9 days late for AF but 2 x BFN. Anyone else been through this?

I am now 9 days late but have no BFP Sad
I did a pg test early morning on 3rd Jan = BFN. I then did a second pg rest after work on 4th = BFN. Both tests were 'first response - 6 days earlier'.
I'm now very confused and worried. Really thought I was pg but now not so sure.
I have no AF symptoms either. Very tired and struggling to concentrate, bloated stomach, occasional cramping and have been peeing quite a bit. Have felt a teensy bit queasy occasionally but why the BFN?
Has anyone been through this and got a BFP eventually?

Hi Josephine, that's great news, so we now have another vey late BFP.

blue - sounds like you should def see the doc as if you don't get a BFP, then something else is going on with the spotting? I was 10 days late yesterday when I got my 'proper' BFP but it was very faint on a FRER earlier this week (about 7 days late). I've felt preg since NYE - had so many symptoms, so have been getting BFNs every couple of days since then!

Jellybean - I found on the web that FRER detects anything over 5 whilst the others are 25 - think it was on a website ( but not theirs ) sorry cant remember where, but it was why I end up trying them again!

Blue I hope it's not AF :( I got a BBFN this morning (birthday-big-fat-negative) :( I have ordered some Internet ones now but I don't think they will be here til Thursday :( which is after my doc app

Can I join please ladies, as I have just seen my one remaining marble roll out of the door.

Two days late, BFN x 2, sooooooooooo many pregnancy symptoms but had MMC in September (first pregnancy) and am now convinced there's something wrong.

There have also been three second pregnancy announcments in our circle of friends in the last week, my parents mice have just sprogged and yesterday my MIL found a teensy tiny baby fish whilst cleaning her fish tank. Everything is having babies except me!

So sorry for those of you who have had BFN's xx

Blue - so sorry about your news, if it is AF at least your are out of limbo, if it stops again maybe see the docs.

123 - enjoy your hols, fingers crossed on your news when you get back.

Jellybean - as has been said before, it's not over until AF.

Girl - I also had an MMC on my first pregnancy in november, I was in the same boat, really obvious and strong symptoms but not BFP until I was 10 days late. I'm also completely paranoid that this will go wrong, but I don't see any way not to be, good luck I know how you feel.

Another BFN for me this morning. I have to say I'm almost jealous of your AF, bluefreckles. At least you can look forward to a new cycle. I'm going to wait until I'm back from my holiday at the end of the month and will then see my doctor if no AF.

Well, AF arrived today on CD 49 :( Still, ten tests later I was pretty sure I wasn't pregnant so it's nice to be on a new cycle.

Had a total melt-down yesterday though and made an appointment with my doctor, which was this morning. She told me not to panic and that the late cycle might be due to some intense pre-Christmas dieting. She has now "prescribed" me 3 months of Agnus Castus, so will see how that goes (I live abroad and my practice is quite into alternative remedies, just in case that all sounds a bit odd).

Blue go see the doctor! I did today and they are going to be doing tests at the start of my cycle and then 21 days in to see whats happening. My doctor is going to help me conceive (not literally lol)

Just to update that's me out AF here, always next month! Just glad that I now know and hope its all back to normal.

Hey all. Sad as it is Sad I have left this bus and joined the 2013 Baby Dust Bus. I hope everyone still on this bus is either excited about the prospect of getting a BFP in February or already upduffed and glowing!

It's really been lovely sharing the trials of TTC and late AF's with you all. Hope to see some of you on the next bus!
