cosmos I am using the injectable progesterone, to be honest I prefer to shove a bullet up my arse Hmm how many embies will you transfer ??

I have a scan on Wednesday which cannot come quick enough, I had a migraine for 3 days and couldn't cope any longer so took an imigran which my neurologist said I could, then I got all panicky about killing of my baby with drugs, then I threw up and felt fine, so I need the reassurance that everything is still ok Hmm almost tempted to go to EPAU but I think I'm pushing my luck with them, I just want to wake up and have a baby to hold Sad

buzzybee123 · 15/06/2013 12:16

mood not helped by Barry telling me that golden balls are the same as honey loops Angry really are they !!!!

Cosmos1 · 15/06/2013 13:07

Ah Buzzy keep going, you've done really well getting through the last few weeks. Glad you've got another scan coming up. Migraine's sound like a pregnancy symptom, though i'm sure it must have been painful, probably a good sign! Is the injectable progesterone painful? He said i'd have to take the bullets as well and go in twice a week to have the injections on top? Just in case obvs, not based on anything medical.... We'll have two put back as long as they thaw ok.

buzzybee123 · 15/06/2013 14:20

cosmos I have suffered from migraines for years but found that cranial osteopathy a great help, mine can go on for days though which is difficult as paracetamol does very little

my arse is black and blue but I am injecting everyday, I am also limited to where I can reach as Barry isn't here to help Hmm, the injection itself isn't too painful though, there is great debate on which is better pressaries or the injections

EuroShaggleton · 15/06/2013 18:46

Yep, cosmos it was the downregging drugs that I had a hard time. I'm not hugely concerned about taking some stimms. Particularly as they are saying they will probably mean that EC comes forward a day or two - they were talking about probably Friday - so I wouldn't be on them for long at all.

Sorry about the hurty head, buzz. I go migraines as a teen and then one when I was on Letrozole. I don't envy you.

buzzybee123 · 15/06/2013 20:15

euro the migraines had improved so much over the past few months with the CO and its just that I can't take the migraine meds although neurologist said I could take imigran but I really don't want to but I can't go days and days with a migraine either Sad i'm wondering if its the progesterone stuff i'm now using Hmm

GinSoaked · 16/06/2013 09:42

cosmos I felt very much like you before our FET, with 4 perfectly good embryos having done nothing I didn't see how it could possibly work, but I think it is often just a numbers game. Are you doing a natural or medicated cycle? Wishing you lots and lots of good luck.

buzz sorry to hear about the migraine. It sounds awful. I had constant headaches the first month or so and have been hit a few times by proper migraine and not being able to take proper drugs. I'm sure the tablet you took will be fine, but totally understand your worry. Could you ask a midwife for some advice? Not long until the next scan! Wish I had another one coming up soon.

Wowzers euro, 15 possible egglets? A few druks to get as many as poss seems like a really good idea and will give you the best possible chance (and possibly produce something for the freezer). If you do ever do a full mild cycle, you must make sure they put you on the lowest dose of stims, or you'll end up with 30 or so eggs! However it doesn't sound like you will need it...

Not much to report here. PILs are here which is nice, although Dave appears to be in a grump and has been pulling the martyr act, pretending he does everything about the house. Men eh? Not long until our hollibubs now. Can't wait!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 16/06/2013 12:44

Afternoon lovely ladies,

Sorry I've been so absent, I feel like I've dropped off from TTC-land, being on the pill pre-IVF. It is weird and taking it every night makes me a bit :( but the good news is that I am halfway through the packet. It all ties really well with work (which is why we went ahead this cycle) and I'll start DR-ing after I come back from a work-trip on Thursday. That is also why I am here, only three presentations in the next week, and stupidly I emailed myself a previous version from one of those, so I can completely start over... So I'll be around. But I am a bit knackered so cannot get my head around where everyone is.

But hurrah for sickness buzz not long to wait now. Sorry about the migraines though, they sound evil.

Wow 15 follies, euro. That seems a little excessive. And EC on Friday is not long. How much stimming will they give you? I really hope this will give you the result you want and some for the freezer.

Sorry you've been worried about being broken mrsd. I am sure it is just the drugs working their way out of your system.

Fingers crossed for the well-travelled embies cosmos. When will you be doing your FET?

I'd love you to cycle with me, madness. So fingers crossed you are okay to do one in July!

How are things now pout? I hope you are having a nice weekend and get ready to have Colin implanted in not too long.

Woohooooooo about the house and being in before the baby princess. Can't wait to hear about a safe arrival soon. Same for you in month or two arte, your pregnancy has flown by, at least to me. Sorry about the scares, though. You are on the home straight!

