9 days late for AF but 2 x BFN. Anyone else been through this?

I am now 9 days late but have no BFP Sad
I did a pg test early morning on 3rd Jan = BFN. I then did a second pg rest after work on 4th = BFN. Both tests were 'first response - 6 days earlier'.
I'm now very confused and worried. Really thought I was pg but now not so sure.
I have no AF symptoms either. Very tired and struggling to concentrate, bloated stomach, occasional cramping and have been peeing quite a bit. Have felt a teensy bit queasy occasionally but why the BFN?
Has anyone been through this and got a BFP eventually?

Wow, Girrafe, that is sounding very positive for you. Please please please update us when you do another test.

I also caved and did 2 more Internet cheapies - one last night and one this morning with FMU. Both BFN, of course. Ended up opening a huge bag of crisps last night and munching them all - even spread camembert on a few since I can obviously keep eating that. Didn't feel as sad this time just very angry that my body is messing me around this month. I just felt so sure I'd get my BFP in January. In some ways I feel like this month was my only chance and it will never happen now. Irrational, I know, but how am I even going to have hope for future 2wws now that I know that symptoms and lack of period actually mean absolutely nothing :(

Totally agree that we should all update with our outcomes. It's so frustrating finding other threads and then never finding out what happened....

Hi ladies, so glad I found this thread.. am only on day 30 but normally very regular around day 24-26. Did a pg test this morn and got a BFN Sad

Almost good to know its another common cruel aspect of TTC and as long as AF doesnt arrive i'll keep testing and keep all my fingers and toes crossed this month is our time !!

Woohoo Girraferama! Fingers crossed that tomorrow confirms it!

Today: CD41, still no period. After having decided I definitely can't be pregnant, I still keep wondering. I still think it's unlikely though. I will test again on Saturday. Or maybe Friday. Will keep you all posted. Good luck all.

I tested again and nothing. Been have cramps on and off. I can't afford anymore tests lol so ill just have to wait. I've asked for one thing only for my birthday (Sunday) and that's a test haha I'm going to stop stressing now, what will be will be and we're not going to get anything any quicker, so embrace time Grin

Jellybean - how late are you now? Try and get the cheapie tests from ebay or amazon. I got 20 10miu tests for £2.40!

I keep reading about people DTD like as little as once a fortnight. I am so shocked! I couldn't survive on that, trying or no trying.

I'm afraid I'm one of those Blush but for a good reason!! DH is a shift worker so we can go days without seeing each other or not being in bed at the same time, it's annoying but sometimes life just gets on the way!!

Girra so glad to hear your good news, fingers crossed for a stronger line tomorrow.

I had heart burn last night too as I'm getting ridiculously tired, so I caved a day early and did another first response test and also got a really faint line this morning, so I'm going to try again tomorrow am. I'm feeling hopeful, however having had the MC so recently if this works out I think I'll probably be panicking and checking for bleeds constantly until I get past 13 weeks and I won't tell anyone this time until I cant hide it any more!

So summary of today: no AF!! And with all these hopeful faint lines, I'm feeling the hope Smile lets get some BFPs and make this the 2 line bus!!

Fab news Girrafarama and PurplePoppySeed about the faint lines, hope they continue getting darker!

Cheap ones arrived and still BFN. Going to re-test when 2 weeks overdue and maybe book dr after if still negative.

What's those that are still waiting doing about ttc? We are still trying but now have no idea when ovulation will be.

Update: day 42 and still no period. I have resisted the temptation to test today and will test tomorrow morning.

Day 45 for me now....won't test until the start of next week. I think that would be my last chance.

JellyBean, that's me, too. DH works away a lot on business and even when he's here, we both work really long hours with long commutes so are generally exhausted by the evening and can't wait to sleep more than anything else. Sad but true Blush

Leo16, DH is away on business this week so no DTD for us anyway. To be honest I normally get really clear OV symptoms - prounounced pain and changes in CM (usually followed by AF exactly 14 days later), so I think I'd know if I were ovulating. At the moment I feel nothing at all. It's like a total non-cycle.

Morning all, I've now done 3 cheapie tests and went out to get a first response this morning to confirm - definite BFP!!

Congrats too purple - looks like we've started a trend and hopefully a lucky thread!! I was cd52 on first positive and I had tested as recently as a week ago, so don't give up ladies - it's not over until Aunt Flo sings!!

Yay! Congrats!! I'm losing track of all these BFPs! Lol I'm past the record of 42dats for a cycle. I'm now 43days lol going to get an Asda one tonight when I take mum shopping. I'm gona do it tomorrow and not on my bday Sunday cos if its still a bfn I don't wana feel disappointed all day.
