The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

barking I'm so sorry for what you have been through these last few days and for what you are facing. Please do take care of yourself and rant on here. Please do take time off work. I know it can feel weird at the beginning of the year, but you are more likely to be able to cope later down the line if you take it easy now.
I second the berry that wished we were friends in real life. I think you are all wonderful. Definitely the best thread on mn.
kitty soooooooo many congratulations! Is your cat now sitting on your tummy like it did with your friend?!
boom twins! Well done my pcos friend!
Had a shitter of a day at school. Am so tired that I feel tearful. Have had a good cry, but now feel puffy-eyed. Grrr. I don't think I'm meant for full time teaching. DH found out yesterday that he's being made redundant for the second time in 2 years. It's not that bad, as he's been wanting to get out anyway and will get a pay off. I hate the uncertainty, though.
Went to the lovely fc last night (think we should give him a berry endorsement of some kind?). No sign of ov, which should be around now, going on previous cycles. Still loads of follicles on both ovaries. Lining far too thin. Going back for another scan next week to help decide whether to go on clomid or not. The rationale being that if it looks as though I ov, then I can just wait and let nature take its course, but if not then clomid is a good idea. He also said that if the lining is not thickening then I shouldn't try to conceive at the moment. I think that's the other reason why I'm feeling sad. My body isn't doing what it's supposed to. Also had one of the most insensitive pg announcements by email yesterday. Great timing!

Hugs to all who want/need them (I know I do) and happy thoughts to those in the chopper!

BlindKitty · 10/09/2013 20:34

charming no she hasn't!!!! Her feline intuition mustn't be switched on! Maybe if/when I get a bump. Glad to hear the fc appointment went well. I've always had positive opks but its taken until now to realise I still wasn't ovulating properly so hopefully the scans will reveal all

IamKuma · 10/09/2013 20:46

barking I'm so sorry to hear your news. Thanks You've had so much good advice from the others here I don't think I can add anything better but I sincerely hope that everything goes upward from here. I also admire your courage to eek out the good news today in spite of the awful time you are having.

boom twins! Amazing, double congratulations Grin

kitty an official MN congratulations, so happy for you too.

charming sorry you are feeling down, it's really a rollercoaster isn't it. Sorry to hear about your DH too; I hope you get some better news soon. Thanks

rumisyum · 10/09/2013 21:01

barking, you're a star. Hope you're still feeling a bit better/calmer tonight.

kitty!!! Congratulations! Sneaky lady, keeping that yourself.

And boom! Amazing, twins are my fave. GrinGrin

Charming and bunny, sorry about the rubbish news and generally feeling a bit down. It's a pity there's no Chocolate emoticon here, else I'll lob a whole bunch at you. This TTC lark is a bit shite, but we'll all get there in the end.

Roll on good news... Autumn bfp bonanza, anyone?!

Boodle9 · 10/09/2013 21:11

Ok, no way I'm going to manage to read all today's posts, but I think I've caught the headlines. Kitty and Boom, lovely news for you both.

Bunny, come wallow with me. I'm still only at spotting stage today but it is absolutely, 100% AF so tomorrow will be cd1 of cycle 27. Barking, I'm so sorry today was your fears confirmed. You come and hold hands with Bunny and me when you're ready - we will be the three B's together. X

Bunnygirlie · 10/09/2013 21:43

Let's wallow boodle I'm on day 1 of spotting so AF here by weekend me thinks!

CharmingCats · 10/09/2013 21:47

Ugh! Who knows?! I could be in for another long cycle if no ov this week.

Thanks for the sympathy ladies. Off to bed now. Sleep tight zzzzzzz

Fox82 · 10/09/2013 21:55

So sorry to read your news barking Thanks I know how heartbreaking it is and how you make so many plans in your head which are so hard to leave behind. In time it does somehow get manageable though, and lovely to see all of these ladies are here for you.

Wow boom twins! So exciting! I've always thought there's something so special about twins. And congrats again kitty. You so deserve it Thanks

Sorry things are difficult at the moment charming. I'm feeling a bit down at the moment too but it's making me feel a little better to read about you all, and to read of your support for each other in good times and bad Thanks

Bunnygirlie · 10/09/2013 22:33

Gillster · 10/09/2013 23:22

After checking this thread obsessively through work I left it for a few hours and all hell breaks loose! Amazing news Boom and Blind! Barking you are one amazing berry. Sorry for the others who are down in the dumps today. It's been quite an emotional day in berry HQ and I've had a tear in my eye for quite a bit of it! Xx

BlindKitty · 11/09/2013 07:21

yorkie I just thought you really wanted us to read that part of your post haha. I think thunder's magical wee should have a place in the new title! Grin

Currently I'm too scared to go to the toilet! It's otd here and I'm so worried it will all be taken away from me! I'm being silly yeh?

