Me first this time. Smile

It may only be May 4th, but I'm out for this month (although technically AF due 30th May - I just like starting new threads).

I disappeared to watch BB and thought how sad I am!! Glad you are too!!
Did you want Grace out? Did anyone want to keep her in?

I thought that was unusal for you Trace.
Why did you test this month? A clomid hopeful like me?

coggy · 16/06/2006 22:34

Why are we all due on Father's Day (well...when I say are for me I mean were!!! Sad)

Sexonlegs · 16/06/2006 22:35

I am going to be even more sad now, and go to bed! See you all tomorrow. Sweet dreams, and lots of baby dust. xxxx

DebbsyandBibby · 17/06/2006 10:04

Sexonlegs · 17/06/2006 10:49

That's great news D and B. I hope your pregnancy goes well, and thank you again for your best wishes to those of us who are still hanging on in there! xx

wannaBe1974 · 17/06/2006 11:12

hiya all :)

Debs I was only wondering the other day how you were :) am guessing it must be going well?

Well cd27 here and have some spotting this morning so an indicator that af is on its way. Ah well onwards and upwards ... looks like that holiday in Florida is still on for next year lol.

Will most likely lurk on the july threads to see how you all are, although of course some of you might still get your BFP's this month, but not sure I'll be doing much posting now as tbh I don't really think there's much point. It's been 13 months now and nothing. Think I might even have felt better if I'd managed to get pregnant and had a m/c, and obviously not taking away from those who've had m/cs as can't imagine what you've been through, but if I'd been through that I would at least know I could conceive, but haven't even had that. Just 13 months of trying, having late cycles, spending a fortune on pregnancy tests, even gp thinking I was pregnant and for what. Tbh I don't even think the people on here think I'll get pg :).

Anyway winge over sorry, I do generally go through this most months, this month I was very good and didn't count days or look out for signs or anything so wasn't really expecting to be pregnant, guess part of me just hoped that the not concentrating on it might have a positive effect, guess I was wrong :)

wannaBe1974 · 17/06/2006 11:21

sorry, I just read through that and it came across as extremely insensitive and I apologise. I didn't mean to imply that I sish I'd had a m/c or anything, more that if I had I would at least know I was able to conceive iyswim? it was in no may meant to be disrespectful to anyone who has been through the trauma of a miscarriage, so if I offended anyone then I apologise :)

peachygirl · 17/06/2006 11:25

wannabe I think you will make it you are STILL YOUNG!!! we are the same age.
{Be ready for peachy's stern teacher voice}

I think you should get checked out at the doctor, see a gynae, find out about DH's swimmers then make such a big decision. You could even take a break - go back on the pill for a few months to completly take the pressure off then try agin when you feel ready

coggy · 17/06/2006 12:51

WannaBe.....I am sure that it will happen for you.
It took me nearly 5 years ttc before I fell pg with my ds so it's never worth giving up totally! At the time, I often felt like it was all a waste of time and effort. I felt quite jealous when a close friend fell pg even though she'd been getting stressed after only a few months and I also was not as sympathetic as I should have been when she had a m/c. I felt underneath the same as you have said - at least she can try again knowing that she can conceive.

My ds died and, after taking almost exactly 12 months of ttc again, I take NO comfort from the fact that I've done it once!! I keep thinking that could have been my only chance!!

But I TOTALLY sympathise with you and how you feel - I have been there several times.

My dh actually said last night that we should look into adoption which completely threw me as I NEVER thought he would see that as an option. I guess we're both getting fed up with nothing happening.

Take care.
X

Hopecat · 17/06/2006 13:15

Afternoon ladies. CD17 for me today. Been at work this morning, and am shattered as couldn't sleep last night due to dreadful hayfever.

Already looking out for PG symptoms, obviously.

Wannabe, is it deinitely AF? Fingers crossed until you kow for sure. Think Peachy gave very sensible advice. Have a break then get it all checked out.

Coggy - we both think adoption is the way forward for us if we can't conceive. The decision will be forced on us to a certain extent, as if I don't fall PG by December that's pretty much it for us.

There are so many unwanted kids out there - it's heartbreaking. I'm sure could love 2 - or 3 - or 4 - of them as if they were my own.

OP posts:
ssshh · 17/06/2006 14:26

think i've just got a BFP!!!!!

Only cd 28 today and AF can be anywhere between 3 - 6 weeks. But I'm so impatient... just tested with an old clear blue test that was in back of cupboard. Didn't even have instructions for it so had to look up on internet to see what it meant - faint but definite line in square window and one in round window..

So i'm pregnant aren't I?

Really can't believe it. This is our first month of trying and i haven't felt any different so didn't think i was preg. Had a few glasses of wine last night which i'm now regretting..

Just cannot believe it. Think i'll test again in a few days, but a line is a line eh?

Means I'm due 24th February.

Oh my total goodness!

Fingers crossed for those of you still hoping for a positive June.

xxxxxxxx
