I used to think that too but I'm an August baby and always been fine!!! Go for it 3 piece! Apparently I'm getting my letter tomorrow with results of my biopsy - bit worried

He he good luck threepiecesuite Grin

I am sitting here in my finest boudiur outfit waiting for OH to get home. Bet he is terrified lol

sebsmummy1 · 15/11/2013 10:33

Well I was a bit pissed off with my clearblue opk yesterday. I've changed to using the one with high fertility and then peak days. Is it usual for the display wand to get stuck at the peak smiley and then become unusable? I wanted to use it this morning to see if my peak had ended but the static smiley was still showing and wouldn't disappear. Even if I put a fresh stick in.

So as I still hand the digital wand from the other packs I've used previously (the pink coloured one instead of the purple one) I shoved the open stick in that and it came up with just a circle.

As I've still got sticks left over I was hoping to use it for next month too but that's obviously not possible and I assume that's how they want it.

In other news my EWCM is just the most perfect consistency and really plentiful this morn. I think that cough medicine has done a fab job the proof is in the pudding obviously

Have a cunning plan to seduce my OH in our new house tonight when we pop round to lug the carpet rolls about. I'm going to put a couple if duvets in the back of the car and make him do me on the floor in the empty house lol. I like to keep him on his toes Wink

zippygeorgebungle · 15/11/2013 10:46

I have had that problem with the clearblue ones that show high and peak fertility too. Twice. They just seem to stop. This was part of my justification for the fertiity monitor but I will let you know how I get on with that. The annoying this about it is that you have to start using it during the first five days of cycle but I am going to try anything at this point.

Very best of luck to all! we must be due some more BFPs here soon, surely.

sebsmummy1 · 15/11/2013 11:10

I've just read that that is what they do. However if you take the battery out the back and leave it out for a few hours it will reset. So currently am doing just that. If it doesn't work in hoping I can use my pink wand next month instead. I have seven sticks and am not bloody binning them lol. You can tell from the lines inside anyhow, if push comes to shove ill just use that as a guide instead can you tell how tight I am lol squeak squeak Grin

getagoldtoof · 15/11/2013 17:00

Hello all. I went for another scan and thank god/whoever, all appears well and 7 week old embryo has a heartbeat. Feeling as positive as I can but still got this brown sludge all the time, so trying not to get my hopes up too much.

I'm thinking of you all and I agree - we need some bfps here seriously!

X

zippygeorgebungle · 15/11/2013 17:44

brilliant news

I had bleeding too, and scan at 6 weeks as a result.. I had more bleeding at 11 weeks and then 22 weeks. The baby was completely and absolutely fine and is a lively one year old! fingers crossed and best wishes xx

How are we doing girls?

I think I'm probably on dpo1 now but in not sure. It's actually quite nice not really knowing as counting the days past ovulation actually sent me bonkers last month.

We bded last night, going to try this afternoon if DS lets us, otherwise this evening. Probably tomorrow as well to be safe and then we'll see.

fedupofrainydays · 17/11/2013 21:33

I don't know if I've ov'd or not! So going to dtd tonight and Tuesday (going for every other night as we are so busy are the mo and so tired).
Had date night last night which was nice - got a bit tipsy but had a lovely meal out with DH.
Hope everyone is a well xx

fedupofrainydays · 18/11/2013 18:35

Good news ladies. Got my biopsy results back and low grade abnormality so no need for treatment - just another smear in 6 months to check out again. Phewf.

However due on sometime soon ish ? All confused due to last being a miscarriage !

fedupofrainydays · 20/11/2013 06:28

Hi dildoos sounds like even with the slow sperm things happen for you guys, just haven't been lucky with them sticking. I hope they help you soon so can put the gross drink in to proper use!!
No idea what dpo I think I'm in the 2 ww. Going to see one of my best friends tomorrow in Spain for a few days and I cannot wait!! Tapas and red wine... Yum!!

How's everyone else? Hope all is well x

Morning!!

Very confusing time in the 2be household!! Firstly the job people have neither said yes or no - they want me to go in for an informal chat in Monday. I have no idea what this means except that I'm not def out of the running yet. Secondly I bought a two pack of frer yest and as usual couldn't wait. So POAS after lunch on what I think was 11 dpo. And there was a faint line. V faint but it was there. Trying not to get hopes up, and I promised DH I would wait until thurs morn fmu to test again as by then it should either have disappeared or be definitely there.

Arrrrgh - but then what do I do about the job?! DH and I already decided that if I got the job and a bfn we'd put the ttc on hold for 6 months. But I don't want to turn the job down but at the same time by the time I've worked my noticed I'd only be in the other job for 5 months at the most!!

Tbf not an awful position just frustrating.

Dildoos - happy birthday. I guess they are doing he right thing. If your DH sperm are slow but your still getting pregnant then it's obviously not your fertility that an issue. I hope you get some answers.

Enjoy Spain, fed up. I love Spanish food - I might have to make paella for tea!!

fedupofrainydays · 20/11/2013 14:16

Don't think about it too much 2be until you have had the informal chat. To be it sounds like they want to offer you something different rather than offer exactly what you applied for?
But...... OMG re bfp!! Congratulations!! A line is most deffo a line, and frer never do evaps unless its way after the 10 mins.
I've been in talks about promotion today and I just want to leave so faking keenness is gettin quite difficult!

OP posts:
dildoos · 20/11/2013 15:56

2be how wonderful GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin I am all excited for you bfp and job congrats!
Fed up go for promotion new position new baby??? Enjoy Spain what's the weather like there at present?
Now waiting for dd5 to come out if tennis! It's freezing brrrrrrrrrr xx

sebsmummy1 · 20/11/2013 21:30

Congrats on your BFP Grin xxxxxxxx

Gingerpanther27 · 20/11/2013 21:57

Hi can I join? Smile ttc #2 ds1 is nearly 5 months. Had a chemical/ early miscarriage last cycle. Had 3 mc before ds. Fed up of trying to wait it out to poas. Am only about 9dpo and got a hmm I think I'm imagining things line tonight after started eating a twix and it tasted yuck.

2beornot · 21/11/2013 06:56

Ginger - welcome. This is definitely the place for you. My favourite symptom spot is tiredness - I'm always bloody tired!!!

Well my BFP is stronger it's official. I have a whirl of mixed feelings - obviously so so happy, but very nervous (wanting BFP to stick and worried about mmc like last time) and frustrated that it happens just as I decide to get on with life and it'll happen when it happens, coz I'm going to need to find some way of telling the job people without sounding like I planned it all along.

muzzy1 · 21/11/2013 14:48

Congrats 2be!! Keep positive and best of luck. Still hoping for everyone else.

sebsmummy1 · 22/11/2013 11:51

Finally we are in our new house. Yay!!!! Was a nightmare trying to keep seb under control whilst the removals happened but he is settled and happy.

Think I'm on around 6dpo. I have cramps again. I know it means nothing as I've had it a few cycles now where I wasn't pregnant, just wonder why I get it in the 2ww. I don't remember getting cramping pre-baby. Annoying.

Fed up how are you chick? Xxx
