Great news 2be!! Yep, it's likely you will get the job and a bfp!!
I have also made the decision to leave my job this weekend. I feel liberated and a relief as k was waiting to leave when I had # 2 but that hasn't happened. So I'm leaving by the time DS is 3 and going to nursery irrespective of whether I'm pregnant or have another child. I'm re training and becoming self employed... Scary but v exciting!

So ttc has and is talking a back seat which I think is good for me too. I did try and get a doctors appt this morn to talk about 'what next' now it's been a year but I couldn't even get an appt!! Going for having sex a few times over when I think is fertile window and go from there. Worked for us twice before so we shall see.

Hope everyone is doing ok

Ps. DH sperm tests all normal and the scan and bloods I had were all normal so looks like we have either been super unlucky for last ten cycles or something is up and hiding!

To woke up to a flashing smiley. We haven't bded all cycle so far as this house is fucking freezing (interesting how that totally makes you want to keep your clothes on permanently). But OH away for two nights from tonight and of course smiley started flashing this morn.

Had to jump on him despite his protestations. I said to him how many men around the country now are saying 'no thank you please' to a naked woman offering to gyrate on them while they lay in a warm snuggly half sleep. He really is a piece of work Grin

sebsmummy1 · 12/11/2013 07:47

Oooh fed up that is great news re your results!!!! Goes to show it will happen, there is no reason why it won't!! How fantastic both of you are reconsidering your employment to ease the stress. Love it!!

I've stayed in far too many unhappy jobs and it has never helped my career. Directly you allow one food to close several more always fling open.

sebsmummy1 · 12/11/2013 07:48

Food - door of course lol

getagoldtoof · 12/11/2013 09:01

Hello all. I'm still having bleeding. I feel like a right old sad sack. I just don't believe that this pregnancy is going anywhere good. Dh can't bear the ups and downs of it all, so I'm feeling quite lonely!

Pleased to hear they couldn't find anything wrong fedup. That is a really good sign.

Sebs you've been going through the mill! Is there anything they can do to help?

Fedup I was in a relationship at university and we never used contraception - for about 4 yrs and I didn't get pregnant. I was about 6 stone and 5 foot 5, not very good at all. I think that is why.

2be, you sound ever so calm. I'm very impressed.

sebsmummy1 · 12/11/2013 10:01

Geta - when is your next scan? Is anyone monitoring this pregnancy more frequently because of the bleeding? If not I wonder if you can push for more regular scans. I had a fibroid they were concerned about through my last pregnancy and they were scanning me a lot more, especially in my last trimester as they wanted to make sure it didn't grow anymore.

I know nothing is going to relay your fears at the moment however some women do talk about bleeding on and off throughout their whole pregnancy and it having no impact on the baby at all.

I'm going to make another docs appointment for thurs/fri and see what the best result is. I read a good site that basically said if you get reactive room of GF as an adult it tends to be pretty much symptom less, so that would explain me feeling fairly normal. If the infection is still acute on the next set of bloods in going to ask if I could have more taken in a few months. From what I've read it's really bad for my future health if my body is constantly battling this virus. If it ebbs and flows that's one thing, but a constant state of attack sing good.

sebsmummy1 · 12/11/2013 10:02

Ain't good even Grin

getagoldtoof · 12/11/2013 16:02

I've got the nuchal scan in six weeks, but am going to have to go back to epu. May go tomorrow.

Sebs that sounds horrendous. Sorry you're going through this.

dildoos · 12/11/2013 19:48

Evening all,
Sebs- hope you get on well at gp .
Geta- I know seems all bad but truly I had full on period for 9 months flooding chairs and all sorts at times and dd5 is healthy as now Smile
But I remember being SadSadSadSad all the time until 6 months then I just thought it normal.
Fed up, glad dh test were good!! How you feeling at mo? Did you ever get a normal af this month?
I have had vomit bug this week over ovulating (typical) esp as been drinking rancid Chinese drinks!
Still birthday on Monday so at least can have a cheeky Sauvignon Wink
But also on my birthday we are being referred for our investigations so happy birthday to me GrinGrinGrin
Hi everyone else how we all doing xx

fedupofrainydays · 12/11/2013 20:56

Ugh, if I was in the 2ww I would be symptom spotting like mad as I'm just so so tired! In bed already (in my hotel room).
Af wasn't that normal, stayed very dark but did drag on for the usual 6 days... Not heavy flow though. Think I just had a very weird cycle, perhaps didnt ovulate hence weird period, or maybe as a result of the biopsy I had.
Got everything crossed for you geta must be so hard to get on with life if you are bleeding - the worry is bad enough never mind when seeing blood. Did anything trigger it like sex again?
sebs doesn't sound like fun this gf thing. Are you getting rest? I think they worry it can lead to ME but that's quite rare... So take it easy and have the bloods done again. I still think it stays on your system once you have had it and are actually more susceptible to getting it again than the lie they tell you that you can't get it again!! I know too many people who have had it more than once!
Hope you are feeling better now dildoos and the medicine is performing its magic!!
Not opk'ing this month but will keep an eye out for ewcm and as long as we have sex when I see it I'm happy for this month!

