The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Sid I also have weird cramps now! Confused Are you also on CD29 or 30?

I have a hell of a morning at work first though - must stop skiving!!!

Gillster · 19/09/2013 09:09

Have you ever had a Hycosy Bunny? I had a hysteroscopy in August which was a general and it was fine. The lap and dye is a bit more involved and I was originally down for this but ended up getting a different surgeon due to original surgery being postponed and given that my Hycosy showed no blockages she thought it was unnecessary to do the lap and dye so only did the hysteroscopy. Incidentally I am waiting for a date to go back and have a similar procedure to remove a fibroid. I think they recommend a week off work if you have the lap and dye. Try not to worry too much Thanks.

Well, I'm officially back on the ttc bus Blush .
It was lovely, but I did cry when we were finished, suddenly felt very emotional. Freaked DP out a little I think but he gave me a hug and I feel much better for having got 'it' out of the way.

CatsCantFlyFast · 19/09/2013 18:37

Well done barking! Not surprising you're a bit emotional

Bunnygirlie · 19/09/2013 18:54

Just adding me and mrsw to the list. AF due Saturday, so going to try and get a doctors appointment for Monday and have cd3 bloods done, but don't think it'll be that easy to convince the doctor to do it straight away!

CatsCantFlyFast · 19/09/2013 20:45

Does anyone want my leftover OPKs? They're only ICs (and there may be a couple of hcgs too). Will go and count how many I've got left but if anyone would give them a good home I'm happy to post if you PM me your address
Assume all the teachers are settling in to watch educating Yorkshire?

BlindKitty · 19/09/2013 20:58

Ah I love that show! Even though I'm not in the teacher club!

I've got tonnes of opks and pg tests as well but I still haven't quite accepted things so I'm hanging onto them for now lol.

ladybunnikins · 19/09/2013 21:14

Bunny, I'm an anaesthetist, although never had a general anaesthetic myself! The procedure takes about half an hour, done as a day case. Expect to be a bit groggy for a couple of hours afterwards.Possible common side effects: sore throat, feeling sick (usually given an anti sickness drug anyway just in case), shoulder pain and a bloated feeling. Anaesthetics are really safe and most people are absolutely fine.Surprised they are going straight for that rather than HSG!

Bunnygirlie · 19/09/2013 21:14

Don't think I'll need them! Confused

Bunnygirlie · 19/09/2013 21:17

Ooh Berries we have a doctor type person in our midst! lady Thanks for the advice Hun, I am so nervous!

To be honest I don't know what a HSG is and what the difference is!

Gillster · 19/09/2013 21:22

HSG is the same as Hycosy. They basically squirt some dye up your fanjo and use an ultrasound scan to follow it's progress through your tubes. No anaesthetic is required and it only takes 15 mins. The lap and dye is a bit more involved but I don't really know the specifics. I agree with Lady about it being strange to go straight for the lap and dye.

Gillster · 19/09/2013 21:23

Not sure why my messages are posting twice today Confused

Bunnygirlie · 19/09/2013 21:28

Oh a HSG sounds much more fun Wink why am I getting the horrid one Sad

BlindKitty · 19/09/2013 21:46

bunny maybe because they were querying endo?

ladybunnikins · 19/09/2013 21:54

My consultant wanted to do a lap and dye because I probably have one blocked tube based on the HSG but I said no since we were going for IVF anyway and my tubes don't matter for that!

Bunnygirlie · 19/09/2013 22:22

I guess they wanna check my tubes and also check out the possible endo, make sure the Palace is nice and clean and homey Wink