Thundercatsarego · 11/09/2013 07:48

What'd otd kitty?

bunny I'll wee on anything! Pass it over and I'll wee on it. Although I do say I felt a bit coy that my magic wee was put into so much bold!!

Sorry about your crappy day charming

Bunnygirlie · 11/09/2013 08:20

Lol thunder so what are the stats of getting pg in your 16th month, maybe you can wee on them for me?!?

Thundercatsarego · 11/09/2013 08:23

Look em up bunny, I'll have another cup of tea.... Or we can do it nearer bfp o'clock if you prefer. The power may be stronger

Boomgoestheweasel · 11/09/2013 08:34

Fairly sure you could bottle it and sell it. ThunderWee (TM)

Charming sorry you had a pants day yesterday, hoping today's better. Your FC does sound lovely though!

Wine to those of you in a bit of a slump at the moment x

Saving spaces for you all in the copter! xx

SidneyBristow · 11/09/2013 08:38

Boom!!! I just saw your news and cannot believe it!!! How exciting! Were there any signs of twin-iness along the way or was it a complete surprise?? (I don't know if they monitor HCG levels or anything that might've indicated a double!) Either way what an awesome day for you & your DH! Have you told your families yet?

Blind go ahead and use the toilet, I'm sure you can't hold it for 9 months Grin massive congrats, again!!

Charming lovely I'm sorry you had a tough day. Things will get better. on the FC side of things, you're in good hands, it might take some tinkering with different meds but Dr O will get you there Thanks

Barking another vote here for your amazingness, not to mention your strength and generosity of spirit. How're you doing today? Thanks

Thundercatsarego · 11/09/2013 08:42

Hey sid, how are you doing lovely?

And yes another vote of amazingness and a hug for barking. I hope you've got more time off, rest and recovery booked in.

barkingtreefrog · 11/09/2013 08:58

I'm feeling quite wobbly and teary today, emotions all over the place and physically weak, but the bleeding has remained at period levels since yesterday so I'm off to Boots to get some super strength towels and then I'm going for a gentle dog walk in the hills with a brave friend who has been warned it may not be a cheery outing. I just can't do another full day on the sofa. Going to attempt work tomorrow. I'm not in class so can run home again if needs be without causing any disruption.

Boomgoestheweasel · 11/09/2013 09:14

Barking a sympathetic friend and fresh air is probably much better than wallowing and maybe stop for some cake She is definitely brave though! Hope it helps you clear your head a bit, sometimes a friendly listener who isn't personally involved is exactly what you need for a bit of a brain dump.

Hi sid nice to see you! We knew there was a higher risk of twins from the clomid, but didn't really expect it to happen to us - no tests or anything, just lucky that we managed to blag an early scan Grin

Kitty short of catheterisation, you're going to have to go at some point!

rumisyum · 11/09/2013 09:19

I'll join the queue for ThunderWee TM, thanks!

Haha at not weeing for 9 months. Now that would be a miracle of conception! Wink Let the good news sink in, kitty!

Your plan for the day sounds perfect, barking. I hope you feel a lot better at the end of it.

sparechange · 11/09/2013 12:12

barking You are being so amazing and resilient. I hope the walk helps things emotionally and physically. Time with a sympathetic friend and a dog will always be a good thing

kitty and boom Great news, and giving hope to us all!

I think I'm out this month, because we were staying with the in-laws this weekend when I ov'd and we just couldn't bring ourselves to dtd in their house!

CatsCantFlyFast · 11/09/2013 12:38

Barking still thinking of you. Hope the walk on the hills blows some cobwebs away if nothing else.
Spare damnit to IL contraception!
to everyone else

barkingtreefrog · 11/09/2013 14:17

Had a lovely walk and talk. It was definitely good to leave the house but feeling exhausted now and back on the sofa!
Wish I could just be put in a coma for the next 3 weeks and wake up with the bleeding stopped and the hormones sorted and I could get on with the 'coming to terms with it' bit. Patience is not my strong point and it's being pushed to it's limit Angry .

Anyway, time for a bit of Miss Marple Smile .
