jaykay between 10-15 days long luteal phase is normal and anything under 10 days can be a problem

so jealous of the sound of all these lovely holiday...

theborrower · 20/08/2013 23:34

Ok, feeling a bit bad because we've been out to a gig and it was a free bar,and my plans of staying sober have not worked out. I feel totally tipsy. Am I bad? I'm officially in the two week wait so shouldn't be touching the booze. Sorry.

lucyfluff · 21/08/2013 08:53

I have no idea when I ovulate but cramps are much better today although DTD last night and certain positions hurt a little :( sorry TMI!!

I wouldn't worry about a few drinks, it's not like your drunk every night @ the borrower!! Everyone needs to relax and let your hair down once in a while :)

Nulanoo · 21/08/2013 09:29

I can't help looking at names too!

ChubbyKitty · 21/08/2013 09:33

Oh nula my names are already decided! For a boy or a girl Confused

I'm not crazy.

snoozysleeper · 21/08/2013 11:26

I have lists of names from before we even started ttc Confused

CoffeeGuzzler · 21/08/2013 11:43

I have name for a boy since before I got married!!! Blush For a girl, my dh vetoes everything.

ChubbyKitty · 21/08/2013 12:16

Coffee I let DP pick both middle names and then I do first names. I have to say he's made brilliant choices.

Choccywoccydodah · 21/08/2013 13:18

We had names before we started ttc ds, he is called Euan, which is what we chose Grin
Not even thought about this time, although there are a few I like that I've heard like Keiran, Abigail, Emily. There's another boys one I've heard but I can't blummin remember what it was!!

Choccywoccydodah · 21/08/2013 13:24

Aaron, that was it!

charleslingus · 21/08/2013 13:40

Ov buddies purple (waves back) but I see you get to poas way before me, though I know it's still a 2ww, jealous yours is going to come round quicker-best of luck!

We have a name and two middles picked out for each gender, fully decided no two ways about it, baby to be will be named one or the other. We have slightly... ahem... controversial naming style, think the kind of names that people love to fight about on MN, so things could get interesting.

jaykay987 · 21/08/2013 14:05

Ooh...I want you to get a BFP just so I can go stalk your naming thread! Grin

CoffeeGuzzler · 21/08/2013 14:24

Charleslingus, looking forward to your naming thread. Grin

Choccy, are your Irish? My husband is and his family is full of Kierans, Aarons and Euan / Eoins!

Choccywoccydodah · 21/08/2013 14:25

No, not Irish, both English Smile

CoffeeGuzzler · 21/08/2013 14:34

Just a slightly Keltic taste in names then. Grin.

DisneyDiva87 · 21/08/2013 15:42

I love celtic/gaelic names :o)

I really like Erin for a girl and it's a poetic reference to Eire and we both are from Ireland (the north) but live in Scotland so we like that. I'm more of a traditional/biblical name type person though so there'll be nothing original with me!

OP posts:
CoffeeGuzzler · 21/08/2013 16:21

Disney, my dh is from northern ireland too! And I went to Edinburgh uni...so gaelic names have a fond place in our house. My sis in law had a baby last year and named her Aoife. Smile.

charleslingus · 21/08/2013 16:21

Thread title: Peregrine tarquin Ptolemy Indio rex the third and Ottoline Delphi Persephone margot. Are my name choices too understated/common.
(Runs and hides)

[Disclaimer] these aren't my real name choices...but you get the picture.

PurpleGeekyGirl · 21/08/2013 17:17

Hey Charles I'll swap my erratic 21-29 day cycle any day for a regular 28 day one!!

Got a Grin on my cb digi this morning. I'm on cd6 ffs looks like this is going to be a v short cycle. Not sure we are going to be able to do smep this cycle as dtd last night, have a friend over tonight and boyfriend is v stressed with work sigh.

PurpleGeekyGirl · 21/08/2013 17:18

Oh and btw I was deadly serious a out calling a child Ptolomey. After that very sexy architect on the restoration programme!!! Now I can't think of boys names but like Arwen Gaia or Skye Gaia for a girl #hippyalert

PurpleGeekyGirl · 21/08/2013 17:20

Sorry, catching up on my phone hence all the messages cos I forget what I was going to say if I try and do it all in one...

We have decided to climb snowdon so if a conception miracle occurs will have to choose between Pyg, Miner or a welsh name Wink

charleslingus · 21/08/2013 17:28

Wow, cd 6 is early, but at least you're aware of it and not completely missing it because it's not when you expected. What is your luteal phase like, I'm sure it doesn't matter one jot that you ov'd early if you have a decent lp?

I love hippy names, dh is English eccentrics old money rah and I'm Franco Italian bohemian flower child so we come up with some crackers, love love love your names, beautiful! My godfather is called Jupiter, might have to slip that in somewhere!

charleslingus · 21/08/2013 17:30

Pygmalion or Minerva?

CoffeeGuzzler · 21/08/2013 17:40

I like Minerva!

I am half Portuguese half Indian. Husband Irish. Both have lived in England entire lives. Needless to say we come up with some weird monikers. I am partial towards french names. Grin DH would rather eat glass.

theborrower · 21/08/2013 20:14

Ok, I might still be in the running - CD19 and still have CM. Now have sharp pain lower left side of tummy - could that be ovulation? My cycles used to be 28-32 when they were a bit more normal (just had 2 long cycles after implant removed) so it could be a long cycle that I'm having? What do you think?

If so, I won't feel quite so guilty about being a bit steaming tipsy last night.
