Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Happy shagging shaggers!

oh Huzzah writer I'm thrilled for you! How superb! Grin

for the record I love the pregnant ones staying round and showing that it can be done!!

Ive had a urine-y-type-cystitis-y-type thing going on, which has made me feel like shite. Poor foof.

EssieSaysRelax · 20/07/2013 20:11

How many days late were you writer?

EssieSaysRelax · 20/07/2013 20:12

Oh choc sorry to hear that, how unpleasant, hope you feel better soon x

Writerwannabe83 · 20/07/2013 20:14

choc - I know this may sound weird but I've been having some cystitis-like symptoms for the last week or so. I would suddenly get this twinge in my foof and then the desire to go would just hit me! I have never had it before and it was playing on my mind a little but now I'm wondering if it is all related?? I don't have pain when I urinate, my urine is clear and healthy and I'm not unwell, I just have these funny twinges and urges.

Essie - I'm not late, I wasn't expecting AF until tonight/tomorrow morning

Smile
ChocChaffinch · 20/07/2013 20:28

writer --- 2 things affect the bladder in early pg,

  1. the bean! although tiny weeny, the extra stuff/lining/ weight on the bladder

  2. hormonal changes - progesterone softens all joints and ligaments including all of the muscles surrounding the bladder, you must take care not to life heavy things, and not to bend into crazy positions, it's easy to screw up your back while pg.

ChocChaffinch · 20/07/2013 20:30

I had a bad full blown bladder infec in early June, tbh since then my poor wee bits haven't been right.

Doc gave me antibiot for that one; hope to crumpets this one vamooshes by itself. Not fun to have a massive wee then get a panicky bladder message saying Bladder Full! Wee Now!

ChocChaffinch · 20/07/2013 20:33

thanks Essie dh doesn't get it at all

cookielove · 21/07/2013 00:09

How odd choc on Monday I woke up with the familiar twinges of a urine infection (suffered badly with them for about 6 months 2 years ago) constantly feeling like I need a wee, no pain but lots of discomfort Sad

Been drinking lots to flush it out.

Congratulations writer

So got a little bit emotional today at the battle proms, , they were talking about a spitfire that was the first plane to shot enemies on the beaches that had been lovingly restored over 5 years and they guy who did it died or few months after Completion in a car accident. So his wlfe learnt how to fly it for him and she was flying it tonight l almost cried when hearing the story and again when , retold it to my friend.

Also cried when we were heaving the car park as everyone was driving really aggressively and l Couldn't get out, So ended up panicky and crying.

Battle proms is fab though.

Yay!! Well done, Writer! You've only gone and done a Kitten. So pleased for you. Grin

Sorry about the poorly foof choc. Hope it feels better soon.

Thanks for all the supportive comments about the appt. Dtill really not looking forward to going but I'm sure I'll be alright when I get there.Confused

I ran 2.5km and cycled 20km today so my thighs are exhausted, but I have lost a couple of pounds and my shape is slowly changing, so I'm happy.

Hope everyone is having a lovely shaggy weekend.

Bearfacedchic · 21/07/2013 00:13

Sorry you've been teary Cookie. Considers it may be a sign I'd cry at that story too if I was there. Argh, it's so annoying being stuck in traffic/car parks too. At least you're home now. Thanks

Redshoes56 · 21/07/2013 04:01

Wow, we really ARE on a roll! Congratulations, writer!

DulcetMoans · 21/07/2013 07:56

Congrats writer! After everything you said about pregnant ladies!

Bit depressed today, we did so well with DTD EOD until Weds just gone, then things got in the way and I'm worried we missed it in the past couple of days. Why is this all so hard?!

Still anniversary today. 11 years! We have pizza for tea to celebrate!

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 08:04

Hold the Congratulations Sad - I did a pregnancy test this morning with Hubby as he hadn't been there with me yesterday, and although I still got a positive the line is obviously fainter than it was yesterday. We tried with a second brand for reassurance but that line was lighter too. Both tests we used this morning were the same ones I had used yesterday.

So now I'm panicking about a Chemical Pregnancy - I shouldn't have got so excited so quickly Sad.

Try not to worry about whether you missed the days - me and my hubby have only had sex 3 times this month and I still got the BFP!

frogchops · 21/07/2013 08:43

Hello all and some newbies.... Just thought I'd add since there's some hurty foofs going on... I had no symptoms at all of an infection but the dr at my first apt at 5 weeks said I def had one. Apparantly the hormones in early preg relax everything inside so much that the tubes carrying ur wee can kink, leaving bits of wee stuck in the bends leading to infection. I certainly wouldn't have known.... Didnt take long to go with anti biocs tho
Good luck poa/is ers!!

ZingWidge · 21/07/2013 08:44

writer fx for you

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 08:49

Thanks Zing

I've gone from happy to feeling shit in the space of about 7 hours Sad

DulcetMoans · 21/07/2013 08:56

Oh dear writer. We all wait for the BFP thinking it will be the end of our TTC journey but its really not, it's the beginning of a whole new world of worry. Hoping its just a blip for you and it will be even stronger tomorrow!

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 08:58

I know I'm at high risk of Chemical Pregnancy too because I've had the Mirena so that is only fuelling my anxiety. I'm hoping it is a blip too but something is telling me that I'm not that lucky Sad

Nessalina · 21/07/2013 09:27

Oh that sucks that the worry is getting in the way of the BFP joy! Boooo. Hold off the worry if that's even possible til you've seen a doctor, try & get an appt first thing tomorrow.
Fx that you get the right result. Thanks

Rockchick1984 · 21/07/2013 09:34

Writer it doesn't necessarily mean anything bad as long as you're still getting a faint positive - if you have drunk more over the last 24 hours then the HCG will be diluted more therefore fainter! Leave it a few days (if you can) then test again. Did you say you had done a digi test?

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 09:38

I'd love to see one tomorrow but I'm on training with work all day. I get Wednesdays off so I will definitely see one then. I have just used my last Clear blue and it is definitely a positive but still fainter than yesterday - saying that though, it was using my 3rd wee in just over 2 hours.

I only have 1 more pregnancy test in the house now and once it's gone, it's gone. No more obsessively testing for me, I'm just going to assume that unless I start bleeding, everything is fine Hmm

Writerwannabe83 · 21/07/2013 09:39

Sorry Rock Chick I think we cross posted Smile

Which ones are the Digi Tests? Are they more accurate than Clear Blue then

Rockchick1984 · 21/07/2013 09:42

I meant clear blue digital, sorry. The ones that just say "pregnant, 1-2 weeks" or whatever rather than letting you analyse lines. If you can get to asda that was the cheapest place I found them, a 2 pack for £10, use one tomorrow (or in a few days) then one a week later. Means you are unlikely to retest in that time, but there's no feeling quite like seeing that your number of weeks pregnant has gone up!!

cookielove · 21/07/2013 09:47

Morning all Grin

Writer l have all my body parts crossed for you!! Fingers, legs, toes, arms. I'm thinking positive for you and your Dh. l heard that the first response are the best!!
