I had a nasty cold yesterday but I have had the worst night ever with my chest burning from coughing so much and I can't breath properly but I didn't want to take anything incase I was pregnant but I'veh ad enough now.

Do you think it is alright to take decongestiants and lemsip?

Nicki I also knew I had no ewcm, I started using obi gyn pre seed or just pre seed (sperm friendly lubricant)as it is known.
after 3 mths nothing, so last mnth I drunk grapefruit joice from day 1-day 20 of cycle - apparently it helps with the cm. Took evening primrose oil from day 5-20
And also used pre seed on days 8-20 I started putting the pre seed in much earlier in the evening too rather than 20 mins before doing the deed.
I also tried plain cough medicine with apparently loosens mucous, it is guifanesin, the medicine must not have any other active ingredients in it.
And got my bfp that month along with using doggy style and legs up afterwards.
One of the things worked and I could not nail it down to which one

God you did a lot, with the preseed how much earlier did you put it in? And does it not come back out as soon as you stand up?

I did do a lot, mostly as I had fertility appt during the cycle and they put me on clomid for my next cycle, I was determined to avoid needing help
Dp thought I was raving mad but he got lots of nookie so he was not too bothered. He still thinks it is his bionic sperm that caused the bfp not my mammoth efforts on the ewcm front [sigh]

Piffle sorry!! I think it is just an old wives tale. It probably means it is a healthy, thriving singleton, safely embedding itself with plenty of hormone to sustain it - that's all.

i do not ovulate so think it is more than likely i will be put on this, not sure i am going to manage the grapefruit juice.

I know I used to get that natty maybe 5 yrs ago and younger, loads of ewcm, never knew its significance then of course.
But since I learned about what it was nothing...
I did get watery cm... So figured a little help was in order - I did get some ewcm for just one day and quite a bit of it. not sure what did it though...

Hello ladies, I am so glad I jumped on here to see what was going on, many congratulations Wannabump2006 and Showofhands, so excited for you both! you cheered me up endlessly.

Well, I should be leaving I suppose as AF turned up (uninvited) on Sunday whilst I was at a BBQ party. I was almost in tears, I have to admit now that I was secretly hoping more than I thought.

AF turned up 23 days after she last left. I came off the pill the week before that. I guess I cannot really treat this as a real cycle but if I have it right, my fertile days should have been 16 days before and there were at least 3 opportunities when I could have fallen then.

Fingers crossed for August and I hope the rest of you get your dream to come true and don't have to join me over there

Sorry to hear that, hopefully august will bring you luck, early days though so try not to feel too down about it.

Got a quick question, i am on CD 34 and seem to have had a bit of discharge the past few days, sort of yellowy, last cyle was 35 days but has been know to be upto 70. Is there something wrong with me to have this discharge?

Hiya Natty, as long as it doesn't smell or itch, then there is probably nothing wrong. Might be the heat even.
I guess if it gets worse, ie smells funny or itches, then worth a trip to the pharmacy/GP.

I get that too Natty, my discharge varies between creamy, yellowy and clear. Seem to get some sort of discharge at most points in my cycle too. Unless it smells I'm sure its fine.

Glad it's not just me. like you say heat might be making it worse.

Have got a first repsonse one at home but not going to waste it as i know i did not ovulate.

My af is about to show up, so don't see much point - SOB! Mind you knowing me, I probably will as I bought a cheap lot of the internet and they are screaming at me to be used!!
