The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Merk thanks for the chart advice too!!! I think what happened is, during the early days of this cycle I was on annual leave and my timings were messed up. Now, I wake, temp and input right away - before I've even got out of bed - at about 7am. I think I'll just leave it till the next cycle when I'll make sure I do all the times at 7 (or whenever).

I am now on CD27 (so one 'day late' for me) and 10 DPO, 11 if I make it through till tomorrow morning. So far (everything xed) no sign of AF, beyond spots and feeling fat, but these may equally be due to eating far too much Dairy Milk.

I do not think I'm pg at all but I would love to make it 11 or even 12 DPO so I know I don't have a short LP..........

Bunnygirlie · 17/09/2013 19:09

Hang on hang on, must catch up first...

sid sorry to hear you are blue, must be difficult with the family issues

Do I smell new berries Wink welcome arse and mrs

Hugs barking you are not being weird, I can imagine it will take a while to get back to 'normal'

Off to type up my essay report for you berries Wink

CatsCantFlyFast · 17/09/2013 19:28

Bunny I am wearing out the refresh button on my phone Grin off to put dinner on to waste some time and then will check back

funkymonk · 17/09/2013 19:43

Welcome arse and mrsw. mrsw, your doctor sounds like a c*ck!
bunny also wearing out the refresh!
barking Grrr at mil, though I expect she would feel terrible if she knew what you're going through right now. Getting back to bedroom activities is emotional in itself. Feels odd and a bit scary the first time. Not sure why. That's how I felt anyhow.
Sorry to hear about how you've been feeling sid. I guess you and Dh need to just keep talking things through. Hopefully after your conversation last night he might be a bit more geared up to sort things out so a decent arrangement can be agreed.
rp good news on the longer than expected luteal phase, though hopefully its really cuz you're diffed!

bunny come back!

BlindKitty · 17/09/2013 19:44

sid re your question to merk, how do you know the clomid hasn't lengthened your lp? In me, clomid overstimulated my follicles but its unlikely I produced mature eggs, although I have multicystic ovaries.

barking seriously, wtf is your mil thinking?

mrs afraid we're all symptom spotters at times but now that I'm actually pg I don't have one symptom lol. Having said that, I'd keep poas!! Ooh and keep us posted!!!

Bunnygirlie · 17/09/2013 19:48

Right, well I think I have got it all straight in my head. The 45 min appointment went by in a blur! I didn't really ask questions, just sat there and nodded!
The consultant is lovely, she explained things nice and simply for us. She said i didn't have to take notes as she would send us a letter detailing what was discussed.
She went through all our test results and what they meant, I ovulate so that's fine, no sweeties for me! Hormone levels showed possible PCOS but all other results fine, I have a good egg reserve apparently. DH sperm level is low but he does have some sperm getting through which is good.
Dildocam was fun lol (although DH thinks fannycam is hilarious) and it showed fibroids but where they are shouldn't be a problem so she said. Scan did show signs of polycystic ovaries which could be one of the causes of the spotting before AF, also possible endometriosis.
She wants to do a lap and dye to check my tubes and make sure everything is ok in there. DH has to have sperm frozen in case of reducing quality and numbers as the months go on.
She says that although there is a chance we could get pg naturally it is highly unlikely. She is putting us on the list for IVF - ICSI!

Shocked and stunned at actually being told what will happen, I assumed it would be tests tests tests first!

CatsCantFlyFast · 17/09/2013 19:53

Bunny that is simply great news, surely the shortest time from today to result is fab. I appreciate it will be a big shock and IVF can be a lot to get your head around and deal with but however you get to the end goal is irrelevant. I'm really pleased for you. How are you and OH feeling?

