As I thought Sad

fedupofrainydays · 06/09/2013 07:40

Hugs 2be. Aren't you still a bit early? But I so know how you feel. It's heartbreaking. Xx

morning. BFN this morning with first response and super drug. got am evaporation line with super drug - I made the mistake to look an hour later. it was a faint pink line that is why I tested again with first response but it just confirmed my bfn
in the middle of this got a text from a very good friend saying she's 12 weeks after ivf. very happy for her but couldn't stop crying... I'm so ridiculous! Angry

Liquidambar · 06/09/2013 07:44

sorry 2be (hugs)
are you going to test again on Monday or will you wait for af?

pizzaqueen · 06/09/2013 07:57

sorry for those who got bfn Sad

i think i was meant to be in on the syncro pee but I'm not due af until wed and willl be on holiday and not taking not taking pee sticks with me so if I'm late i'll poas next weekend. Only about 7-8dpo today anyway. dont have a good feeling about this cycle anyway.

good luck to those still to poas today.

getagoldtoof · 06/09/2013 08:04

Oh liquid and 2be, I'm sorry. However, as you know - it's not over yet as you could be too early. And liquid, sorry about the evap, that's just heartbreaking.

Pizza - your plan sounds good.

Liquid - I think that's normal. We all feel happy for our friends and sad for ourselves- more so the longer we wait. I remember when my 20 (then) yr old sister rang me to say she was accidently pregnant and didn't know how to tell mum. She didn't know we'd been trying for a year at that point. I could barely stop myself from sobbing and it was incredibly difficult. I cried a river when I got off the phone. Sounds like your friend has been waiting and wishing for this, though, so of course you're really pleased for her at the same time.

getagoldtoof · 06/09/2013 08:07

Oh and I've decided a bit of noel edmunds cosmic ordering is in order this month. Will be asking the universe for a baby. I'll let you know how it goes as I am not vaguely 'woo' and think it might not work for all of this fertility stuff (if at all!).

KPidgeon · 06/09/2013 08:18

geta that's funny! Please let us know how it goes.

gandt oooooh! Hope you get s strong line this morning. And I hope it's catching!

Sorry 2be and liquid it's so sad every month that it doesn't happen. This and AF are the low moments but you will feel better again when you can try again. You will get your babies. x

fedup when are you off on your hols? Are you going somewhere sunny?

How is everyone else?

Was too tired and hot to DTD last night. Read something on stupid facebook about my friends being able to do baby groups together again next year with their new babes so that set me off. ARrrggghhh!

So tonight's the night!

muzzy1 · 06/09/2013 08:46

Sorry about the bfn this morning. How many dpo are you both?

2beornot · 06/09/2013 08:49

Liquid - sorry you got a bfn too. Yep think ill check again mon if AF not here. Really not expecting a BFP though. How about you? Do you feel like it might have happened? When is AF due?

Yes poss a little early still, but at worst 10dpo which apparently means if I'm preg it's 75% chance id get a BFP. I think if AF hasn't arrived by Mon i'll check again.

I'm annoyed at myself for getting my hopes up though because if you read my posts from a week ago I had a feeling it wasn't going to be my month and was kind of ok with that.

And am a little upset with DH because he knew I was testing first thing (I was explaining fmu to him!) but didn't ask. Prob because its not the first thing he thought of when he first woke which shows how different we are.

All in all feeling pretty sorry for myself.

Liquidambar · 06/09/2013 08:57

thanks ladies.
I'm also 11 or 12 dpo.
I don't think I will test again. AF is due on Monday or Tuesday. I thought I would test again on Monday but it's very heartbreaking to see a a negative result so I don't think I will.

GandTnow · 06/09/2013 09:07

So sorry to hear about the bfns. Hopefully there will be some changes over the weekend and on Monday.
Had another faint line this morning - still 4 days early, I'm now worrying because it hasn't got any stronger, but keep telling myself a line is a line.

Away most of next week so glad I found out at home to give me time to process.

muzzy1 · 06/09/2013 09:16

It is such a an awful feeling 2be and liquid. I really hope you still have a chance. My DH would be the same 2be....he doesn't have a clue most of the time!

Don't worry gand...I was worried as my line was similar for a couple of days...now it's darker than the control line! I think the levels only increase every 48hrs in the beginning so testing every other day is better if you can manage it....I couldn't!

fedupofrainydays · 06/09/2013 10:01

I can empathise with you all, I so can. It's so so hard. Even when we think we are out one month there is always a 'maybe' in our minds. I'm like that too. Really not thinking this is my month but I know when af arrives (am not testing this month / not taking tests on holiday) I'm going to be gutted once more.
Big hugs to 2be and liquid both staring at bfns. I know how shit it feels. We will get there but I know that doesn't make it easier when staring at a stupid single line.

