Still here, still ttc, still POAS, still symptom spotting, still counting days, still temping, still shagging and still absolutely nutty!!!

GandTnow and 2be I am completely exhausted today for no apparent reason - but I can't stop thinking it could be an early sign. I am about 9 ou 10 days dpo, so implantation was either yesterday or today.

I went to sainsbury's and stopped at the family planning section. Thank god they only had expensive tests, so I decided to wait until Thursday when I am back at work and can stop at boots.

Lets wait until friday, ladies! We can do it Wink

I would add to the peestickaholic "do you regularly take the sticks apart to further analyse / squint / imagine that the bfn is actually and bfp?"

"Do you hide the evidence of your addiction - ie bury them in the bin?"

Oh I love that site too. Spent many a hour looking at symptoms and people's stick results at each dpo. This month I am too busy with work this week and the holiday so am having a break!! The surprise early ovulation has thrown me too so am not ready for symptoms spotting as shouldn't have ov'd yet according to my plan!!

Hi everyone Smile work got in the way of MN...fedup i'm glad the scan went well as in not showing anything of concern, but sorry about early ov. Surely it's just a one-off? A few cycles ago, everything was gearing up to ov, temps, cm etc, and then nothing. Then five days later, ov started again, so odd...
Anyway, it's day 11 here, so tonight is the official start of the shagaton for cycle 9 (or ten? I forgot...). We'll dtd everyday from now til after ov Grin

Hi everyone

Very confused about my chart this month (after saying I wasn't going to temp...got sucked into it again...)
Got positive opks on Monday and Tuesday and felt ovulation pains etc. but ff has put my ovulation day on Sunday going by a temp rise. This is so frustrating - how can i get my first positive opk after I ovulate? is this even possible? Am I even ovulating?!

I'm also annoyed because it means that we only DTD once, two days before I ovulated and then once the day after (which is probably too late). Gah!

Well looks like I'm out again this month. Just can't seem to time any of it right to give ourselves a chance. So fed up with my stupid body and how I just can't seem to get a handle on what it is doing.

Hi one that's odd... I wouldn't think you could get a pos opk after ov, but then I've quit the opks because they made me totally anxious. Was there anything special about Sunday? I'm thinking waking later/earlier than normally? Interrupted sleep? Stress? Booze? Different room temperature? How were your temps monday and tuesday? And what about cm? I find that can give me a clue if my temps are playing up which they sometimes do, for no apparent reason. i so hope it's just a random temp fluke and fx that you're still in the running!

Thanks keepthecarrunning - I always have interrupted sleep so to be honest maybe I shouldn't temp! The rise on Monday was so big that it can't really be ignored. Plus my temps yesterday and today have been similar to the higher temp so it looks right if you know what I mean. But all my other signs (cm, feelings, opks etc) suggest I actually ovulated Monday or Tuesday but I had no temp rise....

So confused and fed up! I've been reading taking charged your fertility and it all seems so clear and easy the way she describes it - take your temp and a pattern wil emerge etc. but every month my chart leaves me confused and not sure what is happening!

No idea if I'm just not actually ovulating at all. In 5 months it will have been over a year of trying so I can go for tests...

2be and g&t - you're being very disciplined! I'm impressed.

Keep the car, I'm day 9 - so will start the sex stuff tomorrow. We will be poas at the same time..!

I'm not really in the mood for sex as I had a huge row with dh as he bought something we agreed he wouldn't now we're very short for money this month. As we're ttc I will try to get into the swing of it, maybe we'll have good make up sex, but I just want to fuck it all off today.

that is strange one, the charting business can really leave you stumped sometimes... Temps should be a better predictor than cm, I think, but it's hard to tell the effect of interrupted sleep - I get that too. But if you managed to dtd 2 days before Sunday and 1 day after, it's not too bad, I suppose? DS was a one shot deal.
Although I totally get your frustration - it is so hard month after month. Sad I'm beginning to suspect I have implantation issues, but don't know how to solve that one...

getagold Yes, POAS buddies! I reckon I'll be testing sometime around the 23rd, that seems ages away now...

