9 days late for AF but 2 x BFN. Anyone else been through this?

I am now 9 days late but have no BFP
I did a pg test early morning on 3rd Jan = BFN. I then did a second pg rest after work on 4th = BFN. Both tests were 'first response - 6 days earlier'.
I'm now very confused and worried. Really thought I was pg but now not so sure.
I have no AF symptoms either. Very tired and struggling to concentrate, bloated stomach, occasional cramping and have been peeing quite a bit. Have felt a teensy bit queasy occasionally but why the BFN?
Has anyone been through this and got a BFP eventually?

In a similar situation. AF is 10 days late, I have taken a clear blue this morning and BFN...I am now seriously worried there is something else going on as we have been TTC for a few months with no luck .. I swear our bodies like to play tricks on us just to be cruel! I don't really want to go to the dr as I always struggle to get an appt and feel like I would be wasting their time at the moment, just wondering if anyone has been in a similar position??

Any news on your AF?

I'm, according to the internet, now due my next AF! My cycle average is 24 days, shortest being 22 days and longest being 26 days. I have had constant PMS since Monday but still no AF! I don't like taking tablets, especially if I am pregnant so I continue to feel rubbish all this week.

Sorry for being stupid, but what is and how do I work out my 'luteal phase?' Also, what is IPKs and SMEP? Does anyone think my cycle is too short to conceive?

The waiting for either AF or BFP is the worst part. If it is AF, then I just wish it'd turn up and get it over with....

I was on the pill - stopped in Sep 2012 to ttc #2. The first 3 cycles were longer than my regular 28 day cycles (35, 32, 30 days). I then settled into my 28 day textbook cycles for the next 3 cycles (14 day luteal phase). The cycle before this was slightly longer - 30 days - however I had started spotting on cd28. This cycle is bonkers - I'm currently on cd33 with no hint of af!

Work was manic the past 2 months, so stress might be a factor. It's so bad, we only managed to dtd last Sat for this cycle - so can't even be pregnant (BFN yesterday).

FFS I just want AF now! Hoping to try the SMEP next cycle and bought some more OPKs and a basal body thermometer!

I'm now 18 days late. Never been this late ever. Did a test this morning but still a BPN. Had PMS symptoms on Monday 13 May but nothing so far. Now got a dull ache in the lower part of my stomach. What's going on?

To Mrsstewpot, did you have a light period or IB, prior to being 17 days late???

This waiting for AF is sooo frustrating! All I get is BFNs, and convincing myself not preggers as back ache, dizziness and cramps have gone. Just random tight, sore and itchy nipples.

Now 15 days late! Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey all. Sad as it is I have left this bus and joined the 2013 Baby Dust Bus. I hope everyone still on this bus is either excited about the prospect of getting a BFP in February or already upduffed and glowing!

It's really been lovely sharing the trials of TTC and late AF's with you all. Hope to see some of you on the next bus!

Just to update that's me out AF here, always next month! Just glad that I now know and hope its all back to normal.

Blue go see the doctor! I did today and they are going to be doing tests at the start of my cycle and then 21 days in to see whats happening. My doctor is going to help me conceive (not literally lol)

Well, AF arrived today on CD 49 :( Still, ten tests later I was pretty sure I wasn't pregnant so it's nice to be on a new cycle.

Had a total melt-down yesterday though and made an appointment with my doctor, which was this morning. She told me not to panic and that the late cycle might be due to some intense pre-Christmas dieting. She has now "prescribed" me 3 months of Agnus Castus, so will see how that goes (I live abroad and my practice is quite into alternative remedies, just in case that all sounds a bit odd).

Another BFN for me this morning. I have to say I'm almost jealous of your AF, bluefreckles. At least you can look forward to a new cycle. I'm going to wait until I'm back from my holiday at the end of the month and will then see my doctor if no AF.

Girl - I also had an MMC on my first pregnancy in november, I was in the same boat, really obvious and strong symptoms but not BFP until I was 10 days late. I'm also completely paranoid that this will go wrong, but I don't see any way not to be, good luck I know how you feel.

Two days late, BFN x 2, sooooooooooo many pregnancy symptoms but had MMC in September (first pregnancy) and am now convinced there's something wrong.

There have also been three second pregnancy announcments in our circle of friends in the last week, my parents mice have just sprogged and yesterday my MIL found a teensy tiny baby fish whilst cleaning her fish tank. Everything is having babies except me!

So sorry for those of you who have had BFN's xx
