Me first this time. Smile

It may only be May 4th, but I'm out for this month (although technically AF due 30th May - I just like starting new threads).

thanks hopecat will remember that gonna try and bd every night until af comes or hopefully this will be our lucky month and she won`t be around for a while

Jenswish · 15/05/2006 08:56

Morning all,

Looks like I'm moving over here, AF arrived on Sunday so CD2 here. Cant wait for her to move on as its a rather painful stay this time.

Am happy to see AF tho as it means my cycles may be getting back to something of normal. So far the 3 cycles I've had in 5months have lasted 34, 43 and now 32 so getting there perhaps.

Its my birthday in June so would be lovely to get a BFP for it.

TuttiFrutti · 15/05/2006 10:10

Welcome Jenswish. Let's hope we all have better luck in June.

Thanks Pussycatmomma for the Persona info. They sound great but a bit expensive, so won't splash out just yet!

Hopecat · 15/05/2006 11:44

Morning! Rushing in the out again - busy today. Want to sit still and eat biscuits, but can't.

Hi Jenswish - seen you on the earlier threads. Glad to hear your cycles are shortening a bit. It's horrible when they're late and you get your hopes up isn't it?

CD13 today. Trying BDing in the morning. Was fine yesterday (Sunday), but isn't going to be so much fun tomorrow before work. Plus DH is not a morning person (Understatement).

Tadpoles are supposed to swim faster in the morning (or so I've heard), and we'll give them a cup of coffee to really get them going.

OP posts:
Jenswish · 15/05/2006 13:21

lol hopecat. Tadpoles faster in the morning? Must remember that.

I've been on the Trying for a positive threads since they started in January but I've stayed mostly on the Chat threads as due to af's being strange lengths and trying to change jobs I havent been as active as I should have so all i'll be doing is just dropping in to keep an eye on you all and to let you know if anything exciting happens to me :)

ruthlouise · 15/05/2006 18:37

Hello everyone, can I join you please?

Have been sitting on the ttc after m/c thread since late m/c in March (18+3)and actually began to think I might be pg a few days ago as I'd OV'd on 3rd/4th May and had one incident of slight spotting on 11th May (which I thought might be implantation). However full AF arrived with a vengeance on yesterday (first since m/c)so guess I'm now on CD2 or should I count days from when I had spotting?.

Also, I heard that if the time between OV and AF is very short that you should take Vitamin B6 to help regualte the luteal phase of your cycle, is that true? does anyone know, can I do any harm if I take it unecessarily?

Anyway, sorry to ask all these questions so soon Wink but am glad that we can officially begin ttc'ing with a 'last AF' date.

Also nice to recognise a couple of friendly 'faces' here Smile although I'd rather, like me, that you weren't here iyswim

We will be going away at the weekend and won't be around for a further 10 days so thought I'd introduce myself before rather than after as it takes me ages to get my head around who people are!

mummy2jake · 15/05/2006 22:52

hi ruthlouise just thought id weclome you everyone on heres lovely and theres always someone here if theres anything you wanna ask or just type away as i usually do good luck ttc hope fully well all getting those bfps were all hoping for

mummy2jake · 15/05/2006 22:54

meant to say sorry about your m/c
enjoy your break
and speak to you soonSmile

mummy2jake · 15/05/2006 22:55

cd 1 is when full af is present i think

Hopecat · 16/05/2006 12:21

lol at mummy2jake keeping forgetting to say things.

CD1 is definitely 1st full day -spotting doesn't count.

Me & DH managed to BD this morning. I really had to mummy him - cup of coffee in bed with cinammon etc. He truly is a nightmare in the mornings.

He managed to perform though (although he doesn't believe me about morning sex - he says he can feel a bigger wad in the evening - how charming) and we both managed to get to work on time.

Hey Jen - I don't trust myself to join chat threads. I'd never get any work done. I'm self-employed as well, so there's no-one to sit on me and make me do it.

CD14 today. Swim tadpoles SWIIIIM!

babydriver · 16/05/2006 13:05

Hi folks, just popping in again. Lots of new posts since last week - hello to everybody.

Am definitely having a very odd month. Temperatures all over the place so have no idea if I've ov'd or not. But the weekend away was lovely, and in the end we didn't have to share with DS so got a little bit of BDing (too tired, mostly!). Not feeling very positive for a positive June at the mo, but hope that there will be a good batch of bfp's for everyone else.

Take care all.

