Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

The link to the latest grads thread is here

Happy shagging shaggers!

First morning urine!
To be honest tho, no matter what time it came out, I'd rather not wash my clothes in it!

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 12:46

Talking of that - my cat pee'd all over my DH's football kit last night Grin

I don't know how that's relevant, haha Grin

Minion · 21/07/2013 12:47

stroke congratulations!
Wonder if the 'one glass of red a day is ok' will be enough for you to put the ladies vineyarders off your scent.
writer congratulations and a big finger crossing sesh for you xx
Well we've put the offer in and the hues now says sold stc on rightmove so reckon its all systems go now. Meeting with mortgage lady tomoz so getting a bit nervous about it.
Didn't manage to JS last week when I had the EWCM, possibly thinking hubby reads this forum, we share iPad and got spooked. It's the absolute last thing I want him to feel, all pressured etc so am gonna lay off for a while. Meant to be I guess.
It's disheartening though. It feels like he doesn't even fancy me anymore. I guess he's just worried about affording the move and to throw a baby in to the mix,...Gah. Oh well.
He still talks about schools etc so maybe the hope is there but filed as a last priority at the moment.
Think I'll bebhosting the mother of all pity parties at the new gaffe. Bring pineapple hedgehogs and babycham.
Sorry to bring you down too x

AndieDisestablishment · 21/07/2013 14:55

Frog I also have been using a washing liquid receptacle. One in the bathroom and one in the downstairs loo for wherever I needed to do that FMU

Minion Maybe your DH is like mine and put off by the pressure? Mine said he started to feel a bit used but now we have our BFP he's horny all the time again. Pfffft, men!

Redshoes56 · 21/07/2013 15:16

minion, I do agree with Andie men get all bent out of shape by the pressure. My DH went through this period of time where he was a bit spooked, but it was short lived now he's more crazed about it than I am, I think. It does help to just let things happen JS-style. We definitely don't want to them to feel like nothing more than a sperm donor. But don't they realize that it's hard not to "try" when you are "trying" if that makes sense? MEN!

writer maybe you should test the cat pee too, just to lighten the mood? I know I'd be freaking out if I were in your shoes too! Just hang in there!

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 15:23

Hi Redshoes

The panic is over Grin

Two tests I have taken this afternoon both came back as definite positives!! The latter was a Clear Blue Digital and the screen said: 'Pregnant 2-3."

Grin

Can't argue with that Smile

Redshoes56 · 21/07/2013 15:29

cookielove · 21/07/2013 17:49

Can I join in? We just started ttc in the last couple of weeks, kinda hoping for a bfp by Nov/Dec - we weren't going to start ttc quite so soon but we were on honeymoon and I couldn't be bothered fumbling around with the rubber things. Slim chance it'll happen straight away, anyway, and if it did that would be fine, too.

The first time we dtd without any safety net my OH straight afterwards went 'we might've just made a baby!' and it was the worst turn-off ever, don't ask me why. Very hard not to feel like you're trying when dtd but I don't like the feeling. Ah well, weirdo, I'll get used to it!

ZingWidge · 21/07/2013 18:44

redshoes Grin @ test the cat pee! brilliant! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

fifi669 · 21/07/2013 19:09

writer now stop worrying! You are upduffed, enjoy it!

EssieSaysRelax · 21/07/2013 19:35

Oh writer you poor thing, I've just read about today's fright, glad it's all ok now though. Grin

Welcome aloho, so know what you mean about the 'lets make a baby' thing, scares the crap out of me too and is the biggest turn off. Don't know why really, it's silly, but we humans don't cope with change very well so maybe it's just the transition from a lifetime (well you know what i mean) trying to prevent a pregnancy to actually the complete opposite!

Less weeing today so think I just drank too much yesterday. Usually have sore boobs by now in normal cycle though and none of that going on?

Bearfacedchic · 21/07/2013 20:01

Yay, writer! That's good to hear. Glad it's all worked out. Smile

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 20:11

Thanks guys Smile

It would have been funny if the cat pee turned positive - I would have had to put my detective hat on to work out which one of my kitties had been a naughty girl - and more importantly, who with Grin

ChocChaffinch · 21/07/2013 20:57

minion great news about the house, moving house is one of the MOST stressful of all life events though, so maybe your dp is doing the typical man thing of keeping all stress inside and not talking about it, that could affect his ''urges'' Grin

writer great news you BFP so the legs up is def the way to goo hmm Wink

aloho agree it's like your body is for you, an adult, to have sexy time fun and then you talk about babies and boobs suddenly morph into milk bottles and all desire is gone Grin you get used to ttc though..

ChocChaffinch · 21/07/2013 20:59

thanks for the foof sympathy, it was bearable today, not affecting my wees now just bit stabby pain right on top where wee comes out (sorry TMI) keep whacking sudocreme on it, seems to be working Hmm

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 21:00

Choc - my husband always thought it was hilarious when I had my legs in the air (and he kept telling me to get my feet of our new wallpaper) but he's not laughing now!!!! Grin

ZingWidge · 21/07/2013 21:49

Grin @ foof-poison!

choc if sudocream was foof-poison (ROFL) it wouldn't be a leading bottom rash cream for babies, now would it?!

just keep sodocreaming that foof

ChocChaffinch · 21/07/2013 21:51

sodo-what-ing it!!!!!!!! rudie. Grin Grin
