Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Happy shagging shaggers!

Congrats to Stroke, writer & cookie! YAY! Flowers What an exciting thread this is! Well done to you three!

Ok well AF has left the building and I was getting all geared up to start eod jsing today. Dsil announced she is getting married next July last week and me and DH were so excited at the prospect of having a child at the wedding. Last night DSil mentioned they are having a child free wedding and they are considering not having her fiancés niece there (she will be 1 and half at the time). This has really shaken me. She is making it quite clear she doesn't want children there, even family ones. I don't want to be the one to force her into having them just because we will have to have a baby there.

Sorry for rambling but DH thinks I am just being stupid and there is no way baby plans are being put on hold for weddings. But now I am stressing about either being heavily preggo or spitting the kid out just before the wedding and having a mad panic shopping trip to find a dress that fits!

Argh! I am being stupid I know.

please feel free to ignore my idiotic ramblings

Argh now the panic has already set in, do digi's ever get it wrong? I think i am so use to it saying not pregnant, i think i must have a bought a dodgy test, i am being crazy right??

Urgh i have got back pain, which is not really anything new as i suffer from that frequently.

Positives i feel quite sick Confused

I think i need a hooya!!

Oh Cookie I thinks its very rare to get a false positive, and remember you had two BFPs from different tests! They cant both be negative!

Small hooya! All will be ok.

AQuarkTooFar · 22/07/2013 11:36

Sorry when I said they cant both be negative I meant they cant both be faulty!

Brain not in gear this morning!

AQuarkTooFar · 22/07/2013 11:38

zing Crown to you too!

Frog if you are around anywhere look they have made your drama crown into a smiley! Crown!

AndieDisestablishment · 22/07/2013 11:59

Cookie There's no such thing as a false positive, you only make preggo hormones when you're pregnant. Chill. Smile

Quark I'd be quite happy to not go to a relative's wedding that my children weren't welcome at. Weddings are meant to be a family celebration after all. Don't stress. If you have a baby and she goes bridezilla then it's her loss.

Minion Cosplayers just generally l

Minion Cosplayers just generally love having their photos taken, it's why they do it.

Minion · 22/07/2013 12:20

Right that settles it.
Next year, I'm going as she-ra, husband as Han solo and fingers crossed anyone else... E.T!

cookielove · 22/07/2013 13:09

Eek i promised my husband quite rightly that i wouldn't spill about being pregnant, just had lunch with a couple of work colleagues who asked when we are going to have a baby, and i flat out lied (impressed with myself)

If your going to be any superhero you should be cat women (i wish i had the figure for that one) as everyone looks fab in black Grin

Quark, we had our big wedding party last month and, granted, we did keep things more casual but had two heavily preggo ladies who were very comfy and elegant in their linen trousers! So don't worry about that part of it!

Now, I'm by no means against child free weddings but if your young'un is just a couple of days/weeks at the time you might not feel up to going even if baby was welcome, always a consideration . Overall, I don't think it's a reason to put your plans on hold!

AQuarkTooFar · 22/07/2013 15:05

Oops sorry meant to say hello and welcome to the thread to you Alohomora!

Minion I have no idea who the people are that you are talking about but it sounds all very exciting!

I hope dont think DSil is going to be a bridezilla, I think she is just feeling very overwhelmed by everything wedding at the mo and doesn't want to make firm decisions. She is being quite pressured by DMil who has been planning this wedding for years! Unfortunately I would have to be in a very bad way to not go to this wedding as it is being held in the garden/field next door! DH's job requires that we live v.v.v.close to PIL! I just don't want to force a baby on the wedding but I think I am just being silly.

I think I need a big hooya as I am worrying about things that are not even a problem!

Anyone else quite excited about this Royal Baby? Crown

Huge congrats Cookie! Grin

I think most people have a go Downstairs 'just to check'

Frog- have your Crown back. Grin

Quark- I wouldn't worry at all and would just get on with your own plans. You can't plan everything around everyone else. Plus, if you do, you might end up regretting it. Everything will adapt at the time and work itself out. Don't worry about it now.

Hello Aloho!

Ertd left today for me too so should be able to get on soon.

I feel ridiculously tired though as had a 4 hour car journey in 35 degrees! It didn't drop below 33 once! Even with air con. Hmm

pizzaqueen · 22/07/2013 16:58

On my way home from work, I don't actually mind my job but I want a break from the routine. I can't wait to go on mat leave and I'm not even upduffed yet.

I don't think it helps most of my friends havd the luxury of being sahms, so I feel like I'm missing out on a lot, especially over the summer.

Strokethefurrywall · 22/07/2013 17:00

Yay, congratulations cookie and writer - fabulous news!

I saw my OBGYN on Friday, he's put me on progesterone support straight off, and I've had my hcg levels checked and am just waiting on results - fingers crossed my levels are doubling or whatever it is they're supposed to do but the doc has already prescribed me two different anti-nausea medication as I'm already feeling sick. I take it as a good sign so am sure it's all good for you too cookie.

Also, you can't get a false positive and very difficult on a digital as they are less sensitive than non-digital. If it's says your eggo is preggo then you definitely are!

EssieSaysRelax · 22/07/2013 17:06

Yay cookie! Awesome news. Congratulations. Xx

lil1ady · 22/07/2013 17:50

Congrats cookie so pleased for you.

Zing have you managed to do the bfp tally?

downstairs someone said here before a +ve opk can be because of preg hormones so poas in the morning!

Writerwannabe83 · 22/07/2013 17:57

Congratulations Cookie!!! Brilliant news!!!

I was taking my Clear Blue Digital test everywhere I went yesterday - I couldn't stop looking at it. I desperately wanted to tell my sister and our mutual best friend but Hubby said no!!

I had to tell 4 people at work today though - for risk assessment reasons - and it was so lovely to see their reactions!!

Huge congratulations again! x x

Writerwannabe83 · 22/07/2013 17:59

It was my unexpected positive OPK result that lead to me finding out I was pregnant only 2 hours later!!

My OPK test line was so much stronger than the control line - which as has been said, can indicate pregnancy Grin

cookielove · 22/07/2013 18:08

Writer i was so dissapointed when i got home to find the battery had died, but so glad i took a photo of it before it disappeared.

Writerwannabe83 · 22/07/2013 18:17

As soon as I came home from work today I ran to my bedroom to have a look at it again and alas, the battery had died - I empathise with your disappointment. The old me the crazily obsessed, continually POAS girl would have gone out and bought another to test again, but I have managed to control myself Grin
