while is dawning as now on cycle 4. Trying to contain my fears and think positive, know it's still early days in the grand scheme of things but it feels like bloody forever my life has been taken over.
Also had a full body massage last month to help me relax, know there's no link between massage&upduffness but it was v lovely if ineffective! may have to try it again this month just to check

Good luck dtdeeding Milk! Smile I'm only on cd2 so in the boring/grumpy bit, roll on ov

onelifeonechance · 26/09/2013 06:58

PS i'm off to buy some Actimel, willing to give anything a go!

englishteacher78 · 26/09/2013 08:13

Ahh, sorry read that as attempt at child #3

So rubbish in the morning.

GnomieGrace · 26/09/2013 08:29

Hi just checking in with you ladies! I'm on a sick day today on day 3 of AF and last night woke up to the sharpest most painful cramps I have ever felt, it was like AF was playing piñata with my womb! I had vomiting and diarrhoea too, Dr Google said that these are commonly associated with Dysmenhorea which is just the proper term for really painful AF. Does this mean anything? I'm on my 4th cycle post cerrazette and my last AF was painful too, but not as bad as this one. Sorry for the super long post but feel tired in pain and grouchy.