BlindKitty · 17/09/2013 19:54

Omg!!! I just thought she was going to bung some clomid at you and tell you to come back in 6 months!!! Sorry, things might seem a bit bleak but at least you have a diagnosis (more or less) and a plan. How long is the waiting list?

ladybunnikins · 17/09/2013 20:09

Woohoo, Bunny, welcome to the IVF club! Nice to know that things are moving forward.

funkymonk · 17/09/2013 20:13

Really glad you had a positive appointment bunny. Did they give any idea of time?

OP posts:
RevoltingPeasant · 17/09/2013 20:18

Bunny that's great! Wow, she's going to send you a letter with everything! Remind me, is this NHs or private?

It's always just great when someone just gives you a plan, and she sounds so sensible, taking precautions like freezing DH sperm.

Hopefully you will be an ivf instadiff! With triplets!

Bunnygirlie · 17/09/2013 20:26

Thanks lovely ladies! I guess we live in a really good NHS area Smile

It does feel weird knowing what path we are heading down and sad to be told its unlikely to happen naturally but I think deep down I knew that anyway.

RP we will have to pay for the sperm freezing (jizz ice lolly Grin) but it will be worth it

Not sure about how long wait is to starting ICSI. The wait for lap and dye may be a while, I think she said 16 weeks which is forever! We are going to see if it would be covered under DHs work private medical policy, if not we may dig into the new kitchen fund as its several thousand pounds Shock

RevoltingPeasant · 17/09/2013 20:38

Jizzlolly!!

I am feeling quite AFfy so bit sad about that.....

happylass · 17/09/2013 21:40

Bunny literally just getting in from work so I'm only now catching up with your FC happenings. Glad all went so well and that you've come out of it with some answers and a plan for the future Grin
Found my original referral letter yesterday and looks like Friday's appointment is just with a nurse. Won't get to see a consultant til later on. I'm ok with that though. As we're on a break at the moment things don't feel super urgent. Hope everyone else is doing well. After a 14 hour day I need a cuppa before I read back and catch up on today's Berry happenings. Catch you all later.

barkingtreefrog · 17/09/2013 21:41

Wow Bunny !! No come back in 3 months for tests, then back 3 months later for results, then 6 months of clomid regardless of whether you ovulate or not, followed by a referral to ivf a year later????? Grin Grin

I imagine you have mixed feelings but must be good to have a relatively speedy plan of action Grin .

barkingtreefrog · 17/09/2013 21:44

funky thank you for confirming I'm not weird to feel strange about going back to dtd. Smile

funkymonk · 17/09/2013 21:45

What part of the UK are you in bunny?

...currently watching midwives and 21 yr old in labour with 3rd child not bitter in the slightest

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 17/09/2013 21:45

happy don't diss the nurse! I'd choose mine over my consultant any day! And she's the one who I originally fell out with!

funkymonk · 17/09/2013 21:47

Sorry barking, cross post. Hope you're comfy at getting jiggy with it again soon.

Bunnygirlie · 17/09/2013 22:41

RP boo to the AF feelings

Thanks happy and barking I do feel kind of lucky although timescales still unknown and I am bricking it about the lap and dye!!!

I feel sad that it prob won't happen naturally but it does take the pressure off a little, does that make sense?!?

funky I'm in the south west

RevoltingPeasant · 17/09/2013 23:51

Bunny am in Plymouth area.

You know, I will be amazed if we get pg naturally. I have long accepted given our anatomical ishoos that it will be a grubbyish affair involving syringes and cups and stuff. But you know, it is a means to an end and it does mean sex goes back to just being about fun. Remember those days?

BlindKitty · 18/09/2013 07:30

bunny I know I wasn't medically told that I wouldn't conceive naturally but I finally decided in about June of this year and I can't tell you the relief I felt. My friend (also ttc) couldn't believe how much more relaxed and together I was (after years of anxiety). Surely, that must have helped when I finally did conceive (even if it was artificially)

funkymonk · 18/09/2013 07:46

Morning ladies. Anyone heard from pip lately or know how tally is doing?
How are you doing newly diffed kitty? Still warding off sickness symptoms?
