I just feel so sad and scared [cry] - and I know that is absolutely ridiculous seeing as it is our first month of trying but to go from 6 strong positives one day to then having 2 faint lines and a negative the next, well, it just can't be good can it

Ah writer I know its impossible hard but try not to worry. at this point what will be will be and you can't control it so stay hopeful, try and relax and do things to take your mind off and do what others suggest and test with a digi in a few days. I too have all body parts crossed for you.

Last night I really wanted to tell my sister and best friend (the 3 of us are really close and they know all the hassles I've gone through) but DH kept saying no, saying it was too soon. I had a little pout but he put his foot down. I guess I was just carried away in the excitement.

If I told him about this I'm pretty sure he will make a, "And this is why I said not to tell anyone," kind of comment which I don't think will help.

Hopefully all will turn out okay, writer and you've just been doing too much peeing. As others have said, try not to worry, although I know it's hard.

Try not to worry writer. Make a docs appt or call your early pregnancy unit for advice. Uncertainty is a tough thing to deal with so do whatever you need to, to put your mind at rest. Stay away from dr google too. Do a digi test in a few days (or a week if you can wait). Thinking of you

and another thing, a chemical pg wouldn't show any + at all on a test !

but you still had 2 today, so hopefully it's ok!

after my MC (11w+5 ) I still had enough hCG circling in my body, that when I did a test a few days later it still showed as BFP!

what I'm trying to say it that the hormone builds up gradually and also reduces gradually, it doesn't just cut off!
I think the negative test is red herring and a faulty result! I really do!

But could it be that the lines are more faint because my levels of hCG are falling?

I thought that in a chemical pregnancy the hCG levels rise when the egg implants but then they start to fall as the 'pregnancy' fails. I'm ashamed to say I have been on Dr Google a lot today and some women have said that their positive lines got fainter over the course of a few days and then they stopped appearing at all - and then the bleeding started

I'm praying I'm just over-thinking everything!!

but yesterday's were faint too after a negative one ( I read back what you said)
so I think it is difficult to say for sure what's up, but it doesn't mean it's over!

and as others said the amount you drink will influence the concentration of hCG - which is why morning pee is the best to test, more concentrated.

can you wait until tomorrow morning to test again?

I can test if I buy one today. The weird thing yesterday though was that the morning sample showed negative and then as the day progressed the lines got gradually more bolder.

I think I'm more bothered about the Clear Blue one as I took it at about 7pm last night and it instantly went strong positive. When I took the one this morning it took about 2 minutes for the line to appear and it was only faint.

I'm sounding obsessed!!!!! Must chill out!!!!

I have been peeing in one of Hubby's cups that he uses specifically when he has some squash - he doesn't know that though I keep having mental images of him drinking from it and wondering why his Orange Squash tastes stronger than normal.....

I like reading about people's pee receptacles! Mine was a little pot that u put the washing powder/liquid in. I had visions of putting it In the washer and washing my clothes in fmu!

When I tookl a test the other day I was at the mother's house of my best friend. I thought that type of test I'd bought was the type you could just hold in the urine stream but when I read the instructions they said I had to dip it in the urine!! I started to panic!! I started hunting through their bathroom cupboards, desperately looking for anything to pee in, haha - how inappropriate is that?!

Anyway - upon finding nothing and in complete desperation I decided to just catch my pee in the plastic packet the test came in!!

It wasn't an easy task!!!!
