Me first this time. Smile

It may only be May 4th, but I'm out for this month (although technically AF due 30th May - I just like starting new threads).

Couldn't resist and did test last night, BFN of courseSad.
Was so stupid of me as I'm sure if I ov at all it was around cd21 and I'm on cd31 today so could be a bit early, but am now all disappointed for nothing and will of course put myself through this again in a few days if af doesn't show! Keep having dreams all my friends are pregnant too. Really must stop obsessing...

trace2 · 17/06/2006 18:32

congrats to the two bfpGrin,

am jumping to july thread as came this morning

coggy · 17/06/2006 22:16

Sorry about your BFN Bobblehead.
Shame about AF Trace. So many BFPs this month - lets hope we'll be the new ones for July eh?

Sexonlegs · 18/06/2006 09:07

Morning all. Well, that's me done on the June thread. AF came with a vengeance this morning. Disappointed but not surprised. Didn't get the achy/heavy boobs that I get normally - a blessing in disguise I guess.

So, good luck to those still hoping for a positive June, and see you on the July thread to the rest.
xx

wannaBe1974 · 18/06/2006 12:03

morning all :)

firstly, Coggy, so sorry for what you've been through in the past, I now realize totally that my comment of yesterday was very very insensitive and apologise. Your story certainly put my own inability to conceive a second child into perspective, and I realize that I have everything to be grateful for.

SOL sorry to hear about AF, at least it was on time for you though so no wondering which imo can be worse than if af arrives on time.

Trace sorry to hear about af as well :).

To the two BFP's many congrats :).

Well I'm on cd28 now, still have minor amount of spotting but it's hardly even enough to require protection so certainly isn't sufficient to call af. Am hoping that af will arrive in next day or so, but am starting to think that this is going to be another cycle like the one I had the month before last where spotting is all I have. Except this time I'm not going to test and I'm not going to try and convince myself I'm pregnant, lol.

coggy · 18/06/2006 13:52

WannaBe - I didn't post yesterday to make you feel bad...please don't apologise.

I wanted you to know that you are normal and I have felt exactly the same.

I, personally, took no offence whatsoever to your comments. I actually think that you are refreshingly honest. I have never said how I felt about my friend before and about how, although it's fantastic to see so many bfps on here, it also someitmes makes you feel worse because it's more concentrated than real life.
In RL you may have a handful of pg people around but on MN because we are all ttc there are so many more pg which highlight the fact that you are not!

I think it's good to give it a break every now and again.
Take care
X

wannaBe1974 · 18/06/2006 19:54

hiya again all :)

well .. af has arrived in full force and ... I've! had! a! 28! day! cycle!!! so, if you look out the windows you might actually see some pigs fluttering past, lol.

Hopecat · 18/06/2006 20:32

Evening all.

CD18 today. No BDing as DH is poorly - boo.

Congratulations Rachee and Shhh...!! Grin

SOL & Trace - sorry about AFs Sad

bobblehead - fingers crossed AF doesn't arrive for you.

Wannabe - hope this month is clearer cut for you.

Hello coggy!

So is it just me, becky and bobblehead left on this thread?

Got major PMT moodiness this weekend. Poor DH. Also (TMI) constipation. Let the symptom-spotting commence!

Hopecat · 18/06/2006 20:34

X thread wannabe. Glad you've had a 'normal' cycle. Maybe you were PG last month & MCed - who knows.

OP posts:
wannaBe1974 · 18/06/2006 20:47

lol no idea what last month was all about but let's hope it was my first and last such experience. Still don't think it will every happen, but at least I've had a 28, and thus normal cycle this month and that has to be a start. Hc will keep fingers crossed that af doesn't turn up :)

Beccy1974 · 18/06/2006 21:46

hi chums; still here too, yes

cd whatever, lost count. am so organised! (not). last af was june 1 or june 2, one of two, and think cycle about 30 days. who knows!

all i know is i'm sure i'll be getting a visit from af too. quite emotional this w'end and fate's just not smiling on me.

enjoy what is left of w'end.. not much .. and hope evreone has a good week :-)

cazzybabs · 18/06/2006 22:33

My Af started yesterday...horrid thing!

Am now in a dilema as would like a baby who is old in the school year ie born Sept - March...do I try one more month! OH god I know I will end up with an Aug. baby - well if I end up at all that is!

bobblehead · 18/06/2006 22:48

I'm sort of hoping af does show soon as I'm very sure I'm not pg so at least if af comes in the next few days I'll have a half way normal cycle. Tbh I've no idea how long would be normal for me but the longer it goes on the less chance I feel I have/will ovulate. Suppose stranger things have happened though I'm just scared to be too hopeful.

decafgirl · 19/06/2006 08:23

Hi guys, I think AF is on her way. Sad

I was pretty certain I hadn't ovd this month anyway but there's always that little glimmer of hope that won't budge isn't there?! I'm on CD41 today so am due AF on thurs but I can feel it coming I think.

Oh well, July thread here we come (although not till I've 100% come on, naturally!) Why do we do this to ourselves?

Beccy1974 · 19/06/2006 08:40

Morning everyone; Okay any ideas on this one? Started the ovulation tests and got the darker line Sunday 11 june so b'd sun, mon, tues. haven't had opportunities since. Friday just gone I was bored and did another test; another dark line, so that was 16th. And same yesterday. Has anyone had this happen? I've googled and found it can be caused by various things including polycystic ovary syndrome. My cycle is about 30 days I think..

I guess the moral of the story is don't test randomly. I've just made mysel more confused.

Thoughts v welcome

Beccy

Coriander73 · 19/06/2006 09:41

OH MY GOD PEACHY!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations girl!!!! :o :o :o :o

Hopecat · 19/06/2006 13:33

Hi Girls.

CD19 today. Becky - maybe you should stop using the sticks. You can get more than one LH surge in a cycle, but you only ovulate once.

Think I'm going to jump over to the July thread as my AF isn't due until June 28th anyway, and its turning into a bit of a ghost-town round here.

Will the rest of you come with me?

OP posts:
Beccy1974 · 19/06/2006 13:35

tks hopecat

i hoped it was as straightforward. same as choccies in cupboard for me these sticks; if i have them i use them.
was just concerned as was told when younger that i had v mild p/o syndrome, so had hoped it wasn't that. more than one surge sounds like good news to me

see you on july thread :-)

pussycatmomma · 19/06/2006 15:35