We are off to Portugal tomorrow. Hopefully it's sunny there! Even though I don't work on Fridays I'm busy in the pre holiday panic and not even started packing for us 3!

thanks fedup

you are to my home country Grin
it has been very hot for September and everyone is hoping for some cooler weather. but whatever the weather I hope you'll have a great time.

CourgetteSmuggler · 06/09/2013 11:23

Hi Fedup and goldtoof

DD is two and I Ovulated on CD21. We dtd on CD20&18, I misjudged it so maybe slightly off! We should have dtd more often this month was only 5 times!

CourgetteSmuggler · 06/09/2013 11:26

Sorry for all those BFPs I always used to test early but I think it does more harm than good sometimes!

misshoohaa · 06/09/2013 12:11

Hi everyone!

Hope all is going ok for all the TTC #2's. big congrats Muzzy and G&T.

I've been lurking this month but haven't posted as trying to not get to obsessed with the whole TTC this month as felt pretty rotten when AF got me last time so decided to just accept there will be more than a 3 year age gap and that whilst not what I wanted it does have lots of positives. So capped my googling, mums netting and daydreaming about babies for a few weeks but alas I'm back!

So no OPKs this month just a bit of shagging around when I thought I was Oving but we only did it 4 or 5 times over a week.

But of course now I am in the 2ww I am back to obsessing as per usual!

I have started b6 to try and increase my luteal phase as I think it is only about 10 days. So my wee is now fluorescent yellow!

How's the bump Abi? Hope u are feeling OK.

Nice to see some BFP's!

Piglet, I think we are cycle buddies. I think I'm about 3/4 days ov probably due AF next weekend.

getagoldtoof · 06/09/2013 14:39

Cd 18 & 20 sound good courgette. Fingers crossed.

Hey hoohah, I have decided I will be pregnant this month. I've placed my order with the looniverse... ha. The b6 sounds like it's doing the trick then. Jow much is it 100mg? I am half tempted but my lp is fine. I guess I'm just worried about progesterone because of my early mc/cp and that I still occasionally bf ds, maybe 5 times a week. Does it have any other side effects?

Fedup have a fantastic time - it should really help to clear your head of all this horrid ttc uhmming and ahhring.

2be, I'm not surprised you're feeling crappy. I can't stand the sight of a bfn. You're right, dh was a bit insensitive- but its just not on their minds in the same way.

I poas opk in the train station - into a costa coffee lid ha! Properly negative, in fact ive never seen such a negative opk! When I used to do them I always got two lines. Weird.

2beornot · 07/09/2013 07:15

Morning ladies. Well I'm def out - AF got me! Which is the second month in a row I've had a 24 day cycle. And it confirms that I ovulated on the Saturday I thought, so maybe I can read the signs better than I think. In which case I might not start with the OPKs this month. The longer I can hold off that the better I think!

fedupofrainydays · 07/09/2013 07:23

Thanks ladies. Last post from me for a while unless I find some decent wifi out there! Have a great couple of weeks and looking forward to checking in and seeing some more (and stronger) bfps and probable happy scan news from abi.

I'm hoping this hol helps me through my EDD on 13 sept, although af now due around the same time so double whammy of pain and disappointment. But I think once this date has officially past something will let go and the pressure to be up duffed by then will go. I did get a bit depressed packing a load of tampax, liners and painkillers last night :(

How do you pee in a costa lid geta it has a hole for drinking so didnt the wee just fall out?? Impressed by the effort though! I did an opk yesterday too and only one line which I thought was weird too. Oh well.

Lots of love ladies and see you in two weeks xx

2beornot · 07/09/2013 07:51

Have a fab holiday fedup! Hope you get through the 13th ok. See you in 2 weeks!

2beornot · 07/09/2013 07:52

Oh and yes! I wondered about the lid! It has a hole plus you must have been able to move it out of the way part way through? Definite dedication!!!

muzzy1 · 07/09/2013 09:03

Hope you're ok 2be....I agree doesn't sound like you need OPK's and at least your cycles aren't too long so you can try again soon!sorry I realise that's no consolation at the moment!

Hope you have a lovely holiday fedup and that things are easier for you once September has past. You will get your BFP!

I am also impressed with peeing in a lid! How is that possible?!

Good luck in the 2ww wait miss and welcome courgette.

getagoldtoof · 07/09/2013 13:13

Oh 2be, that is so annoying. Sorry lovely. At least you've got a better idea of when you're ovulate. Should help you get the bfp.

Muzzy hope you're ok and feeling relaxed. Those early days are so tough.

Fedup will be thinking about you on the 13th. It is lilely to be difficult but at least you're away and can enjoy the sun.

I know when you pee on an ic opk you don't need much pee so I waited till mid flow and angled it away from the hole. Didn't have much pee, but enough for opk. Then I poured it out and put the lid back on the cup which I chucked and washed my hands thoroughly. All in the name of ttc eh?