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 12/11/2013 21:14

Ps. Geta - 6 stone?! That's dangerously light and agree that was prob why you didnt get preg. I was 8 stone and I'm 5.6 tall and that was v thin for me. I'm now about 9 stone which is a steady weight for me.

OP posts:
sebsmummy1 · 13/11/2013 08:22

I've also decided to relax my hardcore dieting ways lol. I've allowed half a stone to creep back on. Still makes me a size 12 but a more snug one. I can remember when j conceived seb I was a stone heavier and we were eating out a lot. My body was very well nourished lol

Well my smiley is flashing and my OH is in Germany lol. So not much action here Grin

How many flashing days do you normally get does anyone know? I ovulated on day 16 last month and I'm now on the second day of flashing - day 11. Wonder if im gearing up for ovulation bang in the middle of my cycle.

sebsmummy1 · 14/11/2013 07:57

Well I got a static smiley this morn, thankfully OH back tonight. I have had the absolute raging horn lol, ridiculous, like being 14 again.

So last month I got a static smiley cd 15, this month cd 12! I can remember back in the day that very often my cycles were on the shorter side. I'm wondering if I ovulate in the next 36 hours whether my LP will now get longer or stay at 12 days and my cycle will shorten.

Feel pretty positive that things are pinging back into place now.

fedupofrainydays · 14/11/2013 09:01

Your lp will typically stay the same. Mine does. It's the follicular phase that changes. Eg I ovulate anytime from cd 8 to cd 15. Big variation but I always get af about 13 dpo.

Tried and failed to get a dr appt today. Again. Ridiculous. And they wonder why so many people end up in A&E cos you can never get an f'ing appointment!! Bleurgh.

OP posts:
sebsmummy1 · 14/11/2013 09:11

Fed up I used to be part of a large busy GP practise and I could never get an appointment around my work either. I did wonder how the hell anyone working was meant to see their doctor? It felt to me that it was assumed that we were all sitting at home, able to pop out at a moments notice.

fedupofrainydays · 14/11/2013 11:19

With mine you have to phone up at 8.30 and spend 45 mins trying to get through and when you Finally do all the appointments for the day have gone. SHITE.

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 14/11/2013 11:20

Clearly a sign that I don't need to go as am going to get up duffed this month naturally, right???? Grin

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 14/11/2013 11:58

Ok ... Tmi alert. Read on if you dare.

Went to the loo and after my wee there was this large amount of what I can only describe as ewcm hanging out of me. It was really stretchy - like up to a small 15 cm ruler! But what I'm wondering is can all your ewcm fall out and then you have none left for the sperm to swim in? This was a lot of ewcm and now I fear there is none left up there!

OP posts:
sebsmummy1 · 14/11/2013 12:34

PMSL I had that last cycle actually, lots of EWCM that hung out of me. I have a feeling it could have been the morn after we BDed though, so maybe it wasn't just CM. I'm taking the cough medicine they recommend this cycle, are you still taking it too? I feel as though my CM is more watery/slippery do think it's doing a good job.

Well just got back from docs. They have done another blood tts but this time with a Paul a Bunnel test too. I think it's a good thing as they can really pin it down to glandular fever. If my bloods still look bad and the specific GF test is neg then I suspect they are going to want to pin down what rise I'd going on. It's a nagging concern in the back of my mind, but I think if it's anything 'not great' the doc will ring me tomorrow.

sebsmummy1 · 14/11/2013 12:35

Soz for bad typos. Really should proof read!!!

fedupofrainydays · 14/11/2013 12:47

This deffo wasn't sperm, was deffo cm!
No, cough medicine doesn't fit with my intervention free zone for this month! I'm being basic as basic can be! Just sex.

Ah hope it's all ok sebs. Not sure i really understand it, but just hope it's all ok and nowt serious xx

OP posts:
sebsmummy1 · 14/11/2013 13:01

I'm sure it's fine, just glad they are doing a little more investigation that's all xx

I can't believe a month has passed since we were on the threshold of the 2ww again!!! Crazy!! I've got so much going on with DS's birthday and the move that I'll be amazed if I get the chance to symptom spot.

Baby dust all round xx

zippygeorgebungle · 14/11/2013 18:24

I've invested in a clearblue fertility monitor this month, it was about £100 in boots so a whole new way to obsess. I've also paid for a consultant's appointment next week to hear someone else tell me, I imagine, that trying for 9 cycles at 35 whilst breastfeeding an instantly conceived one year old does not a fertility problem make but somehow feel I am doing something at least. Ridiculous.

good luck everyone.

threepiecesuite · 14/11/2013 20:26

Well I had the all clear yest after my loop excision for cin3 cells in May. So we are really going for it this month.

I always used to avoid having an August baby but hey I'll take any old month these days! Goold pld cheapo ov stick says 'do it right now' so wish me luck.
Good luck to everyone else.
