Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Happy shagging shaggers!

Good news Writer! Grin What will you do without something to worry about now?! Wink Last day of AF here, so time to get the cape back out of the cupboard. Can't be arsed to iron it though.

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 22:06

I'm sure I will find something else to worry about..... currently wondering about the safety of emptying my cat's litter tray!!

I am a total worrier!! I'm a Children's Nurse who works within a Health Visiting team so I'm armed with knowledge of all the things that can go wrong in pregnancy so that doesn't help matter, haha [grin

EssieSaysRelax · 21/07/2013 23:02

There's a blood test you can have for toxo-whatever its called isn't there? To find out if you are immune already?

Sudocrem fixes everything in my world. Spots, sunburn, shaving rash, that post waxing agony, most recently eczema, I'm sure it's safe for foofs! Eyes watering at thought of applying toothpaste there though.

My boobs are withering away to nothing? What's going on? :'( 10 wees today, less than yesterday but still too many, but could be something to do with being on hols with gran and her paranoia about getting dehydrated 'in this heat' despite the fact we spent most of the day in air con shopping centre.

ZingWidge · 21/07/2013 23:06

toxoplasmosis

actually writer as you have cats you should now be very careful about washing hands when handling cat litter.

DulcetMoans · 21/07/2013 23:25

Haha. What a lovely minty treat for DPs though! I can imagine it would tingle a bit! Glad you've got the BFP confirmation in writing now writer, must help keep the worries at bay!

Always got a tub of sudocream in the house, it's a saviour! Actually, wonder if it works in insect bites...

EssieSaysRelax · 21/07/2013 23:31

If you keep it in the fridge it's amazing on bites!

cookielove · 21/07/2013 23:34

Test day tomorrow

Dh is being a complete pillock we just had a blazing row in the car on the way home from the cinema lets not mention I started it and now all I wanna do is punch him in the face.

I've had a great day, on the beach, sun, friends, a few beers at home, then a minor incident with OH. Bad previous relationship means I'm always a bit paranoid. He insists its ok but that it's a kick in the teeth. Sigh. Generally we are amazing. Wish I could get over it!

coffeewineandchocolate · 22/07/2013 08:15

hi all. not checked in for a while as was feeling sorry for myself when AF came and have had family over since I snapped out of it a little. back on the jsing wagon with my new summer cape (with built in fans). hopefully this month will be more constructive

cookielove · 22/07/2013 08:29

DulcetMoans · 22/07/2013 08:38

Yay cookie! How exciting! Were you late at all? Bet DH was excited too!

Minion · 22/07/2013 08:40

cookie
Woohoooo congratulations! My god, when it rains, it pours on here!
I'm so happy that it's turned out ok writer

Mega news all round yah!

Talking of foof poison, DH once 'treated' me to a tub of pussy rub from the Ann of Summers sex emporium, and I use the 'treated' as liberally as possible... It's just a shame I used the rub liberally too.
My coochie was on fire and so very minty fresh I smelt like a roast lamb Sunday lunch.
Needless to say the moment was well and truly gone after that.

Well husband still hasn't made a move on me. So not only am I out this month but will be for the foreseeable judging by how things are going.

Oh well.
I'd probably be a shit mom anyways. The poor thing would be forced to watch star wars and xmen and won't have a tv/games console etc etc till they can take a part time paper round.

Well, I say that now but when those doe eyes hit me, who knows.

Husband just left for work and said 'cheer up, it might never happen'.. Which is precisely what I'm thinking.

Rockchick1984 · 22/07/2013 08:41

Yayyyyyyy Cookie!!!!! I'm so happy for you, what amazing news to wake up to today!!!!!! Xxx

Minion · 22/07/2013 08:41

Just realised cookie started the Fred and its worked again!
Ow pass that unicorn over.

DulcetMoans · 22/07/2013 08:54

Oh minion, they can be so insensitive! I made friends with a 1yr old this weekend, he loved me, when we left DP said 'too much baby on the outside, not enough on the inside'! I know he was joking but have a little sensitivity!

Cookie, come back and fill us in on the details!!

GaryBuseysTeeth · 22/07/2013 09:01

Congrats Cookie!! Flowers
Did you punch DH in the end? Possibly do it with the pee stick if he's still being an arse

Late congrats to Stoke & Writer, there's a JS grads fred, it's a bit empty atm but we're all lovely on the other side!

Hope this/next fred is a lucky one, I think it was #7 that produced 14 BFP's!

AndieDisestablishment · 22/07/2013 09:16

Congrats Cookie This reminds me if my first year at

cookielove · 22/07/2013 09:19

No i didn't punch dh, god how i wanted to he was being a total arse, of course now i love him and its all forgotten Grin

Hands out unicorn for rubs, he's extra lucky this one!!

I still have the bloody urine infection, so have managed to wangle a dr's appointment for tonight bloody miracle so will tell the doc i am up duffed then!!!!!! and hopefully i will get some antibiotics cause this is really winding me up!!

Thanks for all the congratulations.

I took a photo of the pregnant stick and i keep sneaking looks at when i can (which is actually quite hard to do as i my bag is kept about a 5 minute walk away from where i work)

Dulcet no not at all late was due today, and thought f**k it i'm gonna test, and low and behold it came up (very quickly) as pregnant!!

I did the test, went into a bit of a tizz of excitement went and woke up dh (as i take him into work) so basically said 'wake up, its time to get up for work and oh i am pregnant' shoving the test towards him that he couldn't see for several reasons, 1) he had just woken up and barely opened his eyes, 2) it was basically pitch black in the room Grin he held my hand and kissed it a few times, we cuddled and then i made him get up so he could come read it properly.

Then mr sensible said don't tell anyone else until we know for sure. But of course i had to tell my best friend and you lot!!!!!!!

....my first year at uni when three of us from the same module got upduffed in the same semester!!

Pregnancy has made my typing worse.

Minion That's quality parenting (except the console thing, DP is a console collector so we have a house full) our DCs all love Star Wars, XMen, comic book heroes. Just got my 2.5yr old DD into "Jem and the holograms" and "MyLittle Pony; Friendship is magic" but mostly she wants to be She-Hulk. Heehee.

Minion · 22/07/2013 09:55

I always wanted to be she-ra! She was awesome. Though looking back on it a little butch in the voice, posh but a bit manly.
I'm addicted to looking at pinterest on the 'parenting done right ' pins!
Brilliant.
Also a little jealous that I've not yet gone to comic con. There's always next year as there always an abundance of geeks around. After all we shall inherit the earth.

AndieDisestablishment · 22/07/2013 10:10

ComicCon is awesome, the cosplayers are really nice about having their photos taken with the kids and the kids think they've met superheroes, it's heartwarming. :)

fifi669 · 22/07/2013 10:32

Congratulations cookie! This Fred is looking good, hope the luck rubs off on me

Minion · 22/07/2013 10:43

Would they be cool with getting their pics taken with big kids too?

pizzaqueen · 22/07/2013 10:53

congratulations cookie!! So much good news on this fred.

My af disappeared today (yey!) so am getting ready to wear the cape. it's dp birthday today too and I got him a night away to posh hotel on Saturday, we will go for dinner and hopefully lots of drinks and JSing Wink
