9 days late for AF but 2 x BFN. Anyone else been through this?

I am now 9 days late but have no BFP Sad
I did a pg test early morning on 3rd Jan = BFN. I then did a second pg rest after work on 4th = BFN. Both tests were 'first response - 6 days earlier'.
I'm now very confused and worried. Really thought I was pg but now not so sure.
I have no AF symptoms either. Very tired and struggling to concentrate, bloated stomach, occasional cramping and have been peeing quite a bit. Have felt a teensy bit queasy occasionally but why the BFN?
Has anyone been through this and got a BFP eventually?

Mrsstewpot I dtd everyday (maybe bar a day or 2) and still going (tmi) just in case haha

now eating ridiculous amounts of chocolate to console myself.

P.S. I must also be the only person who doesn't even get an evaporation line!

Chocolate will help Blue. Sometimes you just have to embrace feeling down. But it's not over yet - I will remain (annoyingly) upbeat and positive for you!

Can you imagine what it was like before pregnancy tests? When did they become widely available? Did our parents have to just wait and see?

not read all the thread, but I was 20 days late. normally always bang on time. and got a BFP,am now 10 weeks pregnant.

It does mean my dates are all screwed up, but got an early scan which confirmed 6/7 weeks pregnant, when I would have been 8/9 I think. but will get due date when I get another scan in a week's time.

I have now read it and feel bad for posting, as I got a positive outcome.

the limbo was the worst bit, but sometimes it does work out.

did I test, oh yes I did indeed.about 10 pound shop tests, 2 clear blue and about 4 asda a ones. the day my pack of 20 tests from eBay arrived. I got BFP.

Wow, i'm way behind on this thread now! Based on how the ttc threads normally go, i thought id try and summarise where we all are - So i think we now have the following people who are all late but still hopeful until AF arrives - Have I missed anyone? And did I manage to get any of the stats right?

Bluefreckles - AF due 29/12 (now CD 40)
Purplefairies - AF due 31/12 (now CD 43)
Purplepoppyseed - AF due 3/1 (now CD 35)
123234345 - AF due 31/12 (now CD ??)
Jellybeandavey - AF due 31/12 (now CD 41)
Girraferama - ??

Blitzy and Weewee both had examples where AF eventually arrived but Mrsstewpot, yellow, weewee's colleague and I've just found out one of my colleagues all had BFP's eventually.

I'm still not going to get too excited especially as you are all way further overdue than me, but I'm still keeping fingers crossed for all of us just in case!

Just bought a test, a clear blue digi one even though I wanted first response but Sainsbury's didn't have it Hmm just stopping off at Uncle Sams for some comfort food haha

Hi all, got my AF yesterday which was 6 days late & it was my worst 1 since coming off the pill since August, nearly keeled over with pain, & AF was bright red ( sorry if tmi) but it only lasted a day?? Nothing today except feeling nauseous, bloated & have a pain on my right side?? 😞Anyone else had this?

Pharmagirl, I haven't had that before. Every single period I've ever had have last 5-6 days or more, even after I came off the pill in October x

Jellybean was having 3-5 day Af before this one, but more like the ones u have while on pill more brown then red! Didn't mind getting Af yesterday as my cycle was getting better 28,42,35,34 & straighting out, don't know if its stress related or my mind playing tricks?! x

Thanks for the summary! Mine was due 21/12 so I'm well behind the rest of you Sad I tested again on 4th Jan with a BFN... Think I may be in the definitely-not-pg group.. Unless I end up like one of the mystery ones who finds out at 20 weeks! Ahh if only..
