I will test again over the next few days (and I have my clinic blood test on Friday) but I know. HCG gives me terrible insomnia. Even with the chemical preg on round 2 I had some. I'm sleeping very well at the moment.

Oh euro love, I'm so sorry. If it's any consolation I caved too and there was no line in that 2nd box. It was my 2nd wee of the morning, so we'll see. Official testing day is Thursday and I hope I'm proved wrong but I'm feeling quite pessimistic - I felt PMT at the weekend, then the headache yesterday. But I'm glad I've done it, it's prepared me for Thursday's result. Haven't told DP because he'll just think I'm silly for testing early.
There's more embryos frozen so it's certainly not the end of the road for us. Just annoying re the dates, this would have worked out nicely with school hols and mat leave.

Really feel for you in respect of dates too. They are the small things that others might hear but don't really understand. I remember getting past the due-date-that-never-was then past the anniversary of the BFP-that-didn't-last. My DDTNW anniversary is in a couple of months and I'm still counting. Hope for you that you never get as far as that.

Euro and Nobeer, you must be feeling rotten and I'm so sorry. Euro, might you think about a change of clinic? I know you won't be happy with with the way EC and then ET went. Maybe a short protocol will result in more embryos which can be taken to day five. I know you've considered all this before and I don't want to bug you. May I suggest a CARE clinic in London? They really do sound amazing from the research I've done. The embryoscope is an extra £750 but at least you'll have full knowledge of what your embryos are doing from days 3-5 and whether it is an issue with your eggs or maybe fragmentation.

I am really sorry you both have to deal with this again.

I'm so sorry for both Euro and nobeer. Bfn sucks! I really really hope you've both tested too early. We need some luck on this thread don't we?! Sending huge hugs to you both.

I can't remember if I've said this already or not, but my clinic are making me carry on with the bum bullets for 2 days and retest. How to add insult to injury or what. I just want my bleed to be over now. Oh well only one more tonight, retest in the morning and look again at the lonely single line! I don't really know what I should do next. I'm not convinced it was the high temperature as last cycle was pretty similar and nothing. Don't know if I should carry on or give up. Feeling pretty glum.

Fab, hope the review apt is helpful and you get an idea for next plan.

Maryp crumble does sound deelish!

Everyone else hello!!!! I can't see back properly on my phone. Sorry xxx

stars it must be awful for you and it seems so bloody insensitive. Hope that you can spend today something to make you a Little happier. I would carry on, just in case. But thats just me. x

We already planned to change clinics if we do another round. We made that decision after the messed up EC and ET.

Sorry - posted to soon.

nobeer I'm sorry you got an early BFN too. This is all so hard.

Our next step is more tests - DNA frag, genetic testing for both of us, etc. Out of our 4 embies, 3 have been "slow growers" which suggests a chromosomal problem. I want to investigate that side of thing before throwing any more money at IVF clinics.

euro so sorry about your result. Glad you're able to start planning the next steps. Have you looked into implantation issues/had an Endo scratch?
nobeer Really sorry hun. Hope you've tested too early.
We all invest so much, emotionally, physically & financially into this process. It really does suck a lot of the time.
Hugs to you both x
Hi to everyone else

My clinic suggested a scratch in a "we don't know what else to suggest" kind of way, but my first pregnancy was well implanted. In fact, it was hard to evict. The problem seems to be with the embryos.

I had all the implantation/mc blood tests when I had my NK cells tested ages ago. Everything was normal apart from one NK cell marker, but I took 6 month of prednisolone so that should be well sorted by now. Everything else is fine!

Its so frustrating euro.

We also have slow growing embryos and answers are hard to find. The DNA frag test was near perfect and karotyping is fine for both of us. For us, its really pointing to the eggs. My clinic has suggested steroids whilst stimming and longer stimming. Sometimes a little bit of tweaking can produce good results- have a look at agates file and see if anything jumps out at you.

At this stage, I would get a copy of your notes, pick out a couple of good clinics and get some opinions. It might cost you a few hundred in consultations BUT its money well spent.

We did it, chose nurture and I wouldn't look back now. Even though I've not reached my goal, I can be confident in saying we have tried our best and so have the Drs at my clinic.

Its frustrating feeling like you have hit a dead end but you really haven't.

It will be ok in the end and if its not ok, its not the end.

Lots of love euro xxxx

Euro and Nobeer I'm really sorry about the bfn's. I wish I could give you both a hug. It's so crap. I'll keep holding out hope that its just too early for you both.

I'm having lots of problems reading the thread on my iPad, is anyone else? I couldn't get on it yesterday at all. Today I can only read about 10 messages, if I try to go back further it crashes.

Sorry for the lack of personals but I'm not too sure whats happening with the limited stuff I can read x

I had the same iPad problem until I flipped the reading direction...no idea why that made a difference.

Thanks for the welcome back guys. I've had a reasonably nice 6 months off. Lots of alcohol, no fussing about what I can/can't eat, no need to shove supplements down my neck. And the money we have earn't has been spent on holidays/DIY and shopping rather than endless fertility drugs.

euro sorry to hear about your BFN. My due date would have been Oct 16th - I am focusing on being PUPO by then if it all works out. God knows what I will do if it doesn't work - start saving for the next round I guess.

nobeer sorry for your negative too. They really suck.

I must admit I am mainly a lurker, I don't want to be too drawn into mentalling about everything this time. Gym in a bit and then cinema after tonight, hopefully to make up for the entire Toblerone I've devoured today. What can I say, they were on special offer in my local shop Grin