If anyone can help that would be great, but despite all my other symptoms it looks very likely I ovulated on Sunday! Does anyone else get their ovulation symptoms after they ovulate?

Hey ladies! Hows it all going? Fed up glad your scan didn't show anything sinister! Let's hope the early ov this month was just a one off!

So theres a few of you poas friday then. I shall keep a lurking to see how you're all doing!

So all poas, waiting for af to disappear and waiting for ov I shall keep my fx for you!

Muzzy, how are you feeling now? Hopefully a bit more relaxed.

one it would appear that ov was Sunday but I would give it a few more days tbh. There's no report on cm or cervical position today, so I don't know about that. But just to give you an example of one of my charts: I had dropping temps and ewcm, so fully expected ov, then temps went a bit up (think 0.2) and stayed flat for a few days but I hadn't ov'ed. Ov only came the day after with a marked shift where temps stayed much higher.
What I trying to say is that it may be too early to tell, give it two days and then hopefully ft will give a firmer answer. I know it's really annoying though..

AF now gone but brother staying over tonight so we're back DTDing as from tomorrow!

The caffeine withdrawal symptoms have gone now thank God! They were horrid. Hope all that was worth it...

I've totally increased my caffiene last few days - whoops! What's the deal with caffeine anyway - ie how does it no help fertility. I thought it meant ov was delayed but I clearly don't have that prob (although as some of you suggest I am sticking with the opks and cm checks - I don't temp - to see what happens) i think it had happened to be honest as sonographer saw free fluid and no mature follicles ready to ov. So it was either early ov or annovulatory cycle if that makes sense.

one that all does sound confusing and I really don't think you can get a lh surge after you ov. Doesn't make sense!! Could wee have been too diluted to get pos opk on Sunday? Or... Temp rise could indeed be affected by something else. It's why I don't do it cos I'm such a erratic sleeper. Although my mum keeps telling me if I stick a thermometer up my fanny all will be fine. Not the best convo to have with your mum Blush

Good luck geta and car with dtd. And hope you make up with DH geta. It's usually me in trouble for spending in our house Blush but not anything we agreed not too I suppose so I can see why you are angry with him.

Can't wait to hear this weekends POAS outcomes!! Fx!!

fedup and KP I miss so much my coffees. I only have one first thing in the morning and it's after lunch that I miss it the most. The headaches are now gone, but it was a difficult phase.

Nothing to report here. No symptoms apart from fatigue. I am back at work tomorrow and already missing my DS.

Yikes. Just been reading about the caffeine. Shit. Been having 3 a day in the last week. Norm but one or maybe two. Hopefully I've not done any damage and will endeavour to cut back down to one. I love coffee.

what's the deal with caffine could google but can't be arsed apart from it just generally being bad and unhealthy? I dont drink much coffee but am a bit of a pepsi max addict and odd energy drink too...eek!

I read it can increase oestrogen and stops the Fallopian tubes contracting properly. No concrete evidence but they do say to cut down JIC.

I think I'm cutting back again...
Although both times I conceived before I'm pretty sure I was on a diet of caffeine and booze..

Nearly poas day ladies! Anyone thinking its their month?
That is strange about your chart one. I don't know much about temping but think it would be very strange to get a surge after ovulation. You still have a chance DTD once though...that was all it took us last month.

fedup that is an early ov...hopefully just a one off though...are you still using opks just in case?

Did you choose your stick yet liquid? Having tried ALL brands my favourite is super-drug ones. I've never got a smidge of a line if its a negative and they are really sensitive...and cheap!

I am doing ok thanks and feeling a bit more relaxed after last weeks rollercoaster! Have a strong line now so have stopped testing and now just waiting. Am planning a private scan at 8 weeks if all goes well as I can't wait until 12!