Waves and tail feathers, especially to those I missed!

buzzybee123 · 16/06/2013 17:53

I have just had some bright red blood Sad

EuroShaggleton · 16/06/2013 19:13
Cosmos1 · 16/06/2013 19:41

Hang in there Buzzy, big hand squeeze. You're having such a tough time, I have everything crossed this is just a scare. Have you had any more?

buzzybee123 · 16/06/2013 20:11

yeah i'm still bleeding dark red now Hmm

seaviewasia · 16/06/2013 21:08

buzz - hand hold. is there someone medical you can call?
i really hope it"s nothing and just the harmless spotty that can sometimes happen
big hug

GinSoaked · 17/06/2013 09:29

Oh no buzzy. I really really hope everything is ok today at EPU. Must be frigging terrifying.

Waves to everyone else. Will be back later.

EuroShaggleton · 17/06/2013 11:24

buzz how are things this morning? Did you get to the EPU?

AFM, I've had my second scan. After 2 injections, 8 of the 15 follies are growing, which is a great result for the low drug approach. The dr reckons we might get half that number at EC, which I would be very happy with. I was expecting 1!

seaviewasia · 17/06/2013 12:04

Well done on the egg laying

Buzz. Hope all is okay. Thinking of you and hoping all is okay.

seaviewasia · 17/06/2013 12:05

Well done on the egg laying euro!

ThatWayMadnessLies · 17/06/2013 12:31

At work but a hand hold for buzz and a cheer for euro. Will be back later to catch up.

mrsden · 17/06/2013 13:11

Joining in the hand holding for buzz

euro that's fantastic. 4 is great and there's a very good chance now for fertilisation, which means you are likely to have at least one embie transferred. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Poutintrout · 17/06/2013 13:43

buzz hope that everything is okay today. Thinking of you.

euro great news on the follies.

cosmos I have wondered about some kind of meditation & might have a little look on the net.
I know what you mean about new regimes and being reluctant to follow them when you know you probably won't commit 100%.

I bought some vit B complex supplements at the weekend. I think it was sar who mentioned recently that a B12 deficiency can sometimes be problematic when TTC. So obviously I will now get upduffed this cycle Wink

CritterPants · 17/06/2013 16:37

Hi guys

Sorry to have been away so long. Had a lovely break in West Virginia with sister critter, slept loads and ate my body weight in fruit and crisps.

buzz Oh no how frightening for you. I do so hope everything is ok and that this is just a horrible scare. Thinking of you.

euro that's amazing news about the eggs! Will be sending you lots and lots of love and luck for EC on Friday.

lemon I was an LP girl like you... it is weird taking the pill again, but remember I had a great result at the end and there is every chance you will too! Really really sending you tons of positive thoughts. It feels like the process takes forever but the time does pass and you'll be at EC before you know it! Hang in there.

cosmos wishing you lots and lots of luck for your FET, I did Smile at your travelling embies.

mrsd October sounds like a great time to do a cycle - you can have a nice calm summer off and then maybe a summer 2014 baby! Hope you're doing ok my lovely.

Sorry for everyone I've missed. Just digging my way through a pile of emails after my week away. Feeling very tired and sicky but all in a wonderful cause. Huge love to you all, and a big bowl of summer fruit and ice cream to those in the tent, fed up, exhausted, scared and sad.

ThatWayMadnessLies · 17/06/2013 19:42

Still thinking of you buzz.

Glad you've had a lovely break critter. Balancing out the crisps with fruit is very admirable Grin.

lemon I would love to cycle with you but, for the sake of my marriage, I think that we're going to opt for August. We have a few things planned for July and would really like to spend some time together and maybe book a last minute holiday. If we wait to see if there's a cancellation spot for July and then they tell me that there isn't one I will have wasted my whole summer. They won't be able to tell me either way until I go for my next injection which isn't until the tenth of July. I just need to be able to plan. Being on the pill again must be strange but I have found that the impossibility of pregnancy was a bit of a welcome break from the menkulling and symptom spotting. IUI worked for you once, I have very high hopes for ivf!

cosmos mid cycle bleeding is the pits. I've always thought post IV bleeding can't be a good thing. How does the egg not end up coming out Hmm. Very excited for your fet. Maybe the change of scenery will do your embies good Grin.

Surely joy must be back soon??? That is one heck of a holiday!

euro a post cycle holiday sounds good to me. Are you a lazing by the pool holidayer or a sight seeing one? MrM and I are long walks on windy beaches people, interspersed with good food and for me a good mystery novel.

AFM my period symptoms have now turned up, after a week of bleeding ffs! Mood swings have also started. Poor MrM Sad. I am better prepared for the hot flushes this time and will only be on it for two months instead of four so I think I can hack it. Having my dinner cooked for me at the moment while I watch telly. There are some perks Wink

ThatWayMadnessLies · 17/06/2013 19:44

Post ov bleeding - bleeding after an IV probably not great news either though......

sarlat · 17/06/2013 22:04

Sorry not updated for a few days. I am one poorly lady. Sending tight hugs to buzz. I am so sorry for this new stress. Let us know how you get on. Will update when I can. Luffs to alll, xx

MuddyWellyNelly · 17/06/2013 22:54

Buzzy hope you are ok. :(. Been thinking of you all day.

Sad sorry you are so poorly.

Euro that's awesome!

Critter glad you had a nice week.

I think Princesschick may have a baby Grin. .