Jenswish · 16/05/2006 14:23

Hi again, CD3 here. Thought AF was off but then came back AGAIN with avengence! lol.
Im no good now I've got the chat threads, I'm sitting at work while I'm typing this Shock Oops. lol

peachygirl · 16/05/2006 17:40

I'm saying Hi again as Af arrived last night. Have decided not to temp o use person this month trying for the sex every 2/3 days tactic instead. Good luck everyone. Smile

stol · 16/05/2006 18:17

Hi every one , hope thats there is lots of bd going on for people Grin. I am on CD 9, DH is away tonight so we are just going to BD every other day until AF arrives i think!! Good luck to every one for BFPs xx

Coriander73 · 16/05/2006 19:38

Good luck Peachy :)

Hopecat · 17/05/2006 10:17

Hi Peachy - sorry about AF Sad. I'm not using temping or OV sticks this month - just checking CM & cervix - seems the most helpful thing for me.

CD15 today, so nothing to report (except the BDing - obviously).

When you're TTC the months go quickly but the days go slowly don't they. Doesn't make sense.

OP posts:
pussycatmomma · 17/05/2006 18:36

Hiya everyone....
Sorry to hear about you joining us for june peachy, but lovely to have a friendly face with me now! ((not that everyone else isnt friendly!))
Am on day 6, am trying to be as inconspicuous as poss with dh this month, no mentioning of bd, no mention of persona (but will still use), no tantrums when he doesnt want to, Just a calm, collected, relaxed pusscat. Hell, Im not gonna worry, Ive sent out my Cosmic Order, so my bfp has to be on its way this month, its the latest for delivery before my birthday!!
Im waffling now arent i? .................
I'll get my coat Blush
Am using pre-seed, persona, and aiming for bd every day or every other day. If that fails whenever i can convince dh! Am not bothering with spitty/licky isiscope ferny pattern thing, too much of a faff imo.
How is everyone else??? Who will be first to test out of this group??
Anyone left on the May thread? I think i saw Trace and Coggy but not sure who else.
Love and babydust to all
(((((((((hugs)))))))))))pusscat x x x x

maazaa · 17/05/2006 20:25

Evening Ladies, how are you all?

Lovely DH has gone upstairs to watch footie so I can watch House of Tiny Tearaways with the lovely Dr Tanya! True Love!

Auntie Flo has pretty much gone and I am on day 7. Feeling pretty chipper. DH has exams this week and next so won't pressure him, but hope for bd-ing every 2-3 days like you pussycat. Feel much better about the ttc-giving up career dilemma. having a baby is just too important to us to worry and have years left for career later! Saw friend at weekend who is expecting twins (accidental conception!!!) and if she can do it, so can I, mother nature allowing!!!

shrimpy169 · 17/05/2006 21:09

hummmpphhh... have been lurking hoping to join a "due in ...." thread but just hasnt happened hence deciding to join (if thats ok?) this ttc thread...af just saying her fairwell for this month and whilst shopping today agonised over wether should re-stock with sanitary protection...i did :(

maazaa · 17/05/2006 21:21

hey there!! well, if you re-stocked then it will just be a nice surprise rather than a pressured month and only a few wasted quid when you get pg!! Am on day 7 with af just away, so must be similar!

peachygirl · 17/05/2006 21:46

Hi just thought I pop back and remind new ladies that there is a stats thread and a chat thread which is quite busy during the day

Hopecat · 18/05/2006 11:13

Hello - CD16 today - the 2ww begins again.

Only ended up BDing twice this time round. We were planning to last night, but I got in really late, and anyway my CM has gone creamy and I'm all spongey in my ladies parts. (Sorry if TMI).

So less chance than other months statistically, but we're still in with a chance I suppose.

How's everyone else doing?

OP posts:
babydriver · 18/05/2006 13:36

Howdy all.

Now on CD23 I think, so really I was a bit eager to join this thread! Anyway, nice to be here if you don't mind.

Have now figured out the funny cycle I've been having and realised that I ov'd the night when DH and I just looked at each other and decided we were too knackered, and the next night too. So, vanishingly small chance of a bfp, but never give up until the fat lady sings... or should that be flows?

And to add insult to injury, my PA's just told me she's pregnant. So now I get to look at a pg woman all day, lucky me.

Hopecat · 18/05/2006 14:10

You're PA's pg eh?

I never let myself feel jealous about anything - but actually I think I do need to let myself be jealous - it's only a natural feeling after all. As long as I don't let it affect the way I treat the person I'm jealous of.

2 of my best friends are PG at the mo, and I'm really happy for them, but I'm not seeing them too often.

Anyway Babydriver, sperm can live for up to 5 days in the fallopian tubes, so don't give up yet. You could be making an announcement to your PA soon.
