Trying to Conceive Thread . . . .3!!

Right oh.

I thought the TTC Thread no. 2 was getting a bit depressing and we all need cheering up with extra sprinkles of babydust, so I thought I would start a new thread.

I also have a motive - having looked back at the last 4 ttc threads I have noticed (being the sad person I am) that the thread originators all became pg during the life of the thread.

So . .

Here's me:

24 years old, DD 16 months, ttc since September.

Anyone joining me on this nw, happy thread?

Hi there folks! Been temping since sunday and arrival of AF but I think I must be doing something wrong, as my temperature readings are off the bottom of the chart! I have to do the reading about 6 times to get a stable reading. I am following the instructions properly. Any advice?

Hi Ermentrude. How low are your temps? Is it a basal body temp thermometer? If you havent joined Fertility Friends, do so now. IT is free and they will analyse your charts and give advice/answer your questions etc. It is a very useful site.

Hi bunny - 35.1 is the lowest - but then I try afew more times and it changes to 36.something.

I am using a BBT thermomter and following the instructions religiously - the charts in the leaflet don't go as low as 35.something.

I have joined fertility friends but haven't put informtion in yet - will do that this evening.

Could I have a faulty thermometer?

Bunny2 and Ermentrude too - I didn't realise AF had arrived. I've been temping for the first time this month (but only started CD7) - unfortunately have no advice about your low temperatures. I have noticed that after I temp first thing (normally in the dark - arrgh, why isn't the display back-lit?) and check it later, the temperature shown straight away is the accurate one, but then it defaults to 36.5. I'm in two minds about this temping business - while it is nice to gain a better understanding of your cycle, it makes you obsessed every single day of the month, rather than just ov-time and the end of the cycle.

Oh BUnny, I am sorry Well, new cycle, new Clomid, new set of sessions. Wishing you lots of luck!! You too Jellycat, Ermentrude and all of you!!!! ChaCha, if you're absolutley sure about your ov day then it is slightly early for an imp bleed as the others have said. However there are some charts on FF that do show imp on day 5. I'll try and have another look later and see if these reulted in pgcy or not.

Cha Cha, just had alook. Good news is 3 out of the 10 pgcy charts I looked at had a dip/spotting 5 DPO, BUT the chances of a successful pgcy occuring were when the dip/spotting was 7-8 DPO. However there were plently of pgcy charts with a dip/spotting at 5 DPO!!!!
HTH you. BTW. a pgcy test will work best now 7 days after a possible implantation if that helps you!!!!!

Sorry if this is being a bit bumptious, but could we think about starting up a new ttc thread soon? This thread is taking LOADS of time for my computer to load!

Quackers, Thankyou so much for taking time out to find out. I called doc today and he said the tablets shouldnt have caused the bleeding and that implantation could have happened DPO4!!!!! I want to be so excited but must wait until next week. The cramping is still here but not so bad, a bit like AF but not if you know what i mean.

I am not ready for another let down

Hugs to all of you who didnt get the BFP this cycle but sending you lots of Baby Dust.

(((hugs))))
