And now I weeping over this thread and cuddling the resistant cat tearfully.

EuroShaggleton · 17/04/2013 17:10

Oh Hest. I'm sorry you are feeling psycho. I was ok on the progesterone but one of the 10+ ladies had the same experience as you.

evilgiraffe · 17/04/2013 17:34

Ugh, no fun, hest. I think Domino's Pizza gave me food poisoning yesterday, I have spent all day exploding from both ends and have a raging temperature. And we're supposed to be going out for dinner and a play tonight, too :(

alwyn · 17/04/2013 18:41

I'm just about to get ready for my first pole dancing lesson. This is a good thing, as I weighed myself this morning. Hmph.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 17/04/2013 19:19

Oh evil, sorry you are poorly.

Hesty, that thread made me teary too Sad

If anyone is really bored this evening, they are live-streaming the horse sales this evening. It's a sale of unraced two year olds, so they're all still babies getting ready for their first race.

Hesty this thread might make you feel better on the cat front. Nest of vipers my arse!

Omg! I got as far as "quiet mewing". You had me at quiet mewing......

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 17/04/2013 22:24

Read it through to the end - it's got a happy ending Grin

The kitten thread is fab!

TWinklyLittleStar · 17/04/2013 22:38

When I started reading it I momentarily forgot I haven't lived in Catford for years and was about to go assist in the rescue :)

EuroShaggleton · 17/04/2013 22:48

I've been following that too, frank. CHAT is 10 mins up the road from me. I might have to visit....

TWinklyLittleStar · 17/04/2013 22:51

We are getting to the stage where we need to think about a feem .

HesterShaw · 17/04/2013 23:01

I vote for more of the same.

"This is the BESH thread - that stands for Bitter. Evil. Selfish. Hags. If that's not you, there's the twatting door."

HesterShaw · 17/04/2013 23:02

I want a kitten RIGHT NOW!

CaptainMoll · 17/04/2013 23:07

If I could have given birth to kittens, I would have had my baybees years and years ago.

Sorry for the feeling crapness. Hairstrokes.

EuroShaggleton · 17/04/2013 23:11

I'd go with that, Hest.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 18/04/2013 05:36

Morning hags!

Many very belated congrats on ultra-quick laying faif. Sorry I have not popped in before. After work I collapse in bed very rapidly and sleep til 5am. So here I am. Pre-work. Hope the jetlag shifts this weekend!

Sorry for the meh-ness. Tomorrow I work from home so will catch up on the fred!

Good theme hester!

Northey · 18/04/2013 06:29

Ace feem, hest. I hate to reopen the bitter/barren debate, but should we not go for barren, to make it clear this is actually a fred for the laydeez what cannot conceive at the drop of a butterdish? Otherwise we might get all sorts of delightfully grumpy posters who are grumpy about their children rather than their Teflon wombles.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 18/04/2013 07:00

Aye to the fee. You can start the new fred Hesty - tag, you're it!

Glad everyone else enjoyed the kitten fred. You can't go wrong with a kitten! Did I tell you about the latest on our Maine Coon quest? The mum cat was barren after two visits to the Tom (yes, I appear to be contagious Hmm), but the owner finally thinks she might be up the duff. Got to wait and see now.

Northey · 18/04/2013 07:08

I want a kitten! Fertility clinics should give them out as distracting consolation prizes.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 18/04/2013 07:51

Did you watch Scrubs when that was on? There was an episode where JD daydreamed about tipping a box full of little mewling kittens onto patients after giving them bad news. We need that.

CD56 here and still no ovulation. Peed on an Internet cheapy just in case - arctic. I'll call the clinic next week to see what the plan is next.

Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Duh. Twat. You would think that having been one for three years I would have known the actual meaning of BESH, wouldn't you? Thank you for pointing it out in your gentle, polite, but firm way dear Frank Grin

OK, substitute "bitter" for "barren".

Funny isn't it? The OrigiBESH simply classed themselves as "Mid thirties TTC their first child", whereas we are fiercely barren. In fact, a few months ago, one of them barged came in here pointing this fact out (though only after NCing Hmm ). When I first joined I merrily waltzed in after TTC for a month, just thinking they were funny and I wanted to be in the cool gang. That first month was my most hopeful yet - fainting in the shower, two days late etc. Turns out I just had a virus. Since then, nada. I must have just known I would be barren.

Maybe we should be fluffier and nicer and more welcoming?

TWinklyLittleStar · 18/04/2013 11:29

We are nice. Just particular.

HesterShaw · 18/04/2013 11:33

I, for instance, am the nicest person on Mumsnet. Trufact.

Northey · 18/04/2013 11:36

CD47 here and still nothing either. FFS. Give me a droid or a baybee! I'll currently happily take either. I think it's a week since I last wasted a fiver. Maybe I'll have another go at that. Though for the last three days I have had a single instance per day of a teeny tiny amount of brown string do maybe that heralds something or other.
